We come from backgrounds that extend from El Salvador, Nicaragua, Pakistan, and the Philippines. We want to give you our perspective of popular topics going on in today’s world. They vandalized and tried to violently over throw democracy in the name of Trump. Based off this disgusting event, we clearly see that we are living in Two Americas.

This week we jump right into beard maintenance, fried crickets, tacos, and Lebron James. We focused our discussion around the Hulu Original Series, Ramy. The show focuses on the young character, Ramy, and his personal struggles in his faith and becoming a better person. We focus on themes and moments of the show that are relatable to our lives. We start off by talking about the anti-government group that tried to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. We transition to the 2020 Vice Presidential Debate. The fly on Pence's head was definitely the highlight of the evening. We also give our thoughts on the separation of church and state.

We talked about some of the highlights from the Emmy Awards. Movies and TV shows have been a big interest to all of us since we were little kids so we wanted to dedicate an episode to talking about some of our favorite movies and TV shows.
After last week's serious episode on mental health, we decided to keep this one a bit lighthearted. We focus mainly on the NFL but also talk about video games and the new next gen-consoles coming soon.
Mental Health. I think this is something everyone has had to deal with at some point in their lives. We wanted to give you our perspective on how we view and deal with mental health. We also caught up on the NBA, Fantasy Football and the NFL.
This week we focused on NBA players boycotting the playoff games and its impact on the Black Lives Matter Movement. We discussed the social influences of other sports organizations, owners, and athletes. Good job, Drew Brees. We also talked through the media's role over the controversies of rioting and looting.
We really wanted to focus our discussion on the democratic ticket with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. In our discussion we talk through various points like some of the controversies around Kamala's pick as VP, the party conventions, progressivism, coronavirus, and of course, Donald Trump.
In this episode, we talk about the proxy wars going on in the world. We touch on the crisis in Yemen, War in Syria, Kashmir conflict and the US involvement in all of these wars. This topic is a little more serious but we hope you still enjoy it. (Recorded on 7/31/2020)
