Trump's approval rating may be near record lows, but tech tycoons and powerhouse CEOs are still all-in with bending the knee to Trump and bearing him gifts. If he turned America into an oligarchy, they'd be OK with that too. Anything to gut regulations and keep their taxes low—even if regular Americans might soon be looking for a pitchfork. If this is the best the Democrat Party can offer in 2028, conservatives should sleep just fine. Ryan Wiggins of Wiggins America joins the Marc Cox Morning Show in studio to break down the latest polling on the Democrat 2028 presidential field — and it is a gift. Kamala Harris is still leading the pack at 27%, Gavin Newsom is running California into the ground from second place, and Pete Buttigieg apparently has a beard now. Ryan and Marc dig into why the census battle in 2030 may be the most important political fight of the decade, how Republican population growth in red states is quietly reshaping the electoral map, and why the Democrats desperately need an Obama-type figure they simply don't have. Plus, Bernie Sanders drops a hint that has everyone wondering, and Joe Biden wanders into Jill's press conference to ask the world's strangest question. The 2028 race is shaping up to be must-see television. The Marc Cox Morning Show closes strong with an hour that covers the biggest threats to your vote, your values, and your wallet. Marc dismantles California's ballot harvesting machine piece by piece — explaining how a socialist polling at 21% somehow pulled 40% of post-election-day votes and why the Supreme Court may finally put a stop to it. Then it's Canada criminalizing scripture, Cardinals Pride Night backlash, and Dodgers pitcher Blake Treinen being shamed for refusing to let his faith take a back seat to a rainbow hat. Ryan Wiggins brings the 2028 Democrat field into focus — Kamala's still leading, Pete Buttigieg has a beard now, and Joe Biden just wandered into a press conference — and explains why Republicans hold all the cards heading into the next census cycle. Bob and Tammy Kershaw from the Retirement Advisory Group close the show with the conversation every St. Louis family near retirement needs to have, and an invitation to a free event that could protect everything you've worked for. Four hours of truth, common sense, and zero apologies — that's the Marc Cox Morning Show. President Trump destroys an NBC news babe's career in just 6 minutes and then takes off his microphone and walks out of the interview. What he said BEFORE that happened speaks volumes about what HE knows and what the media wants YOU to know. Trump defends the J6 fund as absolutely necessary as a Lindell TV reporter makes Nancy Pelosi lose her old bag mind. We also enjoy a 16 year flashback to California's AG race which took 4 weeks before Kamala was crowned the winner. Do you think she really won? Do you think Obama really won?

His Instagram bio says it all: "Just a dude working on political stuff." Charlie Goldensohn grew up in San Francisco's Mission District with a Marxist activist father and a Planned Parenthood director for a mother. He went on to work for Senator Dianne Feinstein, became Dr. Jill Biden's digital director, served in the White House, and worked on the Kamala Harris 2024 campaign. Then Democrats lost, and something in him snapped. He pointed a camera at himself, started walking, and started talking. Within four months, 200,000 followers. Today, over 359,000. In this episode, Saadia Khan sits down with Charlie for an unfiltered conversation about politics, identity, and why the Democratic Party has completely lost the plot. They get into: Why calling himself "just a dude" is actually the whole strategy Growing up in a radically political household — and hating it, until he didn't The moral calculus of working for Dianne Feinstein as a Bernie Sanders progressive Why he said no to Biden, yes to Kamala, and what that cost him Harm reduction politics — and whether it's ever enough What Democrats got wrong about Joe Rogan, Zohran Mamdani, and coalition-building Why he's targeting the men Democrats are losing and how he's actually reaching them Democracy is an endless fight, and what the Trump era cracked open for all of us This one's for anyone who's felt too progressive for the Democrats and too practical for purity politics. Jill Biden is out selling her new book — and accidentally exposed the entire Biden White House cover-up in a single week of interviews. She admitted they only pardoned Hunter Biden because Trump won, blamed the White House doctors for missing Joe's stage 4 cancer — the same doctors she praised for declaring him fit to serve — and then denied ever seeing mental decline, even though Biden asked where a dead congresswoman was at her own memorial. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris demanded an endorsement the moment Biden called to say he was dropping out, and Jill won't say a word about it. In 1930s India, Kamala Baghvat dreamed of working alongside the world's greatest scientific minds. But she was repeatedly told “no” when she tried to work in the then male dominated field. Inspired by Gandhi, she used nonviolent protest to pry her way into some of India's top laboratories. She became the first Indian woman to earn a PhD in biochemistry, and eventually, the first woman to lead India's Royal Institute of Science. Baghvat's career centered around a topic she was passionate about: solving India's malnutrition crisis. Learn about your ad choices: dovetail.prx.org/ad-choices
