'Transforming Our Schools' is an inter-disciplinary lecture series from architects and educationalists. The lecture series was funded by Universitas 21 seed funding grant to establish a Centre for School Design Research.

Alan Dale is an experienced schools architect working both for local authority and in private practice. He has recently been working as a design advisor for Building Schools for the Future programmes in the North West, South London and Islington and is preparing a book on school design which summ
