Hello and welcome to The Messy Middle Podcast. My name is Sara Slattery and this is the space for women who care deeply, really feel that things can be different in life, work and business and are so so tired of the status quo. Here we explore how we can navigate the messiness of change in curious and nuanced ways where we have room to try new things, learn and grow. So if you've been thinking 'there has to be another way than this', let's embrace the mess and do it together, supporting each other imperfectly with our humanness intact.
Join us for a rich conversation with Grace Tempany where we talk about: The fear of leaving the steady pensionable job to follow your souls calling Trusting the path when there are few role models and signposts How much time it takes to build the foundations before you make the leap How the inner work, resilience building and nervous system regulation is key for support Handing too much power to teachers, coaches & wellness professionals -codependency Holding uncertainty, acceptance and compassion as essential anchors when walking this path Grace Tempany is the founder of ISFYT, a school that bridges the worlds of psychotherapy and yoga as a methodology to equip both Yoga teachers and wellness professionals to help their clients and students connect to, and make decisions from, their more embodied and authentic selves. You can find Grace on Instagram here ________________________________________________________ If you are seeking support to move from feeling stuck, bored or burnt out out with your work, I have one to one coaching available to support you. In today's very first episode of The Messy Middle I wanted to talk about how starting something new can be awkward, uncomfortable, cringe and scary. I don't think it is easy for anyone despite how they present or sound. How change is inherently uncomfortable and non linear, there is no straight easy tidy line from A to B. I'll also introduce the 3 lenses that I see change happening at the moment: individually, culturally and collectively. If you enjoyed the episode, please share with a friend or leave a review :-) I'll be back again in 2 weeks and in the meantime you can give me a shout on insta @saraaslattery or through my website www.saraslattery.ie
