Welcome to #GraceUnfiltered, the podcast for the unworthy, where we remove the filters in life as we reveal God’s grace in all our seasons. Here is a safe space to share our life stories, journeys, affirmations and passion! Our goal and mission is to be online missionaries, to evangelize God's love not by preaching but by living out our faith - our messy, inconsistent and wonderful journey with Christ. God sees through all the filters we put in our lives. No need to pretend. Just come as you are. Let's journey together and live by His grace, unfiltered!
Hi it's Grace, it's been a while and I promise to tell you the story of why it took this long. For now, let me share God's greatest message for me. What does a total surrender look like? The real real surrender?
It's a secret that is almost not a secret because we all know this - NO ONE IS REALLY OKAY. Why does this matter? What do we do?
Today, we talk about my favorite k-drama of ALL TIME and my favorite doctor - Chae Song Hwa! (apologies for the hyper fangirling heh) and what she teaches me about self-love and self-care!
It's a very unsettling feeling - feeling like “hindi naman nila ako mahal katulad nang pagmamahal ko sa kanila.” It feels unfair! But, maybe it's supposed to be that way? Maybe it's because no one can love you like Him, maybe it's a reminder that the only love that does not fail is the one that is on that Cross.
When you pray, do you believe? Do you have faith that God will listen? That He will provide EXACTLY what you need? (Even if it's totally different from what you WANT.) PRAY BY CLAIMING! Claim victory because with God, wala kang talo. You're already God's champion!
Have you ever felt like escaping or just running away from everyone? We've been there - deactivating in social media and just isolating ourselves just to take a breather. When is this healthy? And more importantly, when does this start to break us rather than help us?
When is self-love selfish? Is it? How can we love others if we don't begin within us, right? Today we talk about how we love ourselves (or at least how we try) ;)
In today's episode, #GraceAsks: Who do you belong to? Do you do things out of the desire to be famous? To be praised by people? Or are you doing it for His glory, no matter what people tell you or judge you?
Do we underestimate the power of prayers? More importantly… the power of God? When we pray, do we pray for “Kahit eto lang po.” Have we forgotten that we have a faithful God who has the world in the palm of His hands? When we pray - “Lord, sobrahan mo po.” we are asking Jesus to overflow because when we do, we have no choice but to overflow that blessing and love and grace to the people around us. So pray! “Lord, sobrahan mo po, para sumobra din ako.”
God-given friendships are THE BEST. But how can we grow in them especially now that we're grown ups? How do you keep friends while also adulting?
Happy first birthday in heaven, Papa. We rest easy because we believe that you now rest with our Father. :) I miss you, thank you for believing in me. There's still pain but my wounds are healing knowing yours are already healed by Him. Here's my way of remembering you and never letting your memories and your legacy be forgotten.
A belated birthday gift for my number one fan.
One of my favorite topics back in my youth camp and one of my favorite questions - who is Jesus Christ to me? Do I know Jesus or do I just know of Jesus?
Today, Grace shares a funny and beautiful story about a lady who was strong and firm in her faith that God will save her. Sadly, she didn't recognize the help that God was giving her. Sometimes, we're just like this lady. Sometimes, we pray that God rescues us but then we won't let the people love us to help us. We think - I can do this, God will save me. Today, we pray for the grace to recognize the help that comes from the Lord.
Ever felt so tired - the kind of tired that stays with you when you fall asleep and greets you first thing in the morning? The kind of tired that makes you feel like a lost cause. Well, today Grace reminds us one of Jesus' most powerful words - talitha koum. Arise with Jesus, He's not giving up on you, not yet, not ever.
Today, GraceAsks: why do you pray? Do we pray because we demand our situation to change? Well, what if it doesn't? Does that mean we lack faith or that God doesn't love us anymore? Why do you pray?
Viva San Juan! Today we celebrate the Solemnity of St. John the Baptist - Jesus's beloved cousin, the wonderboy, one of the greatest prophet and preacher and our town's patron saint! Happy fiesta! Today, GraceTalks about what St. John's miraculous birth and life teaches us. We pray for the grace to be like him as we lead people to the path that leads to Jesus.
GraceFilledMorning! It's your friend grace here to remind you to keep your purpose firm and put your trust in the One who knows and loves you and receive the perfect peace that is from the Lord. Have a nice day and remember that someone is rooting for you, praying for you and loving you. We got this! :)
In today's episode, #GraceAsks: Where do you depend your joy? In a life that is difficult and unpredictable, how can my joy be complete?
