Talkin’ Frogs
Well, we had to record a second take, again. In this episode, Jacob, Ray, and Martin discuss the weekend of games in Stillwater while trying to cope with another Tuesday loss that literally just happened while recording. Martin also talks some Avengers, Ray gets distracted and Jacob gets stuck in the bathroom for 30 minutes. Cheers!
And just like that, the Frogs are back on track. After a weekend sweep of the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the Frogs sit second in the Big 12 and are only 1/2 a game behind the Oklahoma State Cowboys. In this episode, we discuss when went right this weekend (spoiler: everything) and we look ahead to a massive weekend in Stillwater. Also: Ray is very drunk
Look it wasn't a good week. Not only was it a bad week on the field, it was a bad week in the studio. This is our second take recording this episode and its low energy, repetitive and a good episode to nap through. We'll be back on our game next week. Go Frogs
Tweet at us if you actually read these. They're very boring to write and I will pay you $5 to do it if you write a good one.
Well, it's been a week. It is about 2 am and the Frogs' basketball team just lost a heartbreaker to Arizona in the second round of the NCAA tournament. We had unfortunate technical difficulties in the studio and had to record this episode separately in our own homes. As Jacob pointed out, "Its just not the same when I'm not getting vaped in the face. This weekend, some of the LDC crew went down to Waco to support Frogball and, on Friday, found out that Baylor has a dry stadium. Don't worry. We adapted for the Saturday game and became the Lupton Prohibition Club.
This weekend the Frogs (respectfully) obliterated Army's franchise. However, despite the sweep, it wasn't always easy for TCU. We talk about the week that was, the upcoming series vs. Baylor, Ray's vape addiction and a pair of National Championships that recently came home to Fort Worth.
Well, we were going to lose a series eventually. Episode 4 of Postgame Beers dives into the series loss at Kentucky, what it means and where we go from here. We also shoutout ADJD, Ian Sadler, Beach Volleyball, Frogs Today and whoever runs the GoFrogs stats uploads.
A special thank you to Saarloos and Sons for the mics which will be used starting next week. In this episode, we discuss TCU's 4-0 week, the upcoming games vs. UTA and at Kentucky. Go Frogs!
Recapping opening weekend - both on and off the field in Scottsdale.
The Lupton Drinking Club. Who are we? Where did we come from? And what do we think about the 2022 TCU Baseball team? Listen to find out. Cheers!
