Want a simple strategy that will double your sales? One that requires no additional skills or talent? I'm not exaggerating. If you're paying for leads and you're not already aware, this will be the most valuable podcast you've listened to all year.
Have an idea or tip? Send us a text! What if the problem isn't your logo, but the foundation under it? We sit down with brand strategist Jessica Adanich to explore how real positioning, consistent visuals, and honest storytelling turn a business from forgettable to first choice. Adanich's journey from sculpture and glass blowing to leading marketing at Mace, then launching Design Pod Studio, sets the stage for clear, field-tested advice: Branding is the sum of every touchpoint, not a mark on a shirt. We dig into the brand discovery process—questions that force owners to name their five and ten-year goals, define target audiences, and pinpoint which aesthetics actually fit. Adanich shares a candid misstep about launching with a clever but confusing agency name, then rebuilding for clarity. From there, she maps how to move from transactions to experiences: packaging that earns price, photography that signals authenticity, and customer responses that build trust. If you want to charge more for a bar of soap or a specialty product, the unboxing, the booth, and the email all matter. Consumers are sharp; they spot stock photos and AI artifacts. Original images and a consistent tone of voice are no longer optional.Adanich explains how to articulate your purple cow—the differentiator that justifies your price and attracts the right buyers—then proves it with a case study of a niche recoil pad brand that scaled by aligning product, visuals, and content. On tech, she's pragmatic: AI and templates are tools, not strategy. Keep the human taste, use the tools to move faster, and make brand decisions with intent. Along the way, we cover email cadence that respects the inbox, how to test legacy tactics without sinking the budget, and why comparison is the thief of joy in marketing.MediaclipMediaclip strives to continuously enhance the user experience while dramatically increasing revenue.Buzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEIndependent Photo ImagersIPI is a member + trade association and a cooperative buying group in the photo + print industry.Photo Imaging CONNECTThe Photo Imaging CONNECT conference, March 1-2, 2026, at the RIO Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas, NDisclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Today's shout-out goes to Bill McKenna from Allentown, PA. Your commitment through Project23 helps deliver God's Word daily with clarity and conviction. This one's for you. Our text today is Judges 14:5-6 Then Samson went down with his father and mother to Timnah, and they came to the vineyards of Timnah. And behold, a young lion came toward him roaring. Then the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and although he had nothing in his hand, he tore the lion in pieces as one tears a young goat. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done. — Judges 14:5-6 Picture the scene: Samson's on his way to Timnah, strolling through a vineyard, when suddenly a lion leaps out with a roar. A man barehanded against a lion? Not a fair fight. But here's the game-changer: "The Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him." Samson's strength wasn't in his biceps. It wasn't in his willpower. It was the Spirit of God filling him, empowering him to do what no man could do alone. Here's what you need to know today: you are weaker than you think, but God's Spirit is stronger than you imagine. We face lions of our own—temptation, fear, depression, conflict at work, struggles in marriage. And most of us try to muscle through with grit, discipline, or positivity. But raw willpower always runs out. God never meant for you to fight alone. What made Samson different wasn't his muscles—it was God's might. And that same Spirit now lives in every believer. It lives in you. You might feel weak. But weakness is the very place where God shows his might. Trust his power not your willpower. ASK THIS: Where are you trying to face life's lions in your own strength? When was the last time you leaned on God's Spirit instead of willpower? What might change if you truly believed the Spirit lives in you? How do you need to invite the Spirit into your battles today? DO THIS: Identify one "lion" you're facing this week. Stop and pray specifically: "Holy Spirit, fill me for this battle." Read 2 Corinthians 12:9 and commit it to memory. Each morning this week, start your day by declaring, "I fight with the Spirit, not my strength." PRAY THIS: Holy Spirit, I admit I'm weak on my own. Fill me with Your power today. Help me face the lions in my life with the strength that only comes from You. Amen. PLAY THIS: "Same Power."

When passion meets perseverance, magic happens. This week on SportsLifeTalk's You Got Next, we bring you the inspiring journey of a family that's redefining the culture of women's basketball — Coach Bryan Dickerson and his daughter, Coach Erin Dickerson Davis. Together, they've turned a shared love for the game into a generational legacy that's touching lives from grassroots gyms to Division I arenas. For more than two decades, Coach Bryan Dickerson has been the heart and soul of youth basketball. As a volunteer coach, he's helped shape hundreds of athletes, guiding many to college scholarships — all while staying true to his love for the game. His success with Team Takeover — one of the nation's most respected AAU programs — includes two national championships and countless stories of young players realizing their dreams. But no victory compares to coaching his daughter, Erin.“I coached her hard,” Bryan admits. “But it made her tough.”That toughness turned Coach Erin Dickerson Davis into a trailblazer. Now the head coach at William & Mary, she's making history — leading the program to its first-ever 20-win season and becoming the winningest coach in school history.“I wanted to be the coach I wish I had,” Erin says. “That's what drives me every single day.”Coaching your own child isn't easy. Bryan had to find the balance between pushing and protecting. And Erin? She had to learn to separate “Coach” from “Dad.”She laughs about it now — but back then, those moments built resilience. The nickname “E.T.,” short for Every Time, came from her dependable shot in high school. That consistency, that confidence — it's carried her through every chapter of her career. After graduating from Northwestern, Erin passed up corporate job offers to chase her dream of coaching — a decision that even made her dad pause at first. But once he saw her purpose and passion in motion, he knew she was born for this. The Dickersons have seen it all — the wins, the heartbreaks, and everything in between. Their advice for parents, players, and coaches? Keep basketball fun.

