This episode is with me your host, Drisana Moss, and my mother, Prartho Sereno. I am currently running a 30 day challenge. All the details for the challenge can be found at www.drisanamoss.com. This episode is about forgiveness. When I had twins at 17, things were very challenging for me and my mama. My mother is amazing! The way that she loved me and the way she thought me, made me who I am today! We have both forgiven each other since then. Forgiving someone is so healing and really lifts your inner Peace or peace of mind to a whole new level! Forgiveness is for us, not the other person! However, it can also help strengthen relationships! When you take accountability for your own actions and let someone know you forgive them, you are set free from mental turmoil! Remember, that in order to heal fully, we must forgive anyone and everyone who has hurt us! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/drisana-moss/message

Red flags: this episode touches on topic such as aggression, emotional intelligence, domestic violence, physical and mental abuse. This episode was recorded on July 15, 2020. I was personally victim of domestic violence with my twins father. He abuse me mentally and physically for two years until I finally left the state. Today, I talked with my 16-year-old son, Brandon, about how to identify red flags in relationships. We also talked about strategies to deal with frustration when you were in a romantic relationship. This is a topic that I believe every Child should have the opportunity to discuss with a levelheaded reasonable adult. I encourage all parents to have this conversation with their child. No human should ever have to endure a relationship physical or mental abuse issues. Children need to be taught to identify these issues early on, so that it's not a bigger issue later. If you Or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence please contact the national domestic violence hotline: website https://www.thehotline.org/ or call 800-799-7233 --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/drisana-moss/message
