Our culture tells us that popularity and influence are the measuring sticks by which our worthiness is assessed. But the Bible tells us that our worth was established before we even had a name. That our purpose was ordained by God before we took our first breath. Those things and so many more would be considered 'unsafe' or even illegal today! We are a culture that has become obsessed with safety. We deadbolt our doors, have locks on our mailboxes, and cameras on every corner. But try as we might to ensure our own security, nothing is absolutely foolproof.