Why are your deals ghosting you after a great first meeting? Because you missed the crucial step: securing the next meeting while the energy is high. Elite sales pros understand that buying decisions are more emotional than logical. Ditch the generic, fact-based questions and opt for evocative, storytelling prompts. Try this instead: Don't ask, "What's your biggest pain point?" Ask, "What is that one thing in your business that truly makes you want to pull your hair out?" This question bypasses logic, elicits a story, and reveals the emotional stakes you need to solve. Lee Salz - https://salesarchitects.com/
Armon, Will Foster, and Miss2Bees are back after some time apart. Miss2Bees debuts her new segment What's Buzzing on These Streets, calling out Tory Lanez's own appeal filings as an effective admission in the Megan Thee Stallion case and unpacking how legal journalism and misinformation are failing the culture (3:40), before the team revisits Omarion vs. Mario, live vocals, and early-2000s R&B egos (9:40). They then dive into “Rory-Gate,” resurfaced tweets, Twitter Spaces damage control, and what the saga reveals about anti-Blackness and how Black women are routinely targeted (16:38). Next, a deep breakdown of the 2026 GRAMMY nominations across Hip-Hop, R&B, Album and Song of the Year, touching Bad Bunny's run, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Cardi B and Gunna snubs, Mariah the Scientist discourse, and how kids shape the charts (31:58). From there, the gang reviews new music—Cardi B, Latto & Jeezy's “Everytime” remix and whether it should've been on the original album (55:19), Meek Mill's Indie Pack Vol. 1 and his “Fourth of July” visual, hood PTSD, and AI chains (57:40), Summer Walker's Finally Over It trilogy finale and where it ranks next to Over It and Still Over It (1:06:45), plus Wale's everything is a lot., his immigrant-parent text thread, catalog, and longevity (1:13:28). In this week's Board Meeting, Armon opens up about being laid off in the VIBE/Rolling Stone merger and uses that to examine media consolidation, Black writers and label staff being cut, DEI rollbacks, lazy A&R, AI artists, the death of discovery, and what a return to Black-run boutique systems could look like (1:22:25). Will then introduces his new discovery segment, spotlighting rising Southern-rooted artist Gabriel Jacoby and why his warm, live-instrument, Sunday-clean-the-house soul feels like the kind of music listeners can really connect to right now (1:50:16). A behavioral expert who trains Navy SEALs and CIA operatives created a 20-point test that detects psychological manipulation with mathematical precision. Chase Hughes recently appeared on Shawn Ryan's podcast to discuss this system, and the same patterns appear in government propaganda, corporate deception, and social media algorithms. From a teenage girl's testimony that sold the Gulf War to Big Tobacco's forty-year lie, the scoring system reveals when you're being controlled. The formula works on anything—news coverage, corporate messaging, even the controversies you're arguing about right now. But once you learn to spot manipulation everywhere, you face a different danger. Foreign adversaries benefit when Americans trust nothing and question everything so intensely they can't function. The tool shows you how information is delivered. Deciding what's true is still your job. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X46H1dEADJU
DescriptionTrue confession - I am often in search of the perfect talk. Like Bigfoot, I know it's out there, I catch a glimpse every once in a while, but just when I think I'm hot on the trail and figuring it out - it eludes me. But is that what we are really after? The perfect talk? Not only is there likely no such thing, but even if there was - what if told you that that brief prayer time at the end of your talk might be what REALLY matters. Jonathan's book, My Money Journey, features 30 real stories from real people who built financial freedom—and the lessons are surprisingly simple (which doesn't mean easy). In this conversation, Jonathan breaks down what separated the people who made it from the people who kept spinning their wheels: steady habits, ruthless simplicity, and the kind of resilience that lets you keep going when life throws curveballs. From emergency funds that actually saved people to the rent vs. buy debate that reveals more about your priorities than your budget, this conversation cuts through the complexity to show you what actually matters. Jonathan's wisdom feels even more valuable now—a reminder that the best financial advice isn't about chasing trends, it's about building a life that works for you. Joe and OG also tackle listener questions, including whether to relocate for a better job and how to balance saving for tomorrow without sacrificing today. Plus: Doug's trivia, a Key & Peele-inspired TikTok minute, and proof that the best financial teachers leave lessons that last long after they're gone. What You'll Walk Away With: • The money habits that showed up in almost every success story from Jonathan's book (spoiler: none of them are sexy) • Why simplicity beats complexity in investing—and how to stop overcomplicating your portfolio • The rent vs. buy question reframed: it's not just about math, it's about what kind of life you want • How to balance aggressive investing with the safety net you actually need (not the one