Hi, there :) My name's Erica, and I've created this podcast to help support anyone who's felt alone through the challenges that naturally arise in life. The past two years of my life have completely changed my perspective on how life actually is versus how I wish it to be. We all suffer from our own…
Cheers to this Tuesday, it's been a sticky one for me. Feeling a bit low and working to rebuild all the energy that's been misplaced... Life brings the best and the worst, and the growth that comes from each shows your strength and diligence as a human being. Take things for what they're worth, especially in the darkest moments. Love yall ~Erica
Happy Thursday friends :) Grateful to have you back and to share another episode that might just spark your fancy! I just completed another great read called The Psychology of Winning by Dr. Denis Waitley. For anyone working on bettering themselves by taking inspiring and affirmative action, this book and this episode are just for you. Who you believe yourself to be can change when your thoughts change, and if you're not happy with how your life is rolling, then it's up to you to rearrange areas for a better version of you. Of course, there's personal insight but lots of diverse topic discussions. Enjoy :) ~Erica
Happy Tuesday friends :) Been having mixed emotions the past few days about the unknown - usually it's something I can see through for myself, but when other people are involved, either something awful or amazing could happen. And I'm betting on AMAZING - what you see is what you get, what you look for you find. It's a simple awareness of being okay just as things are, no need to control an outcome that could naturally change on its own. Let things take their course, tomorrow will bring the truth to unknown. Cheers
Happy Mid-January friends :) Thank you so much for all the kind connections and listeners from ALL OVER THE WORLD! You are amazing!!! Today's episode is part book review, part personal growth. I recently read "How To Be A Badass At Making Money" by Jen Sincero and I really grew quite a bit as a person just by putting myself in the arena and digging deep to understand my own mentality. You can read all the books in the world, but without consistent action to build a better 'you', you'll get stuck and stay in the same excuses that are currently surrounding you. For anyone seeking a book to support their sticky-relationship with money, much like me, then this is a fabulous read I'd recommend for sure. Would love to hear your thoughts on how this book and/or episode helped you see yourself through a different light, I sure as hell know I do
Hey there friends :) In this episode, I share my deep feelings about therapy, working on my best self, and how life will inevitably throw you curveballs and challenges throughout the course of your existence. Our reactions to situations and open-mindedness define who we are as individuals. So for the upcoming year, I'm saying no to all the bullsh*t and focusing on kindness and sticking up for myself and who I believe I am. Fight for yourself, your time, your life - it's yours. Cheers to the final days before the New Year, grateful to share my life with you ♥️~Erica
Confidence is tricky... I never really knew what it looked like, and arrogance seemed to be tied together with this idea. Every day I get a little bit more comfortable with my truth and who I really am. I'm getting out of my head, out of my way, and the benefits of saying 'F*@% IT' to the things that don't matter while standing up for yourself - that's what confidence feels like! Cheers to your holiday season, well wishes full of joy and delicious chocolate candies :) ~Erica
Hey there :) This episode was recorded yesterday - it touches on how I'm choosing happiness in each moment of my life. Every year, right around this time of December I make a new personal goal for the next year ahead. We are the gatekeepers to our future - for me, happiness within myself has to come first. Cheers to the holidays, sending warm vibes and lots of love your way ~Erica
What up friends :) This episode is from a few days back and I feel can bring some perspective for you during the holiday time. Evaluating and reflection on your life is something we all can learn from. Our lives are our own, and it's up to us individually to better our circumstances and current reality. And for me, auditing connections with people through social media and in real life. Hope this episode brings you clarity, laughter, and as always - lots of love and well wishes. Keep pushing towards your best self, I'm right along with you :) ~Erica
I had a meetup last night with my Lonely Souls community. Living in the moment has become the most valuable tool I've learned to utilize, and last night is a perfect reflection of how much I've grown through my shit around friendship. Never take things personally, focus on the joys of life, and know that everyone has issues they're coping with, including you. Save yourself from your own demons, get your thoughts in check, and believe in the things you deserve - YOLO
Hey friends - this episode is my most emotional yet. Wednesday had a lot of curveballs thrown at me, and this was the start of it... As you work through milestones in your life, you soon find out that you're the only person who can ever truly make yourself happy. Take things for what they're worth, learn how to not overthink things, and appreciate each moment as an opportunity to become better for yourself. Love y'all
Happy Tuesday :) This episode poses the question, "If today marked your last day alive, how would you want to be remembered?" We all have a past, but it does not mean you have to live in the shadows of who you truly are. I want to be remembered for my kindness, vulnerabilities, and openness to connect. Decide how you want to be remembered, live true to yourself and push through the obstacles. Make the change you want to see, all doubts aside.
