This podcast will be my little safe space where I will have a revolving door of guests from my closest friends and family, to other individuals who I believe have a unique and vibrant outlook on life and are willing to share their own stories. As someone
Well hello, once again. I know it has been a while since we have spoken but I am back now, although I am not too sure if I will be here to stay. All I can say is I will be taking it one day at a time and probably drop a few episodes here and there, for now. Nevertheless, in this episode, I essentially talk about 2021 as a whole for me as well as a little encouragement for the upcoming year, 2022. I just want to thank everyone who has listened, shared, and supported me throughout this journey...it truly means everything to me and I love you all so dearly! I hope you enjoyed this episode, it is always an honor to speak to you all and I can only thank Jesus for that! xx Stay Connected Instragram: @bethelspace @bethelllbabyyy Email: bethelSpacepodcast@gmail.com Intro & Outro Our God by K. Well, hello...again. I know, I know I said in my previous episode that I was ending my first season and now I am back with another one. However, this time, I brought along my two, little sisters with me as they took over this week's episode and interviewed me. It was such a good time as I cherish every single moment that I share with them (love you guys so so much). Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed it and I would like to say for the 1,000th time...thank you all so much for everything, it means the world to me! See you all in our next season! Whew! What a way to end my first season...in this episode, I am joined with one of my beautiful little sisters, Blessing, as we dive into our relationship with other individuals, our relationship with one another, as well as our own relationship with ourselves. We can definitely add to our vulnerability points as we shared moments in our lives that we have learned from regarding the different types of relationships that we have been in. To my surprise, our conversation became quite emotional and I am so grateful for my sister. (Love you sis xx) Nevertheless, we realized the one relationship that we need to learn to establish is the one with Jesus! Once again, thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting and tuning in with me throughout this whole journey. It is such an honor to be creating this platform and I appreciate how far we have come and how far we will grow in the near future! Hi :) Welcome back to another episode as I am honored to be joined with my youth pastor, also known as "Deacon". We started off by discussing his background and passions which included feeding into the talents of young people. I definitely believe I may be following in his footsteps as well because I just love seeing young people doing what they do best regardless of the occupation. We later begin to praise my generation and the generations ahead because of the amount of vim we have and carry in our spirits and I honestly can not wait to see what God has planned for us all! Another episode, another conversation, and another vulnerability moment. In this episode, I am joined by an amazing friend of mine, Melissa, as we talk about our own realities in our walks with Christ...you know, the ups and downs, to right to left, literally all of it. I know growing up in a Christian upbringing, I personally felt like I had to be perfect if I really wanted to jump on this Jesus thing but in reality, we have to understand that we do not have to be perfect because Jesus already is and all we have to do is accept who He is in our lives! Let's talk about the what, shall we? What is mental health and why is it an important matter to discuss, especially in the lens of Christ. Growing up, I never gave a thought to how I could take care of my mind or even think that God cared about my mental health at all. For someone who used to deal with depression and still suffers from anxiety, I never thought there was a chance for me to heal or even be real with my own self about what I was dealing with. However, my friend, Adrian, and I have come to the realization that God actually cares about each and every aspect of our lives, even mentally. If you had asked me a year ago bout what God's love or peace was, I honestly would have no answer. It is all so new to me...the fact that God loves me no matter what and nothing could come in between that love He has for both me and you! Like how could someone even love us that much and because He loves us that much, He also promises us everlasting peace and rest! I pray that as you are listening to this episode and carry one with your life, you will encounter the type of love God has for you because He is love! In this so-called life that we claim to be living, I have actually come to the realization that we do not necessarily have life until we meet Christ. Honestly, think about it...because Jesus is the eternal life, we do not give our lives to Christ, instead, we receive His life! In this episode, I am joined with my beloved friend, Myra, and we discuss the life she is now able to live through Christ alone. As well as the ups and downs throughout her journey and how she was able to learn from them as she continued to set her eyes to the center of her life, which is Jesus! "Why are you looking for the LIVING among the dead?" Luke 24:5. Glory! Jesus lives and He lives forever. In this episode, I wanted to do a special recording for this Resurrection Sunday. I am honestly overwhelmed by the love Jesus has for me and the rest of the world. It honestly blows my mind because death thought it had a hold of my Jesus! I hope you all continue to experience God's love and rest that He has promised us! Happy Ghana Independence Day...we dey inside! l know, I know I am a bit late but honestly, we celebrate Ghana every day! In this episode, I am joined by my two good friends, Matilda and Nicole, as we talk about how beautiful our culture is and our childhood growing up. We had a good time reflexing about where we came from and how it has impacted our plans for the future. I hope this episode was able to bring you some laughter as we shared our own stories! 3 months into the year 2021 and we are still trying to adapt to our “new normal” as well as recover from the major series of events from last year. In this introduction episode, I would like to discuss a bit of why I started my own podcast, a look back into 2020, and also how we could plan for our own future. Instead of goals, I explain an alternative method that has been working out for me (well, sometimes lol) and what has given me peace looking forward to this year!
