NGV presents 'QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection with Courtney Act', a five-part podcast series examining the exhibition through conversations with NGV curators and exhibiting artists to illustrate the exhibition's themes: love, community, activism, celebration and memory, queer sensibilities and queer strategies. The podcast offers listeners firsthand insight into the NGV exhibition 'QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection'. Hosted by iconic drag queen Courtney Act, the podcast illuminates a theme per episode. Conversations with the NGV curatorial team explore how these ideas resonate broadly with works presented in the exhibition, then individually with the five exhibiting artists: Tourmaline, William Yang, Linda Jackson, Frieda Toranzo Jaeger and Dylan Mooney.

    Courtney talks with photographer, writer, and performer William Yang, whose body of documentary and portraiture photography work since 1970 has engaged with the Sydney gay scene, the impact of HIV/ AIDS and his sense of identity as a Chinese-Australian.
