Bite sized chunks that are easy to digest and keep you wanting more!It was Spooktober this past month, so Brett reviewed Choo Choo Charles from Two Star Games and talked about how one hit from that team couldn't help them in their recent flop with Cuff Bust. There's still a chance for redemption...but is it too little too late?Austin plays Silent Hill f and although the game looks great and plays well, he can't seem to get into it to finish it. It's a fun game for some people but for him it's not quite hitting the mark, despite the solid atmosphere and interesting story.Jason and Brett both play Outlast Trials. We missed this game when it first dropped but now with a new "Invasion" update we're in it and loving every bit of it. This game is dark, it's bloody and full of chaos but it's a blast to play with friends. 4 player co op and the new PVP mode where you can play as another player makes for a fun time.Lastly, we revisit Battlefield 6. Season 1 dropped with a new map, lots of new updates, a battle pass, a new mode and several gadgets and weapons. They also finally dropped the free to play Battle Royale now called "RedSec." The second season of the American black comedy superhero television series Peacemaker is based on the eponymous character from DC Comics. The season continues the story of jingoistic vigilante Chris Smith / Peacemaker, who finds an alternate dimension where his father and brother are still alive and the family together is a highly regarded superhero team. It is set after the events of the DCU film Superman (2025). It is produced by DC Studios with James Gunn as showrunner.John Cena stars as the titular character alongside Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Frank Grillo, and Robert Patrick. The season was ordered in February 2022, with Gunn set to write and direct all eight episodes. Filming was expected to begin in 2023, but work was put on hold when Gunn was made co-CEO of DC Studios and switched focus to Superman. The spin-off series Waller was then prioritized, but later delayed by the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes, and in March 2024 Gunn announced that the second season of Peacemaker would now release first. Some filming occurred the next month, taking place simultaneously with Superman at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Principal photography for the season took place from June to November.The season premiered on the streaming service HBO Max on August 21, 2025, and consisted of eight episodes. Steve Agee is a beloved actor, writer, comedian, and all-around funny person, seen most recently as John Economos in the John Cena DC Comics series Peacemaker on HBO. You may have caught his work in films like The Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy, vol. 2. You didn't see him in Meatballs, the 1979 Bill Murray summer camp comedy, because Steve was just a wee boy back then. Steve has seen Meatballs, though. Oh has he ever. He loves the film, loves summer camp in general, although in his middle-age he has realized what a terrible employee Bill Murray's character really is in the film. Insubordinate rule breaker who should be fired, when you stop and think about it. Steve also talks about what it's like to have a job like his where a day of labor might mean having to kill a gorilla with a chainsaw. Not a real gorilla, Sleepyheads, it's just pretend. [School of Movies 2025] Time for a surprisingly good Marvel that meant a lot to a great deal of people... and still somehow underperformed. This thing was brewing for years, from as far back as the second Disney Plus show, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, back in Lockdown 2021. The original comic premise was simple enough; have a manipulative scumbag assemble a super-team of disguised villains in the absence of The Avengers. However, this team is only mildly superpowered, and are wildly unbalanced. They're all either prior living weapons or experiments gone badly wrong, most of them have been being used for shady corporate black-ops and all of them are a hot mess, emotionally speaking. Plus the scumbag decides the best thing to do is kill them all off, rather than get their own Avengers. What we end up with is a collection of disturbed individuals who have to work together as a team to deal with a very specific, exceptionally dark situation with one of their own. It is DC's first Suicide Squad movie from 2016 done far, far better. Let's peel back the surface and dive into the murk beneath. Next Week: K-Pop Demon Hunters