In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, President Trump claimed Monday that Iran's enriched uranium, or "nuclear dust", will either be surrendered to the U.S. or destroyed as the two countries continue working toward a potential peace deal. His comments came after an earlier post in which he said countries negotiating for peace should join the Abraham Accords. Over Memorial Day weekend Trump announced that a deal with Iran — which would include reopening the Strait of Hormuz — had been “largely” negotiated. Also rumors abound that Vice President JD Vance will NOT run for President in 2028, audio from a Ken Paxton political ad exposing a clearly delusional James Talarico making un-Godly statements, that "spawned" a hilarious discussion about alien sex movies, audio from a podcast supporting mixed gender sports, the latest from The Babylon Bee and Kamala in 2028? Kamala 2024 autopsy: Dems finally admit what killed the campaign: The excruciating details of how Kamala killed her campaign. No wonder they fought it’s release. But what’s the most glaring detail the report left out? GOP Pushback: Republicans rip Trump’s “weaponization” fund—Thom Tillis called the fund “stupid on stilts”. But he had no problem funding the legal bills of 8 other GOP senators. Find out who and why. The Democratic Party finally released its 2024 autopsy and somehow managed to make the whole situation look even worse. Not because the conclusions were devastating. Honestly, the conclusions barely mattered. The thing itself apparently reads like garbage. Wrong facts, shallow sourcing, no real accountability structure, no serious attempt to interrogate the deeper failures of the campaign. Ken Martin's explanation for why he sat on it for months was basically: “I thought it sucked.” Which immediately raises the obvious follow-up question: then why are you releasing it now instead of fixing it?That's the part that really sticks with me. A bad first draft is not some unforgivable sin. Every organization produces bad drafts. The problem is what happened next. Instead of commissioning a better version, expanding the scope, interviewing more people, and turning it into something useful, the DNC chair basically admitted he got scared. Scared of upsetting Biden loyalists. Scared of upsetting Kamala people. Scared of turning the 2028 primary into a blame war. Scared of stakeholders. Scared of his own shadow. And if your political party just suffered a massive defeat and is going through a structural identity crisis, “risk-averse hall monitor” is probably the worst possible archetype you can install at the top.Politics Politics Politics is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.Because the Democratic Party's problems are not cosmetic — they are systemic. The issue is not whether they were two clicks too progressive or three clicks too centrist on Gaza or Liz Cheney or whatever argument people want to relitigate forever. You can build winning coalitions with different ideological mixes. What you cannot survive is an outdated operating system. The Democrats still communicate like it's 2012. They still protect candidates through message discipline instead of exposure. They still behave like traditional media gatekeeping works. They still think carefully managed campaigns can survive in a hyper-networked political culture where voters expect constant access and authenticity, or at least the performance of authenticity. That's why I keep coming back to the feeling I had during the 2024 Democratic convention. Everybody was celebrating. Everybody was dancing. Everybody was acting like the vibes alone had solved the party's problems. And the whole thing felt to me like a deeply dysfunctional family that had temporarily won the lottery. For one week everybody's hugging each other, buying champagne, pretending the underlying rot disappeared. But the money doesn't fix the alcoholism. It doesn't fix the debt. It doesn't fix the resentment. Eventually the sugar high wears off and you're left with exactly the same structural problems you had before, except now everybody's angrier because the miracle cure didn't work.Republicans, for all their chaos, at least went through this process earlier. Trump bulldozed the old Republican establishment starting in 2016, and whether you think that was good or bad, it forced the party to evolve operationally. They adapted to social media faster. They understood small-dollar online fundraising faster. They cultivated emerging political communities like crypto and AI faster. The Democrats still feel institutionally run by either the same people from the Obama era or the protégés of those people. Even when personnel changes, the culture often doesn't. And culture matters more than almost anything in politics because culture determines how fast you can adapt when the ground shifts underneath you.Which is why the current Democratic polling advantage feels fragile to me. Democrats are benefiting because Donald Trump is politically damaging himself on Iran, Epstein, and governance. They are functioning as a check on Trump. That is different from voters enthusiastically buying into a coherent Democratic agenda. Even now, when Democrats talk about affordability, it often sounds abstract and bureaucratic instead of tangible. Huge spending programs, diffuse benefits, complicated delivery systems — the exact kind of stuff voters chronically struggle to emotionally connect with. So if