    Body Scan to Release Stress

    Total time = 10minutes. We can hold the stress of daily life in parts of our body. Some hold onto stress in the upper back, the neck, the belly, the low back, maybe the jaw. By taking a little time out of the day to be still, quiet, and scan the body to release, we may feel a little lighter, calmer, more at ease. We can release tension by centering our attention and connecting to those various part of the body. This meditation is best done while seated or lying down.     Focus and Ground

    Release and Renew Meditation

    Deep Exhalations Meditation

    Total time: 7 minutes 50 seconds. By changing our breathing, we can change the way we handle ourselves and the world around us. In this short breathing meditation, we will increase the length of our exhales. By increasing the length of the out-breath, we can provide a sense of deep relaxation to the vagus nerve, which will allow for increased parasympathetic system activity, helping us to find a deeper sense of calm and relaxation. This may help when feeling fatigued or overworked, anxious, or restless. You can do this meditation while seated or lying down and is best done when wearing headphones. You might find this meditation to be particularly helpful right after you wake up or right before sleep. Please do not use this meditation while driving.     Breathe to Focus

    Total time = 8 minutes [final 4 minutes music alone]. This process will help you if you have trouble settling down before meditation. It's also helpful if you need to focus, slow down thoughts, or center your awareness on what's in front of you so you can offer your full attention to whichever task, project, or conversation. This is also good if you just feel scattered, distracted, and wish to bring in calm to your day. The first part of this meditation will begin with alternate nostril breathing, a known practice that has a huge impact on body, mind, nervous system. By alternating air through the nostrils, we help calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and bring an overall feeling of relaxation to the body. The music will continue on so you can keep going for as long as you'd like. You can do this meditation while seated and is best when using headphones. Please do not use this meditation while driving.     Meditation for Reconnecting to Presence

    Time = 5:16 minutes. A simple but effective meditation to start with if you're new to the practice. This is also great if you're short on time, or right after waking up. Attune to your body, watch your breath, and discover stillness in the moment. This meditation is best done when wearing headphones, and can be done seated or lying down. It may help to have one palm on your heart to feel the movement of breath and feel the connection. Maybe one palm on your lower abdomen to incorporate a deeper breath.