I was completely in my head the entire time I recorded this episode. Sometimes I feel that the way my brain works is so backward from others that what I say could be perceived as a bit 'wacko'. But it's true that I'll never know how much or little one episode with my perspective could help impact someone's life. And that's what these shows have done for me. They've instilled confidence, understanding, connection, and empathy. Enjoy :) ~Erica
Happy Thursday friends :) I'm a full believer that what you listen to and watch enhance who you are as a person. We're independent thinkers, and finding the words you need to hear and the language of kindness cultivate who you're destined to be. These are just a few of who I listen to when I feel down or need a pick-me-up. Be your own discission maker - give yourself the good stuff ~Erica
Welcome back - here's to part two, the final part of my session with Troy. If you'd like to share your story or even parts of your growth, feel free to reach out. I'd love to connect with you :) ~Erica ereichstein@gmail.com Instagram: @cali.poppies
Happy Wednesday, friends :) Today's episode is with a member from 'All The Lonely Souls' Meetup community. Troy holds insight specific to his struggles, holding onto a positive outlook, and how he's reframed his life that harnesses happiness. Enjoy both parts one and two - grateful to bring you the first collaborative episode of two perspectives that could truly open your eyes to new possibilities. ~Erica
Hey there friends :) The past few days have been a bit rough for me, emotionally. There's been a lot of transition in my life from the past two years, and I'm working through my sh*t, so to speak. People will always have an opinion of you, not matter how you decide to live your life, especially those closest to you. This is a continual journey I'm on, I don't have all the answers. But I'm figuring out my happiness for myself, on my terms, because it's my life and I know I'm worthy of the best. P.S. ~ So are you :) ~Erica
The holidays are near, and feeling obligated to go to events can really drag you down. I used to hate coming up with millions of excuses to get out of things or simply just loathe the experience I knew wasn't best for me. Learning to stand up for yourself by saying "No, but thank you" can transform the quality of happiness. Hope you're week's been going great, two more days until pie! :) ~Erica
Welcome back to another episode :) This one dives into my personal journal entries from a book I've been reading the past few days - "Presence" by Amy Cuddy. I've been working my way through it, taking the necessary time needed to improve in my tough areas. And being present in every moment has been a big one for me. We are each our own little science projects, and we get to choose the direction of our own life. Everyone's path is different, and sometimes these paths cross - so grateful to have this moment to connect with you :) ~Erica
Happy Monday, friends :) Today's episode shares a bit about my cross connections on various social platforms. I'm all about sharing my writing and quotes I find over the years, and I wanted to bring that here for you through this podcast just like I do for everywhere else. It's really important to take time to look inward at our self-esteem and assess the language we're using towards ourselves, whether that be consistent positive or negative self-talk. Our thoughts impact every decision we make, so they might as well be good ones. Hope you enjoy ~Erica
Hey friends :) In this episode, I share the emotions and remembrances of our first Lonely Souls Meetup back on June 27, 2019. When you need something in your life, it's up to you to go out and get it. For me, it was finding and sustaining friendships. I'm grateful to have this community continue its journey of awareness and growing through positive support. And thanks for listening - I wouldn't be where I am without you on the other end :) ~Erica
Cheers to your Wednesday, my friends :) Welcome to the first ever book review for this community! I love to read, and I'm always looking for ways to connect through other people's writing that will soon help to influence my own. Hoping you gain something from this man's powerful language of self-worth and positivity. "Things No One Else Can Teach Us" by Humble the Poet
Hey there friends :) Welcome back to another episode! Today, I share about my path as a student to a teacher to a 'planner for my wedding' to a paper artists to my new current venture in life. You don't owe it to anyone to live a life you're not proud of. It's your life, and you can change its course at any time. Especially when it comes to your career or current job situation - if it's not fueling you it's slowly killing you. Learn to make decisions that are best for your happiness. Enjoy :) ~Erica
Hey there :) Welcome back to another episode where I touch on Gary Vaynerchuck's recent YouTube video with Jay Cardiello - the topics range from the 24 hours within our day and how we choose to spend them, morning routines for success, vulnerability, accountability, and being self aware. There are quite a few connections for me, and I hope you find that for yourself. Hope you're doing well, enjoy ~Erica :)
Happy Tuesday my friends ❄️ It's quite a snowy day out over here! I haven't always been one to accept compliments, but I've started changing my thinking around them. We all deserve to feel good about who we are and the steps we're taking to better ourselves and those around us. In this episode, I share three personal situations related to receiving compliments that have happened within the past month. Hope this brings some connection and inspiration - people are pretty amazing. Enjoy my friends :) ~Erica
Cheers to your Monday, friends :) This episode shares some experiences that happened today while I was out of the house at Luna Coffee Shop & Cafe. Plus, I'm seeking individuals who'd really like to share their story of struggle and success with the world - if this sounds like something you're interested in, hit me up and we can schedule a call! We benefit from genuine human connection, and it helps us not feel like everything terrible in life is only happening to us. Your life is long, so take it day by day and appreciate your life for where you are now :) Have an amazing rest of your day ~Erica
Happy Saturday my friends :) Today's episode highlights one of my deepest truths. Cannabis has been an important tool in the growth of who I've become. I know it's a controversial topic, but isn't all of life? So f*@% it! Hope you see a new perspective and find the truth behind your own self-discovery. Keep an open mind in life - you never know the direction it can lead you. Sending lots of love, have a fabulous day ~Erica

There are endless opportunities to live a life you love. ~Erica
Hey there :) Today's episode really shines a light on how fabulous we all are, even with all the flaws and baggage. We each have our own story, and we truly have the opportunity to bring deeper connection and perspective to other people. And I'm hoping to inspire that within you. You never know who needs your support, leadership, optimism, positivity, empathy - always be YOU in this world! And yes the negativity and haters will be there, but everything they try to tear you down with is just a reflection of their own trash they seriously need to go through. Keep doing your thing, I believe in you. ~Erica"I love you alarm"YouTube: Positively EricaBlog: www.calipoppies.comInstagram: @cali.poppies

Welcome back my friends! This episode really dives into the mindset behind 'selfish to become selfless'. I'd been told my entire life that being selfish is a horrid quality to hold, yet there are so many amazing qualities that are secretly hidden and seen through a new perspective. You deserve time for yourself - you're the most important person in your world, and I believe in you. Start focusing on how miraculous your life is :) ~Erica
