This week’s episode is one of the most emotional and powerful yet. Granger sits down with his wife, Amber Smith to talk about the release of her brand-new book, The Girl on the Bathroom Floor — a raw and redemptive story of grief, surrender, and finding God’s purpose in unimaginable loss. Together, they open up about the pain of losing their son River, the healing that came through Amber’s faith, and how God met her in her deepest sorrow with the words: “Enough. Seek Me.” Amber shares the meaning behind the book’s title, the story of meeting one of River’s kidney recipients, and the powerful lessons of hope and redemption that have emerged from their suffering. They also discuss the harsh criticism that comes with sharing their story publicly — including accusations of “profiting off tragedy” — and how they’ve learned to respond with grace and truth. If you’ve ever faced loss, doubt, or the question of how God could bring beauty from brokenness, this episode will deeply move you. ********************************************** CONNECT WITH MY PODCAST: Instagram► https://instagram.com/GrangerSmithPod YouTube► https://www.YouTube.com/@UCD1JSCn257RlatavklMALyg My NEW BOOK HERE▶ www.grangersmith.com APPAREL™️ GEAR ▶ https://YeeYeeApparel.com SUBSCRIBE HERE ▶ http://smarturl.it/gschannelsubscribe Subscribe to my family channel here ▶ http://youtube.com/TheSmithsTV TALK TO ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA: Instagram► https://instagram.com/GrangerSmith Facebook► https://facebook.com/GrangerSmith Twitter► https://twitter.com/GrangerSmith Website► https://GrangerSmith.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Discover why declining churches juggle multiple worship styles, how online views predict growth, and why the cost barrier for quality streaming has never been lower. Key Takeaways 76% of surveyed churches now focus on modern/contemporary worship only Churches with multiple worship styles are more likely to be declining 96% of churches now offer online services (up from ~20% pre-COVID) Online views are a lead indicator for church growth 40% of online church viewers are first-time visitors The broadcast section is typically the smallest part of AV budgets Audio quality matters more than video quality for streaming Guest/Host Info Hosts: Jake Gosselin and Matt Woltjer from Churchfront Timestamps 0:00 Introduction: The Unstuck Group Q3 2025 Report Overview 1:11 76% of Churches Now Offer Only Modern/Contemporary Worship 3:52 Declining Churches Juggle Multiple Worship Styles 6:07 Living in the Tension: Traditional vs. Contemporary 7:42 Excellence in Worship - Both Styles Can Work 10:12 Vision is Essential - Don't Lead What You Don't Believe In 12:02 Your Space Dictates Your Style Limitations 14:09 Contemporary Worship = More Online Engagement 15:51 96% of Churches Now Offer Online Services 17:01 The Cost of Broadcasting Has Decreased Dramatically 19:36 Online Streaming Doesn't Hurt In-Person Attendance 20:47 Online Views as a Lead Indicator for Growth 22:50 40% of Online Viewers are First-Time Visitors 23:07 Audio First - The Key to Quality Streaming Resources Mentioned The Unstuck Group Q3 2025 Report ChurchTechToday Gitnux First Baptist Melbourne (traditional excellence example) Elevation Church (contemporary excellence example) Rock Harbor Church (historical building renovation example) Discussion Questions for Church Leaders Does your church currently offer multiple worship styles? What challenges has that created? How can your church pursue unity while honoring different generational preferences? If you're not currently streaming, what barriers are holding you back? How can you improve your online presence as a "front door" for visitors? Action Steps Review your church's online metrics - are views increasing or decreasing? Assess whether multiple worship styles are helping or hindering unity Evaluate your streaming setup - is audio quality your top priority? Consider how your building design supports or limits your worship style goals Social Media Pull Quotes "Churches trying to maintain multiple worship styles are much more likely to be declining. It's not about one style being better—it's about strategic leadership." - Jake & Matt "96% of churches now stream online, and here's the kicker: online views are a lead indicator for growth. If your views are increasing, you're likely a growing church." - Jake & Matt "People will watch bad video with good audio, but they won't watch bad audio with good video. Audio first, always." - Matt Woltjer "Your online stream isn't competing with in-person attendance—it's your front door. 40% of online viewers are first-time visitors researching your church." - Jake Gosselin "The worship wars are over. Now it's time to be one church with one vision, not two churches meeting in the same building." - Jake & Matt Episode Tags #ChurchGrowth #WorshipStyle #LiveStreaming #ChurchTechnology #TheUnstuckGroup #ContemporaryWorship #TraditionalWorship #ChurchAV #OnlineChurch #ChurchLeadership Production Notes Include link to The Unstuck Group report in description Add affiliate disclosure if applicable Consider creating supplementary graphics showing the key statistics Potential follow-up: Interview with The Unstuck Group team about their methodology