the party leadership can't even produce a competent internal autopsy after one of the most consequential losses in modern politics, it's hard to argue they are materially closer to fixing the deeper problems underneath all of this.Chapters00:00:00 - Intro00:03:00 - DNC 2024 Autopsy00:15:24 - Interview with Chris Cillizza00:40:19 - Trump's AI Deal Postponed00:46:11 - Senate Republicans vs. Trump's Slush Fund00:50:38 - Raúl Castro00:57:25 - Interview with Chris Cillizza, con't01:19:44 - Wrap-up This is a public episode. Stay connected with us at americangroundradio.com, on Facebook, and Instagram. You're listening to American Ground Radio with Louis R. Avallone and Stephen Parr. This is the full show for May 15, 2026. Is the Left trying to rewrite the rules of American democracy? Today we dive into the stories and debates that every patriotic American needs to hear. Kamala Harris made headlines after her "no bad ideas" brainstorming webinar revealed a sweeping agenda to restructure America's constitutional foundations — abolishing the Electoral College, packing the Supreme Court, creating multi-member congressional districts, and granting statehood to D.C. and Puerto Rico. We break down why these aren't just bad ideas — they're not even new ones, and what they really signal about the modern Democratic Party's relationship with the Constitution. In the news: CIA Director John Ratcliffe's surprise trip to Cuba, Congressman Steve Cohen's retirement amid Tennessee redistricting, and Harvey Weinstein's third trial ends in yet another hung jury. American Mamas Teri Netterville and Kimberly Burelson weigh in on a viral parenting video where a mom destroys her son's PS5 after he harmed the family cat — and whether tough love is enough when child behavior signals something deeper. Going deep on the FDA's abortion pill review: why the new acting commissioner is promising pro-life leaders action, what Louisiana's lawsuit reveals about states' rights versus federal agency overreach, and why the Dobbs decision hasn't delivered what many pro-lifers expected. Plus: Jeanine Pirro seeks the death penalty in the anti-Semitic murders of two Israeli embassy staffers, a discussion on the Trump-Xi summit and what makes China a different adversary than Iran, teens ditching smartphones for dumb phones, and a lively round of Real News / Fake News. 1. A “Power-Focused” Agenda Democratic proposals are primarily about gaining and preserving political control, not policy issues like the economy, crime, or border security. Examples include: Electoral College reform Supreme Court expansion Redistricting changes Statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico 2. Election System Changes Key proposals discussed: Ending or reforming the Electoral College → reducing influence of smaller states. Multi-member districts → benefiting dense urban (Democratic) areas. Expanding Supreme Court (court-packing) → a way to influence rulings. 3. Judiciary and Legal System Concerns Efforts to impose ethics rules or penalties on judicial nominees are politically motivated. These could be used to pressure or intimidate judges, especially conservatives. 4. Statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico Add additional Democratic-leaning Senate seats Shift the balance of power in Congress 5. Redistricting (Gerrymandering) Debate Historically using gerrymandering to control representation in certain states. Attempting further changes (e.g., Virginia case) to increase their advantage 6. California Political Scenario There are concerns about: A potential situation where two Republicans advance in a statewide race They are willing to intervene if the outcome is unfavorable. Sadly, it's taken some time, but voters seem to be figuring out that Trump only cares about himself, his ballroom, his blatant corruption, and his unquenchable desire for revenge. 2026, so far, has been bad for his approval ratings. And his continued weakness on the world stage, especially when it comes to Iran and China, will only drive his numbers down more. At the same time, Trump has done permanent damage to our standing among our allies. Plus, Dems need to get serious about AI as well as a stock-trading ban for public officials—including presidents—Trump has far too many unexplained medical conditions, and Tim explains his support for commuting Tina Peters' prison sentence.Bill Kristol joins Tim Miller.show notes Monday's "Morning Shots" Lauren on how the Dems should respond to an aging Trump's health issues Bill's "Bulwark on Sunday" with Rob Flaherty, Kamala's deputy campaign manager San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria and our own MAGA culture expert, Will Sommer, will join the gang on stage at Bulwark Live: San Diego this Wednesday. In this episode of Designed for the Creative Mind, Michelle sits down with copywriter and brand voice expert Kamala Nair to talk about the missing piece in so many interior design businesses: messaging that actually connects. Kamala shares why stunning portfolios alone are no longer enough to stand out in a saturated market and explains how strategic storytelling can help designers attract the right clients, communicate their value, and create a brand that feels memorable and magnetic. From finding your "hook" to embracing authenticity in the age of AI-generated content, this conversation is packed with insights for designers who want their words to work just as hard as their visuals. In This Episode, We Cover: Why