Abject Heroes - A D&D Podcast

Three adventurers, Barrik, a veteran scavenger, Alika, a warrior with no clan, and Lea, an elderly sheep herder, arrive in the Old Province, the last sanctuary from the fog. Barrik, Alika, Lea, and Callo, set out to rescue the villagers of the besieged town, Ketledor. However upon arriving, it is not entirely clear who are the antagonists and who is in need of aid. Instagram - Patreon - @AbjectHeroes

The four adventurers head into Copperdot Forest to hunt for eggs, but also to follow their only lead to a Lake within the forest where Barrik's daughter was supposedly last seen. Instagram - Patreon - @AbjectHeroes

The adventurers arrive in the desert village of Petrelot in hopes of identifying their magic staff, but are tasked first with clearing away creatures that have infested the village's cliffside homes. Instagram - Patreon - @AbjectHeroes

The party heads from the now abandoned Petrelot towards what remains of the Greymorn Citadel, where Lea has been pushing to investigate, and both Barrik and Alika have heard tell of a dangerous vault that may yet be unclaimed. Instagram - Patreon - @AbjectHeroes

Entering Amberhall city, players are first met by the denizens that lurk within its abandoned homes. Then at sunrise, players also run into the cities few remaining residents, who are able to offer more helpful information than expected. Instagram - Patreon - @AbjectHeroes

Chasing down the heavily armored duo, players decide to attempt the palace entrance, then reluctantly help the thankless duo pass the hazards before Amberhall Palace. Instagram - Patreon - @AbjectHeroes

Ascending the steps of Amberhall palace, players encounter aggressive enemies and trigger more of the palaces defenses, while also dealing with the conflicting aims of their fellow scavengers. Instagram - Patreon - @AbjectHeroes

With the King subdued, the party explores the various stripped and untouched rooms of the abandoned palace, scrounging up only the items that previous scavengers missed, or chose to leave behind. Instagram - Patreon - @AbjectHeroes

Within Amberhall Cathedral, Barrik, Lea and Alika encounter what remains of it's congregation, and look for clues to a recently witnessed kidnapping in which they suspect the victim is their fellow adventurer Callo. Twitter - Instagram - @AbjectHeroes

Following a trail of discarded wealth through the desert, the party attempts to track down a hostile trio who may have kidnapped their friend Callo. The abandoned mountain caves do not hide much, but they do still hide something. Twitter - Instagram - @AbjectHeroes

Waking in Amberhall, Lea, Barrik, Alika and Callo see how violent the streets become at night. Then pack up their survivors for the long road back to Rallu Outpost. Twitter - Instagram - @AbjectHeroes

The residents of Rallu Outpost old and new gather together for a celebration of gift giving, competition, and merry making. But there is one person missing the festivities, and Lea finds it hard to ignore the absence. Twitter - Instagram - @AbjectHeroes

Hoping to save an old friend from the approaching fog, the party and allies take a boat and set forth across the Lumah sea. But a sudden betrayal creates danger and confusion on the short journey to Bellwynn Harbor. Twitter - Instagram - @AbjectHeroes

Arriving back at Rallu Outpost with Yuri, the party finds that a few residents left in the night to follow a strange trail. No one else saw what left it, but the pursuers were doubtfully ready to confront it on their own. Patreon.com/AbjectHeroes

Alika chooses revenge over rest, and heads back into the Copperdot Forest to locate and destroy an enemy that has kept him on guard for far too long. Patreon.com/AbjectHeroes

After a nights rest, Lea, Barrik, and Alika travel with Wish and Nuvis to Greymorn Citadel, hopeful that the pegs they collected will open the gates to old riches and secrets locked away beneath the abandoned ruins. Patreon.com/AbjectHeroes

Attempting to climb in the catacombs comes with its own risks. While Alika tests his coordination in search of answers, greedier allies steal the accessible but desecrated treasures. And everyone else must deal with the consequences. Patreon.com/AbjectHeroes

Weak from many encounters with the disturbed elven skeletons, the party now finds themselves trapped in the catacombs with a giant beetle, set upon them as some sort of test by an elf bearing a familiar face and staff. Patreon.com/AbjectHeroes

With the dangers of Greymorn Catacombs behind them, the party allows Alika to take a much needed rest while going over their findings and contemplating the various paths before them. Patreon.com/AbjectHeroes

Returning from Greymorn without Wish and Nuvis, the party checks in with Graam and a few other residents, and quickly get distracted from their plans by a familiar vision and a respectful request. Patreon.com/AbjectHeroes

Finding Keshosh before the trial leads to some hostility, and Lea is unable to control herself. A previously bested enemy returns from the shadows and the party must choose between revenge and family. Patreon.com/AbjectHeroes

Returning from the collapsed Neferu Mines, the party requests aid from the residents of Rallu outpost. With two loved ones mixed between four sets of bones, Barrik is hopefully they can identify and revive his daughter, Elsa.         Patreon.com/AbjectHeroes
