Hey, I am Lori Atkins. I am a certified OBGYN with FĒNOM Women’s Care in Fort Worth, Texas. Today, I really felt compelled to talk with you a little bit about current events with reproductive rights and women.
Hi, I’m Dr. Lori Atkins. I am a certified OBGYN with FĒNOM Women’s Care. And I’m here with my one of my partners Dr. Catherine Bevan today on May 15th, 2022. Today, we are going to talk with Dr. Andrea Palmer & Dr. Catherine Bevan about body image after pregnancy. This is such a hugely emotional topic. For so many women motherhood changes us in so many ways. The whole process of motherhood from the pregnancy, the labor to having children of your own, it’s not ever something that you can put into words for other people. There is not language adequate to describe the ways that you change both physically and mentally as you move through motherhood. You can tell people it’s uncomfortable to be nine months pregnant, but until you’re nine months pregnant, you can’t get that.
