In Part 2 of Murder: True Crime Stories, host Carter Roy follows Andrew Cunanan's cross-country killing spree from Minneapolis to Miami Beach. After murdering two men he knew personally, Andrew killed a wealthy Chicago real estate developer and a New Jersey cemetery worker before driving south to Florida, where he spent two months hiding in plain sight just miles from Gianni Versace's Ocean Drive mansion. On the morning of July 15th, 1997, Gianni stepped out for magazines and coffee. He never made it back through his front door. What followed was a massive manhunt, an eight-day standoff that ended on a houseboat, and a death that left every question about motive unanswered. Andrew Cunanan took his reasons with him, but Gianni's legacy endured through the sister who refused to let it die.Head over to our Murder True Crime Stories YouTube channel to WATCH our video episodes: https://www.youtube.com/@MurderTrueCrimeStoriesJoin Crime House+ to binge a special limited series on Murder: True Crime Stories for America's 250th: The Crimes That Built America. Today's Poll Question at Smerconish.com: Will the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie ever be solved? Five months after the 84-year-old mother of Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie vanished from her Arizona home, investigators still have no suspect, no arrest, and no clear explanation. Michael examines the baffling case, from blood discovered at the scene and the mysterious “porch guy” captured on camera to ransom messages, conflicting law-enforcement accounts, and Savannah Guthrie's emotional public appeal for answers. In an age of smartphones, surveillance cameras, DNA databases, and digital footprints, how can a case like this remain unsolved? Michael explores the evidence, the unanswered questions, and whether justice is still possible. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. What if your greatest leadership achievement isn't what you accomplish yourself - but the leaders you develop who continue multiplying long after you're gone? In this episode of Leaders of Transformation, Nicole Jansen welcomes back leadership development expert and bestselling author Mac Lake to discuss his latest book, Super Multiplier. What does it take to build a leadership legacy that extends far beyond your own influence? Mac reveals how great leaders intentionally develop leaders who go on to develop other leaders – creating a multiplication effect that can impact organizations for generations. Drawing from decades of experience building leadership pipelines, Mac shares the mindset shifts and practical habits leaders need to intentionally develop others and create a culture of multiplication. Together, Nicole and Mac explore why most leadership development efforts fail, the hidden beliefs that prevent leaders from investing in others, and how to identify and unlock the potential already sitting within your organization. Whether you're leading a business, ministry, nonprofit, or team, this conversation will challenge you to think beyond leadership training and embrace leadership multiplication that lasts for generations. What We Discuss in this Episode Why leadership gaps are solved by developing people, not simply finding people The hidden mindsets that prevent leaders from developing others Why most organizations rely on the ineffective "wait and hope" leadership strategy The difference between leadership training and leadership transformation Why mindset must change before skill set can change How limiting beliefs hold emerging leaders back from reaching their potential What it means to "mine for the gold" in people How great leaders identify and cultivate strengths in others Lessons from Jesus' model of leadership development and multiplication Why leadership multiplication is more powerful than leadership addition How to develop leaders who can develop other leaders Why leadership development requires intentionality more than time Practical ways to develop leaders during everyday work activities How modeling, practice, and debriefing accelerate leadership growth Why failure is one of the greatest tools for leadership development The 4T Framework: Think, Try, Talk, and Train How leaders can continue growing by building on their strengths The importance of creating a replicable leadership development process What it means to build leadership four generations deep How to create a lasting leadership legacy within your organization Highlights 00:00 – Why Leadership Development Often Fails 02:30 – Leadership Gaps Aren't Solved by Finding People 06:00 – The Mindsets That Limit Leadership Multiplication 10:00 – Why Mindset Comes Before Skill Set 13:00 – The Problem with the "Wait and Hope" Strategy 16:00 – Leadership Training vs. Leadership Transformation 20:00 – Mining for the Gold in People 24:00 – What Jesus Teaches Us About Developing Leaders 29:00 – Why Leaders Think They Don't Have Time 33:00 – Everyday Opportunities to Develop Future Leaders 38:00 – Failure as Fertilizer for Growth 42:00 – The Power of Modeling and Debriefing 46:00 – How to Identify Your Next Growth Area 50:00 – The 4T Framework for Leadership Development 54:00 – How to Multiply Leaders Four Generations Deep 58:00 – Building a Leadership Legacy That Lasts Episode Show Notes and Links to Mac Lake's Books and Resources: https://leadersoftransformation.com/podcast/leadership/super-multipliers-how-to-multiply-great-leaders-four-generations-deep-with-mac-lake/ Check out our complete library of episodes and other leadership resources here: https://leadersoftransformation.com ________