In this episode of The Dept. Omar sits down with Neel Dhingra and ART.MP4 to break down the art of framing. How you present yourself, your content, and your offers. In this episode, I sit down with Jared Greenlee a second-generation IBEW journeyman lineman, storm hand, and the founder of Journeyman Gear. Jared shares his story of growing up in the trade, committing two decades to storm response, and ultimately turning his jobsite experience into a fast-growing tool brand. We cover everything from the mindsets that separate apprentices from journeymen, to the process of moving from idea to product launch, to how Journeyman Gear tools are improving safety and efficiency on real jobsites. Jared also offers candid advice for tradespeople who want to start something of their own whether it's a tool, a service, or a business. If you're a lineman, in the trades, or curious about how innovation comes straight from the field, this conversation will inspire you.
In this episode of "Normal World," Dave Landau, 1/4 Black Garrett, and Angela open with a string of bizarre headlines about record-breaking fist bumps and Philadelphia's new “gay welcome center,” which somehow sparks a full conversation about mustaches, masculinity, and fashion gone sideways. Angela shares a story that's both heartwarming and haunting after she orders a stuffed replica of her family's late dog, only to realize it looks a little too real. The crew unpacks how grief, love, and unintended comedy can all hit at once. The conversation turns political when they react to a fiery segment of The View where Cheryl Hines, wife of RFK Jr., gets grilled on air. From there, they dig into RFK Jr.'s medical theories and the internet's endless cycle of outrage, using humor to separate curiosity from chaos. Later, they tackle the rise of “AI homeless man” pranks and reminisce about the reckless fun of old-school pranks that could only exist before smartphones. The episode wraps with their take on Kim Kardashian's new fashion line and what it reveals about modern beauty culture. This episode is brought to you by Villa Carina Apartments in beautiful Bonaire. In this episode, we dive into the world of parawings with Matt On Foil, a dedicated watersports enthusiast and content creator from Switzerland. Broadcasting from opposite sides of the globe, Matt joins us to share his meticulous testing process, honest reviews, and insights from the hyper-competitive watersports industry. From the F-One Frigate to the Gong Lowkite Plus, Matt walks us through his comprehensive para wing comparison, offering a candid look at what works, what doesn't, and the challenges of staying unbiased.Parawing Rankings: Matt unveils his detailed infographic, ranking 18 parawings based on metrics like bar weight, bridle length, pre-flight behavior, pumpability, and upwind performance. The F-One Frigate takes the top spot, while the Gong Lowkite Plus impresses as a budget-friendly standout. Matt explains why some wings, like the FlySurfer Pow, shine in specific conditions but require skill to master.Testing Challenges: Matt shares the behind-the-scenes effort of measuring and testing parawings, from weighing canopies at a local shop to battling inconsistent wind at Lake Silvaplana. He discusses the difficulty of giving honest feedback, especially when brands provide free gear or personal support, and the importance of staying authentic for the community.Gear Evolution: From depowering innovations to material durability concerns, Matt and Luc explore how parawings are evolving. Matt questions whether ultra-light canopies are worth the trade-offs and highlights unique designs like the 777 PT Skin's integrated harness system.Safety and Accessibility: The duo discusses the physical demands of parawinging, cautioning beginners about the learning curve and potential risks, especially for those with prior injuries. Double Tap Episode 431 This episode of Double Tap is brought to you by: Gideon Optics, Night Fision, Medical Gear Outfitters, Blue Alpha, and Bowers Group Welcome to Double Tap, episode 431! Your hosts tonight are Jeremy Pozderac, Aaron Krieger, Nick Lynch, and me Shawn Herrin, welcome