Sean, Bay, and Andy are joined by Kieran and Juan to talk about the first 3 episodes of Marco Polo, the fourth Doctor Who story, and our first lost one. We spend some time talking about Lost Episodes, Reconstructions, and Telesnaps, and Andy introduces us to the . . . interesting fan-made animation he found. Along the way, we talk about the BBC's attempts at education and we urge the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to release the tapes that we assume they have hidden in a secret vault somewhere. Also, there's a Urine Monkey.

A Missing Serial. Which means we find a way to talk for an hour about 13 seconds of film. KIDDING! Thanks to all the nerds of the 1960s who hardwired reel-to-reel recorders to their televisions to capture sound, we have a complete audio track. Telesnaps -- on set photographs -- have been cobbled together with that nerd-sourced material to make an archive of what the creators intended. And thus, we are introduced to young Jamie McCrimmon, soon to join the TARDIS crew. Also featured in this episode -- Vic gets to discuss the Protestant Reformation, Scottish History and Civil Rights movements, all in one podcast. In this longer episode of The Doctor Who: Alhambra Podcast, Brett takes a quick look at the colourized and black & white of episode 5 of the animated classic Power of the Daleks, while looking at the Telesnaps from DWM SE #35.  The 3D colourized Daleks go from being OK at times to (see end of episode 3) to breathtakingly awesome (see end of episode 5).  As much as I do dislike the sloppiness of the animation at times, I am very grateful for having this episode back in some visual format.   I also have a previously recorded conversation with Liam discussing The Power of the Daleks and the Patrick Troughton era.  Then of course we go off on a tangent or...a lot.
