Welcome to Spotlights, Suitcases, and My Service Dog! Join me, Krystin Skidmore, and my SD Laika as we discuss life with an invisible disability, books, music, and whatever else catches our fancy! This episode is a brief introduction to who we are, how we became a SD/Handler team, and what we are about. I am "coming out" with my disability and publicly sharing my diagnoses for the first time, because I am ready to embrace it and I hope it will be empowering to some of my listeners. I hope to show that individuals are not defined by their disabilities. This is by no means a call to others to share personal information with the public if it is not personally empowering for them.