beautiful images alone don't convert clients The biggest messaging mistake interior designers make How generic copy creates distrust with potential clients What a strong brand "hook" really is Why authenticity matters more than polished perfection How to communicate transformation instead of just services Using storytelling to create emotional connection Why your website should speak to clients, not other designers How AI-generated copy can dilute your brand voice Ways to use your messaging across your website, social media, proposals, and discovery calls The importance of getting specific about your ideal client How Kamala built a niche copywriting business exclusively for interior designers Strategies for making time for business growth and strategic thinking The role discomfort and risk-taking play in entrepreneurship Key Takeaways Your portfolio gets attention. Your messaging builds connection. Clients may initially be drawn in by beautiful photos, but it's the story behind the work that creates emotional resonance and trust. Specificity is what makes brands memorable. Generic phrases like "timeless interiors" or "luxury living" aren't enough to differentiate you. Kamala explains how designers can uncover what truly makes them different and communicate it clearly. Authenticity converts better than perfection. In a world full of AI-generated content and copy that sounds the same, imperfect but genuine messaging often connects more deeply than polished generic language. Great marketing sells the feeling, not the product. Kamala shares the famous Rolls-Royce advertising example to illustrate how successful brands sell transformation and experience rather than just features. Democrats are already looking ahead to 2028, and the names leading early polling should concern every American who values freedom and constitutional government. Todd breaks down why Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is suddenly topping some Democrat primary polls, what her vision to “change America” really means, and why Kamala Harris is still viewed as a frontrunner despite years of political performance art. Todd also explains the danger behind Democrat calls to expand the Supreme Court, eliminate the Electoral College, and push statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico. Plus, reflections on America's founding principles and why conservatives must engage now in the fight for the nation's future.
On today’s episode of The Scott Jennings Show, Scott broadcasts live from San Francisco as President Trump returns from China following talks with Xi Jinping that could lead to major Boeing and soybean deals, while Victoria Coates joins the program to discuss growing U.S.-China alignment on Iran, the escalating Strait of Hormuz standoff, and whether mounting economic pressure could force Tehran back to the negotiating table. Scott also breaks down new DHS data showing 12 consecutive months with zero illegal immigrant releases at the southern border and a 94% drop in illegal crossings compared to the Biden era. Hillsdale College President Dr. Larry Arnn previews this weekend’s “Rededicate 250” prayer gathering on the National Mall and discusses preserving America’s founding values, while former Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares reacts to explosive House testimony surrounding Fairfax County prosecutor Steve Descano and sanctuary-style immigration policies. In Hour 2, Scott delivers a fiery monologue arguing Democrats have abandoned common sense on issues like the Electoral College, court-packing, and birth tourism, before focusing his “Pain of the Week” on America’s declining student test scores and the impact of screens and smartphones on children. Karol Markowicz joins for Friday Punditry to discuss violent crime, elite institutions, and cultural backlash, and the show closes with the week’s winners and losers. https://www.chevron.com/america https://www.balanceofnature.com See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show might also be in your audio wheelhouse. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Nation States with Yates An extended interview with national security expert Steve Yates, who has a new podcast "Nation States with Yates" that just debuted in the Clay and Buck podcast network this week. The discussion centers on the Trump administration’s ongoing China summit, U.S.–China diplomatic strategy, and broader geopolitical competition, with Yates emphasizing that negotiations with China involve dealing not just with a leader but with the broader Chinese Communist Party system. The conversation highlights the challenges of achieving meaningful long-term change, suggesting that while transactional wins—such as increased Chinese purchases of U.S. goods or limited cooperation on issues like Iran—are possible, deeper strategic shifts are unlikely in the near term. A key topic throughout Hour 2 is the potential for a China–Taiwan conflict, one of the most critical global security concerns. Yates argues that a full-scale Chinese invasion of Taiwan is unlikely in the near term due to military complexity and regional deterrence but acknowledges that China could pursue alternative strategies such as blockades or pressure tactics. The hosts underscore the enormous stakes involved, noting that Taiwan’s dominance in semiconductor manufacturing and microchip production makes it essential to the global economy, particularly in sectors like artificial intelligence, defense, and