Host Zach Pugh endures contestant and returning champion James Austin Johnson's inanity, in what can only be described as “JOBN’s Smash Hit Listicle Game Show Hybrid Podcast.” Each week join two unwitting contests as they wade into a broken corporate cash-grab, and try to answer unanswerable questio…
prayers, james, funny, love, listen, jaj, underemployment.
Listeners of What Things are What Things that love the show mention:Thanks for hangin out with us for the past couple of years, see ya down the road maybe. Probably.
Yes, JAJ is back, it's great, whatever. What's important here though, is that you understand this venue (which we love!) had a PA mixer with ONE OUT. Which means I was unable to grab audio from the soundboard, and had to record the show via omni-directional-room-mic. It's not so bad, but is definitely sub-optimal. I apologize but my hands were tied! I just want you to know that I know, it's not my best work. ENJOY!
"What Nintendo Characters are What Vices" it's The Shrimp Boys, you already know fam, they take this shit very seriously. Tickets for our 100th episode live show (In Los Angeles CA, May 26th) can be purchased here: https://www.whammyanalog.com/events/what-things-are-what-things-episode-100-thingathon
"What Energy Drinks Are What Jobs" I aksed Chris if I should edit any of this stuff out, and he said no.N ¯_(ツ)_/¯
"What Canceled Guys are What Articles of Clothing" It's a good one we have a lot of fun.
"What Movie Franchises Are What Sports Franchies" I hope you like the sound of men tittering as they list obscure baseball players from yesteryear.
"Will Smith Movies and Olympic Events" We're re-releasing this one for no reason whatsoever.
"What Punk Bands are What Beers" Guy says he never listened to The Replacements?
"What Classic Rock Songs are What Vehicles" I regret trying to explain the NBC game show "The Wall" off mic.
I don't want to spoil anything but Robby kicks the shit out of everyone in the room.
"...But female ducks have developed countermeasures. Their vaginas are equally long and twisting, lined with dead-end pockets and spirals that curve in the opposite direction. They are organic chastity belts, evolved to limit the effectiveness of the males' lengthy genitals."
My principle memory of this ep was that we spent a long time before we started recording talking about how good "The Dress Up Gang" is and what a tragedy it is that it was buried when TBS's ownership changed hands. Oh, the game is "What Breakfast Cereals are What Presidents".

Two real ones, Alex and Isaac form Hembree, join us on the eve of their second album's release. Fwiw Alex and I figured out we both were at the same Muse show in 2005.
We recorded this a couple hours before the Chiefs game. That's right, we're doing descriptions now.