Instagram tells you to have) • Why emergency funds and health insurance are the unsexy heroes of every financial success story • What "margin for error" really means—and why it's the difference between surviving setbacks and being destroyed by them This Episode Is For You If: • You're tired of chasing the next "hot" investment strategy and want to know what actually works • You feel like everyone else has figured out money except you (spoiler: they haven't) • You want to hear real stories from real people, not just theory from talking heads • You're trying to balance living well now with saving for later—and feeling stuck in the middle • You believe the best teachers are the ones whose lessons outlive them Deeper dives with curated links, topics, and discussions are in our newsletter, The 201, available at https://www.stackingbenjamins.com/201 Enjoy! I'm honored to sit down with my long-time friend, Matt Williams. Matt's favorite verse is Galatians 2:20, which says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” That verse really captures Matt's heart and his story—a journey from striving to surrender, from self-effort to Spirit-led living. Today, we're going to talk about success and failure, and what it truly means to walk with God in Christ.Aren't you glad we're not defined by our past? Matt and I have both lived enough life to know that we all have stories—some we'd like to rewrite and others that show just how faithful God really is. Romans reminds us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but the beauty of the gospel is that our story doesn't end there. We're not chasing perfection; we're pursuing progress. Hebrews 12:1-2 reminds us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. That's exactly what Matt has learned to do—through triumphs, trials, and everything in between.I still remember getting a call from Matt one night around 9:30, maybe six years ago. That conversation marked the beginning of a deeper friendship, one built on honesty, grace, and the shared desire to let Christ shape our stories. Matt grew up with incredible parents who modeled love, hard work, and perseverance. But like all of us, he's had his share of ups and downs—times of success and moments of failure, from real estate wins to personal struggles, from being a police officer to becoming a loan officer, and now serving as a COO and public speaker. Through it all, Matt has discovered that pain is often the great teacher—and that God's mercy truly is new every morning. We're also going to have a little fun today. If you know Matt, you know he loves deer hunting. I can already hear him saying, “Call the taxidermist!”—a phrase that means more than just bagging a buck; it's about celebrating victories, large or small. But beyond the hunts and highlights, Matt's story is about how God rescued him. Like the prodigal son, he once roamed aimlessly, but found his way home through grace. He's learned how to raise his kids with humility, to embrace his failures as lessons, and to live for Christ—not by following rules, but by following relationship.Matt Williams is a man who's walked through pain, learned from it, and turned it into purpose. From regret to redemption, from brokenness to leadership, his life reminds us that no matter where the wheels fell off, God can rebuild the story for His glory. Today, we'll talk legacy—what it means to finish well, love deeply, and live like Galatians 2:20 is true. So grab your coffee, settle in, and let's dive into an honest, hopeful conversation about faith, failure, and the freedom we find in Christ._ _ _For more stories like this, go to: https://www.youtube.com/@BuddyJamesPuckettIf you or someone you know want to be on the podcast, please reach out to me on Instagram @conversationswithbuddy or text me at 503-851-8031. _ _ _About Buddy Puckett:Buddy Puckett has been in the mortgage and finance space and mentoring men for over 25 years. We all are 1 decision away from something really dumb, so accountability became something Buddy knew he needed as well. Karim Harbott: Why System Design Beats Individual Coaching Every Time Read the full Show Notes and search through the world's largest audio library on Agile and Scrum directly on the Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast website: http://bit.ly/SMTP_ShowNotes. "You can't change people, but you can change the system. Change the environment, not the people." - Karim Harbott Karim was coaching a distributed team that was struggling with defects appearing constantly during sprints. The developers and testers were at different sites, and communication seemed fractured. But Karim knew from experience that when teams are underperforming, the problem usually isn't the people—it's the system they're working in. He stepped back to examine the broader context, implementing behavior-driven development(BDD) and specification by example to improve clarity through BDD scenarios. But the defects persisted. Then, almost by accident, Karim discovered the root cause: the developers and testers were employed by different companies. They had competing interests, different incentives, and fundamentally misaligned goals. No amount of coaching the individuals would fix a structural problem like that. It took months, but eventually the system changed—developers and testers were reorganized into unified teams from the same organization. Suddenly, the defects dropped