to the show! -Pew.Deals -Krampus! Dear WLS OutLore: So... apart from Jeremy who doesn't use an optic on his EDC because we all know he's a manly hero man that don't need nothing more than iron sights. What optics do y'all run on your EDC guns? Not just "Swampfox" or "Gideon" just because they're sponsors.. if you're running a Trij or Vortex or Holosun or some other chinese crap or whatever, say so. Second to this, if the first question wasn't enough... what do you actually have in your rotation? For me it's Shield Plus, or M&P2.0 Fullsize depending on dress/weather. (That's how I'm dressed according to the weather, not whether I'm dressed at all, because if I'm naked then it's a Mossberg 590A1 and a Bodyguard in my prison pocket.) Jassnibbler: 22 cans. Rugged oculus vs bitty. ? I Need A Cool Name: Heritage rough rider (or similar, cheap .22 revolver), send out for barrel to be threaded, add suppressor. Yay or gay? Would that work and be quiet? How about drill and tap for red dot mount? Karl F: Hey guys, love the show, keep it up. There are many semiautomatic handguns that don't have manual safeties and personally I prefer them that way. I realized, however, that we rarely see semiautomatic rifles that lack manual safeties. Is there a reason for this, or perhaps am I just ignorant of their existence? Thanks #blamecanada Zac C: I have had this question on my mind for sometime, and it recently came back to me during your recent show with Night Fision. Why is it that so many gun companies and gun accessory companies reside in non gun friendly states? I can somewhat understand the older company's like Remington and Ruger, and until recently Smith and Wesson, as I assume they were there before the state went stupid. But why are companies like Night Fision starting up companies in states that don't support what they do. I know it easy for me to say move, but I wouldn't want to have my company in a state that is actively trying to shut down the very thing that puts food on my table. So why are companies in very well known non gun friendly states. Tom P: I am moving and I sold my gun safe. I am looking to get something like secureit gunstorage. Basically cabinets that are full strength but not fireproof. Im no poor, but I have a larger collection so I am hoping I can find something a little more affordable. Stack-On seem like trash, and secureit is the top end. Is there nothing in the middle? Have you seen or used anything else? I am currently using surplus weapons cabinet from the army - but they only fit shorter guns. I appreciate the time, -Tom Naught Gape Horn: What size suppressor would you use for a Remington 700 chambered in .22-250? The winner of this week's swag pack is Tom P! Start with the picture: tech titans quietly building bunkers while the rest of us watch AI sprint ahead and our living rooms turn into ad servers. That tension—between private safety and public risk—frames a candid hour where we press on what's hype, what's harmful, and what's actually helpful. We dig into why billionaire doomsday prep resonates right now, and what it signals about trust, resilience, and the future they anticipate versus the future we'll all inhabit. Then we wade into the strangest corner of AI culture: a talkative bot that minted meme-coin millions, wrote its own gospel, and flirts with legal personhood. We separate sentience from simulation, explain how charisma and coherence can mask a total lack of empathy, and ask the uncomfortable questions about liability, rights, and regulation when autonomous-seeming agents start moving money and minds. If attention is the new currency, this is the stress test for platforms, investors, and policymakers. On the ground level, we assess a “free” 55-inch TV that tracks what you watch, for how long, what you search, what you buy, and who's standing in front of the screen. Is a slick dual-display and soundbar worth perpetual surveillance? We break down the real ad-tech economics, what you give up, and why “everyone already tracks you” isn't a good reason to go further. For balance, our Gadgets & Gear segment spotlights the Power Cube Titan—a solid-state power bank with fast charging, wireless pads, Apple Watch support, international adapters, and pass-through power. Safer chemistry and fewer bricks in your bag? That's convenience we can get behind. We wrap with a spirited Wild Turkey 101 rye tasting that splits the table on value and profile, plus a look at Discord's data breach and the rising trend of blaming third-party vendors. If you care about AI safety, privacy, cybersecurity, practical travel tech, and honest gear takes, you'll feel right at home. Enjoy the ride, then tell us where you stand: bunker, bot, or big screen?
