In this second episode of the Ezekiel series we discuss the source of God's will to save hopeless sinners. While many would immediately point to His love, mercy, and forgiveness the book of Ezekiel offers us greater clarity. While these aspects are all true God tells Israel that He is not saving them because of anything they have done to deserve it but rather because of His names sake or HIS GLORY. This session should be one that challenges our own pride and ego as we are overwhelmed by a holy God that is nothing like us. How have you seen remembering God's faithfulness strengthen your faith during difficult seasons? 2. God tells Israel they will eat but not be satisfied. Have you ever experienced the emptiness of seeking satisfaction apart from God? What did you learn from that experience? 3. What stands out most to you about God's character in these verses? 4. How does knowing that God has cast your sins into the depths of the sea affect the way you view your past failures?