dramatically. As Jocko Willink writes in Extreme Ownership, when something isn't working, look at the system first. Karim's experience proves that sometimes the most compassionate thing you can do is stop trying to fix people and start fixing the environment they work in. Self-reflection Question: When your team struggles, do you look at the people or at the system they're embedded in? Featured Book of the Week: Scaling Lean and Agile Development by Craig Larman and Bas Vodde "This book was absolute gold. The way it is written, and the tools they talk about went beyond what I was talking about back then. They introduced many concepts that I now use." - Karim Harbott Karim discovered Scaling Lean and Agile Development by accident, but it resonated with him immediately. The concepts Craig Larman and Bas Vodde introduced—particularly around LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum)—went far beyond the basics Karim had been working with. The book opened his eyes to system-level thinking at scale, showing how to maintain agility even as organizations grow. It's packed with practical tools and frameworks that Karim still uses today. For anyone working beyond a single team, this book provides the depth and nuance that most scaling frameworks gloss over. Also worth reading: User Stories Applied by Mike Cohn, another foundational text that shaped Karim's approach to working with teams. [The Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast Recommends]

"Mediocrity works fine until it meets passion" says a favorite sign on the wall of this week's guest, on for the third time, Jenny Levy. Everytime she joins us we are blown away by what she shares. This week is no exception. Jenny is a 4x NCAA champion coach for the University of North Carolina Women's lacrosse program, including winning the 2025 championship. She is a 3x NCAA coach of the year, 8x ACC coach of the year, former Team USA head coach, and both the National and International Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee. Heading into 2026 she has 443 wins (2nd all time) and has led the Tar Heels to 14 Final Fours. What makes Jenny most special, however, is her curiosity and authentic, relationship based leadership model. This week she shares with us the importance of failing forward as part of the Tar Heel culture, how she recruits players who are a good fit for the program, and how the selfish players get spit out if they do not become players who learn to give to the team. We discuss the importance of building relationships through casual conversations rather than long meetings, how winning is a by product of the journey, and so much more. Episode Description:What's scarier than Halloween a week early? Police in Pennsylvania finding cocaine in a kid's trick-or-treat bag—and someone out there is panicking over their missing Reese's swap. On today's Sandy Show, Sandy McIlree and Tricia unpack the wildest Halloween headlines, from New York City's crown as the #1 trick-or-treat town (thanks to walkability, candy stores, and zero doorman full-size bars) to Jerry Seinfeld's timeless rant: “Bing bong, come on lady—let's pick up the pace!” But the heart-stealer? 95-year-old Frank Ures Jr., who launched a 100-member Taylor Swift fan club at his Omaha retirement home—complete with walker license plates, sponsorship rules, and a plea for Taylor to “please come see us.” (Travis Kelce's permission required for hugs.)Meanwhile, 13-year-old Kevin Tang just won $25,000 as America's Top Young Scientist for Fall Guard—an AI camera that auto-calls 911 when grandma falls, no button needed. Inspired by tragedy, built by a middle-schooler.Tricia earns the Gold Star for defining the hobo hierarchy: “A hobo is a traveling bum.” Sandy drops Big Mac origin bombs (started as The Aristocrat—too bougie, renamed twice), and the duo debates why that orange marshmallow peanut is the ultimate Halloween red flag.Notable Quotes:“Someone's out there holding a Reese's instead of their baggie of cocaine.” – Sandy“I'd give Taylor a hug—with Travis Kelce's permission.” – Frank Ures Jr., 95“Bing bong, come on lady—18 houses on this block alone!” – Jerry SeinfeldCall-to-Action:Don't miss the full chaos—search The Sandy Show on your podcast app RIGHT NOW. Form 1099-K applies to individuals who earn money through gig work or sell goods online. Third-party settlement organizations (TPSOs)—including platforms such as Amazon, eBay, PayPal, and Venmo - must send copies of the form to both the IRS and taxpayers, detailing the total payments received for goods and services. Return to the Pre-2021 Standard Before 2021, TPSOs were required to issue a Form 1099-K only if a seller received more than $20,000 and conducted at least 200 transactions during the year. The 2021 American Rescue Plan Act lowered that threshold to $600, triggering widespread criticism from taxpayers and digital-payment platforms who warned the rule would swamp casual sellers with unnecessary paperwork. The IRS initially attempted to phase in the lower limit—proposing $5,000 for 2024, $2,500 for 2025, and $600 from 2026 onward—but the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed by President Donald Trump on July 4, permanently repealed those reductions. As a result, TPSOs are again only required to issue Form 1099-K if both of the following are true: The gross payments to a payee exceed $20,000, and The number of transactions exceeds 200.
