This is promo for our upcoming bombshell episode where we present facts and continue speaking the truth. There is another platform that has resorted to telling lies and spreading false information. They have decided to play very dirty on social media and release private conversations, very publicly, without context and without any sort or a privacy filter. They have resorted to character assassination and lies to try to discredit us and make themselves look good. At HalalEats Podcast, truth will ALWAYS prevail. We know we are telling the truth, we know we are being honest, and quite frankly, we have plenty of proof to back it up. We don't make up stories or tell lies at HalalEats Podcast, however, clearly, this other group does. We give you the proof WITH CONTEXT. We play the FULL VIDEO, not just what was said in the first 5 minutes of an hour-long conversation. We are TRANSPARENT and WE HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE. Gloves are off, we will expose all. Stay tuned!
This is our FINAL EPISODE for SEASON 1! That's right! A HUGE MILESTONE! In this, we talk about our incredible journey during the HalalEats Podcast. We talk about 'The Good', 'The Bad', and 'The Ugly' side of the industry and the community. We bring attention to the the controversial things because its a conversation that needs to be had. If we don't, who will? But we also humble ourselves. We take a step back and rethink a few things. Over the past few months, we've gotten some amazing feedback, the good, the bad, and the ugly feedback. And we wouldn't be human if we didn't make mistakes of our own, but we will always set an example and own up to them. And yes, we also chocked up at one point on this episode, we are human beings, we get emotional. We have a heart. But more importantly, we learned and we matured. And we see the impact our platform is making in this industry and Alhamdulillah, it is huge. So thank you to all of you for listening to us, regularly. We created this platform to help everyone, bring everyone together and sit on the same table. Have a respectful discussion, find solutions, and right the wrongs. We'll get there, Insha'Allah!
This may be the most boring episode yet! I dosed off twice trying to listen to it. However, it is a very important episode for us. Why? Because this is a follow up to our episode 19. We needed to clarify a few things, so this is it. I hope it answers all your questions! We strictly talk about a conversation we had with an admin of another food group. We give our thoughts on the discussion, and the challenges we face - trying to bring some accountability to a group that was, otherwise, never questioned in the past. Listen in!
Updated Description: In this episode, we talk about how a food blogger, with a big following, should approach a newly opened restaurant. Sure, they invited you, but they expect proper feedback. They expect constructive criticism, on the spot, not from behind the computer. And you, as a food blogger with a lot of following, understand the impact your words or posts can make on a restaurant, so even if they insist on letting you post a review, educate them by telling them that you shouldn’t because it’s too early. Because if you don’t like it, it can hurt their business. At the end of the day, the food bloggers have to be mindful of that and make sure they don’t hurt a restaurant, regardless of what intentions that restaurant had or didn’t have.

In this episode, we discuss something we’ve always wanted to talk about but didn’t have a proper way to doing it. Unfortunately, the issue of consistency, the lack there of, exists in many halal establishments. But we talk about how restaurants can fix this issue, and we name a few restaurants that have done a great job with consistency. There is no surprise that, those who have, are known as one of the best in the business. Listen in for some incredible advice on how to solve this extremely important issue! Also, we take a look back at our last few episodes and rethink our approach a little bit. We do have a confession to make, and we are not ashamed to say it. Take a listen!
We sat down with Brother Abdullah of Eatzy Thai and Backyard Braii by Eatzy, located at 33-09 Broadway, Queens, NY 11106. Abdullah is one of the nicest and most humble guys we’ve ever met. It was a pleasure speaking with him and a privilege being able to sit down with him. This interview really opened our eyes and solidified our goal with HalalEats Podcast. We wanted to establish a platform where anyone can speak out and get a fair shake. Anyone can speak out against those who do wrong and take advantage of other people. We wanted to highlight those in the community that have been more than upstanding figures and an important part of our communities. Abdullah fits that description, perfectly. He does so much for our community and unfortunately, others didn’t give him that respect in return. But we are here to let it be known. He deserves to be respected. He should be respected. Slowly, but surely, we will bring accountability back to our community. And we will expose all those who do it wrong. We will expose all those who take advantage of other people.
