Seeker's Soirée

Ovadya and Stefania are attempting to reunite after 9 months of no-podcasting but an eerie situation forces Stefania to crawl through the doggie door in order to enter the new basement studio.

In this episode Ovadya and Stefania are preparing for an Equinox ritual they call “Switching our Broken Record”, together with their partners Diane and Konrad. The idea was to detect unhealthy behaviors by noticing our speech patterns and establishing an intention to change them. Some opinions were expressed - after all, who’s better at hearing your broken record than your partner? Tensions run high (for some), some blood was drawn, but the mission was eventually accomplished - with zero casualties. In this episode we geeked out on Neuroscience and the power of positive thinking, and found ourselves doing an impromptu infomercial for Spokane. tips were shared on mindfulness and how to stop losing things. Stefania shared her secret medicinal Hot Toddy ala Bourbon recipe, which unfortunately was not powerful enough to fight Ovadya's splitting headache. But it did not prevent him from sharing a freshly written silly poem about 9/11

Recorded September 8th, 2016. In this double-date soireé we talked about success. What it means, how to spell it, and what a ping pong table in the dining room has to do with the Mexican border. Several English idioms were successfully - and accidentally - abused by Ovadya, and we wrapped up the show with an impromptu vocal jam led by Konrad's Beatbox.