Gianni Versace was the Italian fashion designer who turned bold prints, bare skin, and celebrity culture into a global empire. From his mother's seamstress studio in southern Italy, he rose to dress everyone from Princess Diana to Tupac Shakur, building a brand that generated over $800 million in annual sales by the mid-1990s. In Part 1 of Murder: True Crime Stories, host Carter Roy traces Gianni's creative journey from small-town Calabria to the top of the fashion world, while introducing the man who would destroy it all: Andrew Cunanan, a 27-year-old con artist whose carefully constructed life of lies was collapsing around him. As Gianni settled into his Miami Beach mansion at the height of his influence, Andrew bought a one-way ticket to Minneapolis, where two men who trusted him were about to pay for it with their lives.Head over to our Murder True Crime Stories YouTube channel to WATCH our video episodes: https://www.youtube.com/@MurderTrueCrimeStoriesJoin Crime House+ to binge a special limited series on Murder: True Crime Stories for America's 250th: The Crimes That Built America. By the mid-1970s, Sal Mineo's Oscar-nominated Hollywood career had collapsed. He was broke, deeply in debt, and sleeping in a rented apartment with rented furniture. But a sold-out stage run in San Francisco had the critics raving again, and a deal to direct his first feature film was finally coming together. On the night of February 12th, 1976, Sal left rehearsal for the LA run of his comeback show, stopped for cupcakes and cigarettes, and pulled into his usual parking spot. He never made it to his front door. In Part 2 of Murder: True Crime Stories, host Carter Roy follows Sal's fall from teen idol to forgotten star, the brutal stabbing that ended his life at 37, and an investigation derailed by tabloid speculation before the truth finally surfaced.Head over to our Murder True Crime Stories YouTube channel to WATCH our video episodes: https://www.youtube.com/@MurderTrueCrimeStoriesJoin Crime House+ to binge a special limited series on Murder: True Crime Stories for America's 250th: The Crimes That Built America. Learn how modern NFL defenses use hybrid "Star" personnel and simulated fire zones to counter condensed formations and heavy personnel packages. Master the exact early-down blitz thresholds and schematic adjustments required to neutralize play-action efficiency without compromising your two-high safety shell.—In this episode:The Heavy Personnel Counter-Revolution: Modern offenses are moving toward condensed, heavy-personnel packages like 12- and 13-personnel packages to distort defensive spacing and pull perimeter defenders into primary run fits. The Play-Action “Tax”: Playing single-high safety coverage to handle a heavier box count hands an extra 2.0 yards per play to highly efficient play-action schemes.Early-Down Blitz Efficiency Limits: Keeping early-down run blitz rates within a 20%-22% sweet spot limits offensive success, while crossing the 25% blitz threshold triggers diminishing returns and more explosive plays.Simulated Fire Zones as a “Fix”: Defenses are increasingly using simulated pressure to create a heavy look, drop edge players into flats using an “action-and-coverage” mechanism, and preserve deep coverage. The Roster Requirement Shift: To match modern offenses, teams must carry three starting-caliber CBs and three starting-caliber Safeties, transforming the hybrid “Star” slot defender into a premium, first-round position.—Timestamps:00:00 - Solved 11 Personnel Run Defense02:16 - Heavy Personnel Surge07:33 - The 3x3 Roster Mandate11:20 - Condensed Formations Strain14:30 - Play-Action Single-High Tax20:14 - Traditional Slots & 5-Man Fronts25:33 - Hybrid Star Alley Fitters37:32 - The 25% Blitz Threshold41:00 - Simulated Fire Zone Spacing—» Join Felix and Cody each Wednesday as we dive deep into the game we love!MatchQuarters is a reader-supported publication. Before he was a Hollywood star, Sal Mineo was a scrappy kid from the Bronx who couldn't stop getting into fights. His mother enrolled him in dance lessons to keep him out of trouble, and by 11 he was on Broadway. By 15 he was in his first film. By 16, he was reading lines poolside at the Chateau Marmont with James Dean, cast as one of three leads in Rebel Without a Cause. It was the kind of rise that seemed destined to last forever. It didn't. In Part 1 of Murder: True Crime Stories, host Carter Roy traces Sal's path from a tiny apartment above his family's casket business to the brightest lights in Hollywood, and the beginning of a story that would end on a dark Los Angeles street two decades later.Head over to our Murder True Crime Stories YouTube channel to WATCH our video episodes: https://www.youtube.com/@MurderTrueCrimeStoriesJoin Crime House+ to binge a special limited series on Murder: True Crime Stories for America's 250th: The Crimes That Built America. Go to https://kachava.com and use code HSP for 15% off your first order. They call it the golden age of DNA testing, and this year, two cases that police thought would never be solved finally cracked open. But the answers were nothing anyone expected. August 1990, Houston. A white Honda Civic sits abandoned at the end of a cul-de-sac on the city's edge. The keys are in the ignition, a woman's purse is on the floorboard, and blood is smeared down both doors. What detectives find in the woods beyond that car would become known as the Lovers' Lane murders, and the case would go cold for over three decades, broken only by a DNA hit decades later. November 1991, Placer County, California. A devoted young mother vanishes mid-morning while cleaning her sister's house, leaving her infant daughter crying in a high chair and her purse the only thing missing. There's no sign of struggle. No witnesses. Just a single cigarette butt on the walkway. When her body is finally found weeks later, the medical examiner makes a discovery more chilling than the murder itself. Two cases. Two killers who were never once on police's radar. And two breakthroughs driven by DNA technology that didn't exist when the crimes were committed. In Part 2 of Murder: True Crime Stories, Carter Roy explains what happened after a 21-year-old British student named Meredith Kercher was found murdered in Perugia, Italy in November 2007. In October 1974, nineteen year old Arlis Perry walked into Stanford Memorial Church and never came home. What investigators discovered the following morning would become one of California's most infamous unsolved murders, spawning decades of theories, false leads, and speculation while the killer remained hidden in plain sight. For forty four years the case sat cold, until a breakthrough in DNA technology finally revealed the truth and exposed a suspect nobody had been able to prove was responsible. Our other podcast: "FEARFUL" - https://open.spotify.com/show/56ajNkLiPoIat1V2KI9n5c?si=OyM38rdsSSyyzKAFUJpSywMERCH:https://www.redbubble.com/people/wickedandgrim/shop?asc=uPatreon: https://www.patreon.com/wickedandgrim?fan_landing=trueYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@wickedlifeFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/wickedandgrim/ Instagram:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wickedandgrim/?hl=enTwitter: https://twitter.com/wickedandgrimWebsite: https://www.wickedandgrim.com/

Northwestern's Mark Gorski, who co-led the study, says new observations allowed their scientists to see the wind's imprint for the first time. He says astrophysicists everywhere have been trying to find evidence of this black hole theory for 50 years.
In Part 2 of Murder: True Crime Stories, Carter Roy and Katie Ring, host of America's Most Infamous Crimes, follow the case against Kaitlin Armstrong in the 2022 murder of rising gravel racing star Mo Wilson. Digital forensics revealed months of obsessive surveillance, but a clerical error let Armstrong walk out of the police station before the murder warrant was ready. Within days, she had sold her Jeep, stolen her sister's passport, and fled to Costa Rica, where she paid cash for plastic surgery and assumed a fake identity. What followed was a 43-day international manhunt, a forensic goldmine hidden in her vehicle's GPS, and a trial that ended with a guilty verdict and a 90-year sentence. This is part two of my breakdown on status anxiety, and I explain how it's not really about confidence or skill, but about structure. Status anxiety disappears when you increase your own leverage, meaning you can produce more results from less input. When your leverage grows, comparison starts to lose power because you're focused on what you can control and multiply, not where you rank against others. I also talk about how most status games online are just attention games, and the real winners are the ones who own the system, not the ones competing inside it. Once control replaces comparison, stability comes back and the anxiety fades out. Show Notes: [04:06]#1 Leverage removes the need for validation. [08:28]#2 Internal standards override external ranking. [16:12]#3 Scarcity thinking inflates hierarchy. [19:35] Recap Next Steps: --- Execution is not a talent. It is a standard. If your results don't match your ability, something in your approach is out of alignment. Most people do not have a motivation problem. They have a consistency problem. Power Presence is the system for operating with greater discipline, clarity, structure, and execution under pressure. The response to our first episode on penis performance problems was so big that we knew we had to come back for round two. In this episode, we're getting into the practical stuff: what to do in the moment when things aren't going as planned, how to keep your sex life feeling connected and fun even when performance issues are in the mix, and how both partners can show up for each other without making everything weird.