consumer technology. The discussion also explores global supply chains and economic security, with a focus on how long it would take the United States and its allies to achieve semiconductor independence. Yates explains that while progress is being made through international partnerships and new initiatives to secure supply chains, full independence would take years and require cooperation among advanced economies. This reinforces a central theme of the hour: economic resilience and technological competition are now central pillars of national security. Clay's Pitch to Trump Clay and Buck discuss domestic politics and future Democratic Party strategy, previewing upcoming remarks from Kamala Harris on major institutional changes. Clay suggests President Trump lowers gas prices or else could be in trouble come the midterms. Strategic in De-Coupling from China Senator Dave McCormick of Pennsylvania joins the show to provide insights into both the China trip and the U.S. political and economic landscape. McCormick emphasizes that China remains a long-term strategic competitor seeking to challenge U.S. global leadership, even as diplomatic engagement continues. He highlights key issues including trade negotiations, energy exports, rare earth dependency, and the importance of maintaining American competitiveness in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence. The interview shifts into a detailed discussion of U.S. energy policy and economic growth, particularly in Pennsylvania as a critical swing state. McCormick outlines how natural gas production, energy infrastructure projects, and data center expansion are driving job creation and investment, positioning the state as a key player in the national economy. He underscores that energy independence and infrastructure development are central to economic strength, especially in the context of global instability affecting oil and gas markets. A major policy focus in this segment is McCormick’s proposed Unlock American Energy and Jobs Act, which aims to streamline federal permitting for energy projects. He argues that excessive regulation and long approval timelines—sometimes stretching for years—are blocking investment and slowing economic growth. The proposed reforms are framed as a way to accelerate infrastructure development, unlock private capital, and expand domestic energy production, aligning with broader themes of regulatory reform and economic competitiveness. Kamala's Bad Brainstorm Clay argues strongly that Kamala Harris could emerge as the Democratic nominee, sparking a debate with Buck over whether Harris or California Governor Gavin Newsom is better positioned. The discussion centers on Democratic primary dynamics, voter coalitions, and identity-based political strategy, with Clay emphasizing the importance of core voting blocs in determining primary outcomes. A centerpiece of Hour 3 is the reaction to Kamala Harris’s recent public comments outlining a range of controversial or ambitious proposals. These include expanding the Supreme Court, granting statehood to Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, eliminating the Electoral College, and restructuring congressional representation through multi-member districts. The hosts frame these ideas as part of a broader institutional reform agenda, arguing that such proposals could fundamentally reshape the structure of American government. They also suggest that these positions indicate the Democratic Party has not moderated its policy direction and could pursue sweeping changes if it regains control of Congress and the White House. It's Casual Friday On today's program: Conservative pundits are failing to keep it together as the Trump administration's support continues to crater to record lows. One example is Scott Jennings live on CNN swearing Meidas Touch's wunderkind, Adam Mockler. Jeet Heer, national affairs correspondent at The Nation joins the program to recap the week's biggest stories. Topics include: The War in Iran, Trump's fixation on his own legacy, the buried DNC autopsy and more. For more from Jeet, check out his podcast "In the Time of Monsters". Rep. Greg Casar (D-TX), chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) joins the show to discuss the CPC's new Affordability Agenda. In the Fun Half: Pete Hegseth appears before congress as a part of the military's budget request hearings, and it does not go well for him. Hegseth implies the soldiers that survived the drone attack that killed 6 servicemembers were lying when they said that they had almost no support. Also at the hearing, Rep. Jason Crow exposes Hegseth recommissioning his personal attorney and now top adviser at the Pentagon Tim Parlatore, who also represents clients that are in line for promotion by Hegseth so that he could sidestep any venting process. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) goes on Fox to lie Kamala-style about how great the economy is. "You can just feel how good things are". Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) takes a different approach to manipulating people around the economy. Rick says that the higher prices at the pump are worth it because now we are safer and can live in freedom. Tim Pool's guest floats the idea that Ben Shapiro is running ads on Tucker Carlson's channel to capture his audience, but Tim shuts it down, saying it would be stupid and bad business—only to admit moments later that he's done the same thing to The Majority Report's channel.
