Shelley Hennig, who plays the role of Stephanie Johnson on NBC Daytime's "Days of our Lives," makes a quick visit to the podcast to chat about the character and other ventures. Martha Byrne, who many fans will remember for playing the role of Lily Walsh Snyder on CBS Daytime's "As the World Turns," makes a return visit to BuzzWorthy Radio. Byrne began playing the role of Lily Walsh in 1985, taking over the part from originator Lucy Deakins. The actress would then play the role until 1989 before moving to the west coast. Byrne won her first Daytime Emmy in 1987 for Younger Actress in a Drama Series. In 1993, Byrne returned to the role of Lily, to where she stayed with the show until 2008. In 2001, she won her second Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for the dual rols of Lily and newly created character, Rose D'Angelo. Following her ATWT departure, Byrne had a stint on ABC's "General Hospital," as Andrea Floyd. She continued to work producing and writing a webseries entitled, "GOTHAM." Previously, she had released three albums during her time on "World Turns," and was hired as script writer for "The Bold and the Beautiful" in early 2009.
