Daniel serves up questions to one of his sports heroes, fellow UCF alum and Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist Phil Dalhausser.

Normalerweise dreht sich bei Spielmacher alles um Fußball – um Leidenschaft, Teamgeist und Erfolgsgeschichten auf und neben dem Platz. Doch diesmal gehen wir einen Schritt weiter: Wir sprechen mit Menschen, die bewegen, gestalten und inspirieren. Menschen, bei denen Sport, Unternehmertum und Neugier auf neue Wege treffen. Zu Gast ist Nils Glagau, Unternehmer, Investor und CEO von Orthomol – einer, der Gesundheit lebt, Machergeist verkörpert und jeden Tag mit Neugier angeht. „Langeweile kenne ich nicht – dafür gibt es zu viele spannende Dinge. Und wenn sie doch mal da ist, entsteht daraus oft etwas Neues.“ Glagau spricht über seine Leidenschaft für Bewegung – vom Beachvolleyball über Tennis bis hin zu seiner neuen Begeisterung für Padel, die Trendsportart, die in Spanien längst zum Lebensgefühl gehört. Für ihn ist Padel mehr als nur Sport: ein Ort der Begegnung, des Teamspirits und der Energie. „Nur eine Halle bauen und die voll machen, das wäre mir zu langweilig. Es geht darum, dem Sport auf einer ganz anderen Ebene zu begegnen.“ Im Gespräch erzählt er, wie er als 33-Jähriger die Verantwortung für Orthomol übernahm, welche Rolle sein Vater auf diesem Weg spielte und warum er es liebt, Menschen, Start-ups und Ideen freizusetzen. Stillstand kennt er nicht – Bewegung ist für ihn Haltung und Lebenseinstellung. Ob bei Expeditionen in Guatemala, beim Lernen neuer Sportarten oder im Aufbau innovativer Projekte: Nils Glagau sucht den Tiefgang. Er denkt ganzheitlich, bleibt neugierig und will gestalten – nicht nur für heute, sondern für die nächsten Generationen. Eine Folge über Gesundheit, Machergeist und die Kraft, immer wieder neu zu starten – mit einem Gast, der zeigt, dass Spielfreude weit über den Fußball hinausgeht.

„Wir müssen uns eine Lieferantenbasis in den USA aufbauen“: Das sagt Mirko Heinze, COO von der DAS Environemental Expert GmbH. Das Unternehmen ist in der Umwelttechnologie-Branche weltweit unterwegs, bei der Reinigung von Schadgasen in der Halbleiterindustrie sowie der Wasserbehandlung, also realisiert die Reinigung industrieller Abwässer. Und muss sich mit dem amerikanischen Präsidenten und dessen Zöllen auseinander setzen. Wie Mirko Heinze in den IMMOBILÈROS-Podcast kommt? Das Firmengelände besteht aus einer Bestandsumwidmung, kombiniert mit Neubau und einem Parkplatz mit einem besonderen Untergrund. In Zusammenarbeit mit Goldbeck baute DAS das Headquarter um, gewann den Brownfield-Award. Ein Investment bisher von 36 Millionen Euro. Zweiter Grund, warum Mirko Heinze bei mir zu Gast war: DAS hat das Headquarter in Dresden, also meiner Heimatstadt. Das allein würde schon reichen, nun aber im Ernst: Die Firma ist ein Hidden Champion, 1991 gegründet, 1.000 Mitarbeiter weltweit, 500 davon in Dresden, mit Lieferanten zum Großteil aus Sachsen, in 45 Ländern unterwegs, die größte Niederlassung in Taiwan hat 300 Mitarbeiter. Genau diese Unternehmen finden – meine Meinung – viel zu wenig Beachtung. Ich will meinen Teil dazu beitragen, dass genau das anders wird. Zudem ist das 50.000 Quadratmeter große Grundstück voller toller Dinge, über die wir sprechen: Über den Pool, der nicht einfach zum Baden da ist, sondern zur Forschung dient – Badespaß inklusive. Über Beachvolleyball, das Gym, den Koch-, Lauf-, Fotoclub und noch viele andere mehr, gemeinsame Feste und wie man ein so großes Team weltumspannend zum gemeinsamen Wanderausflug bekommt. Im Podcast unterschlägt Mirko Heinze auch, dass er für das Water Treatment verantwortlich ist, erwähnt nicht, dass die Niederlassungen in Argentinien und Peru aufbaute und sich intensiv mit Kreislaufwirtschaft beschäftigt. Das wäre hiermit erledigt.
