5 februari 2026 - Thuis op straatHet Buurtmuseum IndischeBuurt wijdt haar nieuwe expositie in de OBA-Javaplein aan dak- en thuisloze mensen in onze buurt.  De Regenboog-groep, die opvang en onderdak verzorgt, schat deze groep inmiddels op ruim 13.000 personen in Amsterdam.De Regenboog-groepRob van Veelen (oud opbouwwerker en oprichter van het buurtmuseum) nam bezoekers in dit kader mee op ontdekkingstocht door de buurt en liep langs plekken die de sociale verbondenheid in onze buurt kenmerken.De tentoonstellingHet BuurtMuseum nodigde drie kunstenaars uit (Nora Hendriks, Bardo Camp en Belit Sag) die na een introductie bij de daklozen-opvang in gesprek zijn gekomen met mensen zonder vaste verblijfplaats in onze buurt en hebben hun wereld omgezet in een geluiddecor, schilderijen en een textielen boek.
