In this episode, we are exploring Auckland. I am taking you to Waiheke Island which is known for its beaches and vineyards, we’ll walk through Hobbiton, and experience traditional Maori songs. 

This week I traveled through Peru. I visited Inca ruins in the Sacred Valley, climbed Machu Picchu Mountain, and then ventured into the Amazon Rainforest where I encountered a variety of wildlife.

I am taking on the biggest adventure yet: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. This five day trek takes me from the rainforest to a glacier.

The journey begins in the Kathmandu Valley. I’m visiting the royal squares of the four kingdoms that occupied the area in the 1700s-1800s and learning how Hinduism and Buddhism are intertwined. Then I’m heading south to Chitwan to go on a wildlife safari in search of rhinos.

In this episode, we will visit Angkor Wat along with other temples in Siem Reap, meet an elephant, learn about the Khmer Rouge, and go to a traditional dance show.

Let’s wander through Ho Chi Minh – still called Saigon by locals – and then head out on a four-day biking tour through the Mekong River Delta. Along the way we’ll learn about Vietnamese history, food, and culture.

Melbourne reminded me of Tokyo and San Francisco, it’s modern meets hipster. While I was in Melbourne I discovered secret laneway bars and underground speakeasies, visited a penguin colony, and went on a bike tour.

This week I’m visiting Brisbane, Byron Bay, and Sydney. We’ll go hiking, meet native wildlife, and hit the beach.

We are biking through wineries, traveling to Milford Sound, and visiting the sights in Queenstown. This small city is known for adventure travel and it is one of New Zealand’s most popular travel destinations.
