In today’s episode I want to remind you that it is okay to ask for help. Although there are many things you can do, and you may feel like you can “do it all” the reality is that you cannot and should not do it all. When you come in a season or stage in life where you are unsure of some things, know that you can find resources that will help you through. For me personally, I love to be a helper, and I have struggled with asking for and accepting help. But I realize that I am doing a disservice to someone who also loves being a helper. 2020 has been an earth-shattering, life/changing year for me, and countless others in our country, and around the world. While we are navigating life in a new way, maybe now is the best time for us to re-evaluate what it means to have success. Maybe being successful is not only about fame, wrath, and social status. What if we focus our intention and attention to accomplishing a purpose that speaks to our wholistic body - physical, mental, emotional. In this first episode of Spots of Joy - The Podcast, I invite you to sit with me. Be still. Take a few minutes for you. What are your thoughts and dreams? What do you want to do? Who do you want to be? What impact do you want to make? I want you to know that nothing is too big or two small. Your view on success is unique to you, and I want you to know that I believe in you. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
