With Adobe appearing in the tech headlines for a variety of reasons recently, we wanted to talk to Victor Agreda about an article he penned for TidBITS. Victor related his experiences with Pixelmator Pro, and how it compared to Photoshop CC, with a focus on some specific features, and why you might want to review your pixel editor of choice. Our conversation covered the speed of the program, where Pixelmator Pro shines, and where Photoshop CC comes out on top. If you are making a purchasing decision, or reviewing the one you’ve already made, listen to what Victor has to say first. Victor also talks about one of his current projects that takes a different, analog approach to productivity.   This edition of MacVoices is supported by Linode, high performance cloud hosting and virtual servers for everyone. This is the very first episode of Home Slice, a podcast about how pizza brings people together, hosted by Amanda Rainey and Rachel Wise. We are both podcast lovers, but more importantly we are pizza lovers. So we figured, why not join the two together? In this episode, we talk about OUR pizza stories — how and why we came to love it so much. We also include some pizza thoughts from our friends around the country. Home Slice is produced by Rachel with production help from Amanda. Special thanks to Victor Agreda, Allison Becker, Ahny Hanna, Jordan Noel, Samantha Isasi, Colette Johnson, Casey Morell, Jordan Sangid and Sarah Tung. Music in this episode is by Mario Viele, The Onions, Dubb Nubb, Comfort Zone and Belly Belt. The closing song and logo are by Paper Ceilings. Our featured pizzas this week are the Steven Cheese (pictured here) and the sausage-pepperoni from Pizza Tree in Columbia, Mo.

Tell The StoryHappy Monday everyone, and welcome to another episode of Appitalize On Your Idea: The Podcast.  Today we have on Victor Agreda Jr, of Angry Dad Gamer and SuperPixel studios.  Victor has done a lot of things in his life that has brought him to where he is now.Having started as just a commenter on a blog, turned him into the Editor-in-chief (yes I'm skipping a lot of that story here) and when that blog shut down he continued on telling stories with his comedy, his magic and now his new gaming web series.Victor mentions a great thing I want to share with everyone: Test, observe, and course correct.  So often in business we think we know the path of least resistance.  We know our product, we believe there is one clear way to get to the end goal, and go with blinders.  That's usually never the case.  Many times we have to be able to pivot.  Pivoting is all part of the story though.  Remember the last time you saw a horror movie?  There was for sure a pivotal turn in the movie flipping your thoughts of what was going to happen on its head.  That's telling the story! My thanks to Victor for not only being on the show but for letting me be a part of the The Unofficial Apple Weblog while it lasted. If you like the content in this episode please do leave a review in iTunes.Links Mentioned During the Show:Angry Dad GamerSuper Pixel StudiosTwitch.TVConnor Franta's You Tube Channel
