Variuosjibberish - "This and That and Things We Do"
...And Yes, we watch Big Bang Theory
A conversation between Aunt Judy and Uncle Jack Totten, Mom and me about "Old Times". Mom is on the left. (Betty Oleta Watts Totten). The others are Sue, Joan and Ordie.
Elsie (Lowell's wife), Howard, Myrtle (Dad's sister) and me.
Dad carrying on and Mom giggling while trying to not answer back. It was like this all the time - we had fun.
Short clip of dad singing: Kansas City Start - "That's what I are"
A conversation with Uncle Ordie. This and that with his health and Fran, and a story involving Doug and he thought Dale walked part way home.
Ordie talks about how he bought his Dad and wife Luna an electric blanket even when his Dad (OA Watts) didn't want one.
Another chorus by Dad and it was always amazing how many songs he knew.
Photo of Grandpa Ordie Audry Watts (OA) as a teenager. Probably never thought life would be so hard. Uncle Ordie describes his relationship with his Dad.
Ordie talking about how he would sneek out at night with his dad's horse. An old timey "joy ride" you might call it.
Ordie (left) telling stories. One is about dad (Howard) and another is his version of how he got his cheek scar from Carl (brothers at odds).
Uncle Ordie Watts of Monticello, Arkansas did an unusual thing back in the 1970's. He had a young billy goat that he put in the pen with his deer dogs. The goat started thinking he was a dog. He would try to bark and he would run with the other dogs through the woods to flesh out the deer. Ordie painted "GOAT" on both sides of "Billy" to make sure he didn't get shot. The story of this was published in the Arkansas Gazette Newspaper.
Chorus of Coming For to Carry Me Home
...and she could be heard for about 3 or 4 miles...
My wife and I sing this to one another now and then. Here is an attempt by dad and me.
