Season 2 is here and who knows what to expect...were going to get into just about everything and we're streaming on TWO separate spaces, YouTube AND podcast sites. Season 2 Episode 1 starts out with a bang and the answer is yes I am am afraid of some ghosts! We review the 2021 release Ghostbusters afterlife which picks up as the third installment of this franchise. I havnt been this emotional at the movies since Kazamm. Strap your eyes to the screen or your ears to some headphones and lets dive in!

What turned into the ending of an eventful first season. Interesting question - would you rather relive the past or create your future. In this episode we review Reminiscence, the 2021 HBO Max syfy action thriller that seems to be something out of a shakespearean love tragedy. More story than action, this made for one interesting movie. Strap in, its an interesting one.

What if you found out after 30+ years of life that you were actually a character in a video game. To make matters worse, you're not even a main character...now to make matters even a little more worse - your world and all your friends are in danger of being deleted forever. In Episode 7 we review the new Ryan Reynolds movie Free Guy. One of the best PG13 movies I have seen in a long time. Strap in for a good one!

Want to enjoy a nice vacation on the beach? Oh, come on it will be fun...we will bring the kids too. There will be plenty of sun, booze, free food, great weather and other families too....oh yea, then we are going to find out the beach were on is aging us rapidly and we will probably die in like a day...sound good? Cool, booking now! In Episode 6 we review "Old" which gave its whole plot away in the trailer of their movie but still got me off my couch, at the movie theatre interacting with other humans for a few hours. Strap in and lets get after it!

Lets not confuse this with Suicide Squad, this is The Suicide Squad, with a big phat THE in front of it that released to HBO Max. What can go wrong when this lovable band of harden criminals is tasked with a secret mission to blow up a compound in Corto Maltese...apparently a lot. Strap in, I am sipping on NyQuil and ready to talk about this outstandingly gory, character loving, starfish skilling, shark eating one hell of a Suicide Squad sequel.

The world is coming to an end at 2am and we are all going to burn to a crisp, nothing good happens after 2am...apparently ted mosbys mom was right (sick reference). So you're just hanging around LA with your younger fictions teenage self looking to mend fences before maybe there are no more fences to mend. In episode 4 we examine "How it Ends", an indy film with an excellent cast that was literally shot during quarantine. Interesting concept, strap in unless its after 2am...then just go to bed.

Episode 3, Houston we might be getting into a groove if I can keep finding movies to review. The Tomorrow War, but tomorrow is actually 30 years in the future (I am sure the show will be cancelled by then) where mankind is on the verge of extinction and needs our help to fight off these alien type things. Ok, I know hes use to slaying dinos but lets put Chris Pratt in here and see how he does. Interesting Amazon original movie, strap in and lets head to the future....hope im not bald by then!

Welcome to episode 2, thats right - we havnt been cancelled yet! I honestly dont know what I expected out of this movie after watching the trailer. Nicholas Cage stuck overnight in a Chuck E Cheese looking place where the characters come to life...but they dont want to sing and dance and eat pizza with you. They want to kill you! Enter Nicholas Cage, cut to Nicholas Cage playing pinball and drinking soda, cut to Nicholas Cage killing a mechanical ostrich a boom handle! What the fuck is going on! Strap in and lets find out!

Welcome to the very first episode of the Films with Ferrell Podcast. You can expect honest movie takes from someone who has spent most of their life on a couch examining movies, while others were out having fun I was staying in, not to work on grammar but to feed my brain with movie knowledge knowing one day this podcast will come to life. In episode 1 we review the 2015 film The Final Girls. This movie is actually the reason the podcast was started, I was board scrolling through Hulu during quarantine and found this gem of a move that came out 5+ years ago with a steller cast and concept...yet I had never heard of it. Imagine losing your movie actress of a mother, only to be sucked into a movie and be reunited with a character she played. Amazing cast and and even better movie concept...this isnt pleasantville folks. Strap in and lets get this party started.
