Janet CarrollCreative Free WheelerJanet is a long time Chilliwack resident and retired employee of the Chilliwack School District #33. Steve has been a part of martial arts for nearly all of his life. A long time serving RCMP member and advocate of youth and adults learning to protect themselves, Steve has become a figure head in our community. He inspires youth and adults through self defence teaching, while giving them confidence, respect and real world skills.

Rene is a fascinating guy. During the day he's an environmental analyst doing various water mapping around the province and after work, he's an outdoor adventurer. He's skied all over the world, but loves to be at home in Chilliwack. He also is brand ambassador for a number of different companies and just an all around great guy.

The 2 Kennedy Sisters are long time Chilliwack residents and have discovered their passion for online content. They've been working towards building their channels and following online with their wine tasting videos they post, every Wednesday, and have been doing for over 2 years.

Trevor is a renowned local entertainer in Chilliwack. Having played through the local club scene, in the Copper Room of the famous Harrison Hot Springs Hotel and now community advocate and entertainer, Trevor is a multifaceted, long term Chilliwack resident that brings a lot to this community.

Clint Hames is a long time resident of the Chilliwack area. He's spent many years running as local councillor and mayor, plus he's spent countless years involved with various parts of the local theatre (from music to directing and more).

The Book Man has been in the business of selling used books for more than two decades. Aside from his thrill and passion in finding used books, David has travelled the world over and lived an exciting, story-filled life. Sarah is a local photographer, visual artist and student, looking to get her Masters in Counselling. Long time Chilliwack resident and passion for all things 80's, Sarah blends her talent behind the camera with her ability to see the stories being told in peoples lives. You could find Sarah on any kind of shoot from pets, to pin-up models, family portraits and more. She brings a unique eye and outlook to what's happening in Chilliwack.

Scott is a local entrepreneur and farmer from Flavourful Farms. Scott made some big life changing decisions that brought him down the path of regenerative farming and micro-commerce. He's an inspiring individual that has passion for local business, healthy eating and improving his community.

Local businessman and entrepreneur, Tim McAlpine has been perfecting his craft and learning about specialization in marketing since he started his first business in 1990. With a passion for credit unions and financial education for young people, Tim is a pillar in the business community of Chilliwack. He also is a board member with CEPCO and a number of other groups.

Media and Communications Studies Instructor at UFV in Chilliwack, Darren is a diverse and interesting guy. Darren has a unique outlook on pop culture, university studies and the community of Chilliwack. Long time resident and total metal head, Darren is a must-listen-to kind of guy.

Head reporter for the Chilliwack Times, Paul has been involved in various sections of the Times for just over a decade. Passionate for quality home cooked food and maker of DIY ping pong tables, Paul brings a unique and polarizing view to Chilliwack and its news.

The unstoppable duo and long standing friendship that is known as Emily & Pauline, or Pauline & Emily, makes up a lot of the live theatre you'll see in Chilliwack. Having met both of them through theatre, Matt has seen first hand the passion, knowledge and experience these two bring to the theatre arts in Chilliwack.

John Martin was elected MLA for Chilliwack on May 14, 2013. He was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations on January 20, 2016. Prior to his election to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, John worked as a criminologist and faculty member in the School of Criminology at University of the Fraser Valley.

Ron has become a business fixture in downtown Chilliwack with his Decades Coffee Club. Aside from coffee, Ron has a list of other entrepreneurial accomplishments, including his most recent success as a local realtor with Century 21.

Shannon has been involved in our local historical and archival work for a number of years. Listening to her talk about the history of Chilliwack, our local buildings, streets and families, it's not hard to see her passion for the work she does.

Jason is a long time resident and advocate for the city of Chilliwack. He's a small business owner and closet nerd. His passion for the people and communities that make up Chilliwack is clearly evident through his desire to run twice, and get elected both times, for city council.
