Tijdens zijn tochten komt hij oog in oog te staan met dolfijnen, ziet hij zeehonden van dichtbij en ervaart hij hoe bijzonder én kwetsbaar de natuur is. Die ontmoetingen maken zijn missie alleen maar sterker. Volgens Tinga is de belangrijkste boodschap die hij mee wilt geven niet dat de strijd tegen plastic soep eenvoudig is, maar dat verandering wel degelijk mogelijk is. Zijn eigen verhaal bewijst dat een individuele burger politieke doorbraken kan forceren, bedrijven in beweging kan krijgen en zelfs internationale aandacht kan trekken.

Dès 2013, le duo met un pied dans le Business de la Bouffe avec Graine, l'un des premiers concepts de « fast couscous » à Paris, qui modernise un plat traditionnel avec les codes du fast casual. Pendant le Covid, leur modèle bascule vers les dark kitchens et plusieurs marques en livraison, dont ils mesurent vite les limites.
