Mitch Urban started off as a top forty radio D.J. and news broadcaster, and was a touring rock singer, opening for everyone from Quiet Riot to K.C. and the Sunshine Band.  His work as a voice actor includes Voicing three of the dogs in the Christmas classic feature film "Nine Dog Christmas" narrated by James Earl Jones.  Mitch has narrated shows for the History channel, voiced dozens of video game characters including the iconic "GhostRider" for Marvel Heroes, the voice of Steven Tyler's Skittles painting in the award-winning Super Bowl ad, and was the voice of JEEP for nearly ten years voicing literally thousands of radio and television commercials. Behind the camera, Mitch wrote and directed the award-winning cult horror film "Braineater".

En este LGDS 13x24 – Adaptaciones Mierder Parte 4 volvemos a abrir el contenedor de residuos tóxicos de Hollywood para analizar tres adaptaciones que, por distintos motivos, acabaron convirtiéndose en leyenda… pero de la mala Arrancamos con Nick Furia: Agente de SHIELD, esa maravilla noventera protagonizada por David Hasselhoff, donde el parche va por libre, la acción es de telefilm de sobremesa y el concepto de SHIELD parece sacado de una tienda de disfraces. Una adaptación que hoy se mira con estupor, risa nerviosa y un poco de vergüenza ajena, pero que en su día alguien pensó que era buena idea. Seguimos con Doom, una película que logró lo imposible: tener marines espaciales, demonios y un videojuego mítico… y aun así aburrir. Aquí hablamos de decisiones creativas incomprensibles, fidelidad al material original cogida con pinzas y un tramo final en primera persona que parece una demo mal ejecutada. Ciencia ficción, terror y videojuego mezclados como si nadie hubiera leído el manual. Y cerramos el aquelarre con Ghost Rider, la versión más desatada del motorista infernal, con fuego digital, calaveras en llamas y un tono que no sabe si quiere ser oscura, camp o directamente un desmadre. Efectos irregulares, villanos discutibles y un espíritu noventero tardío que hoy se disfruta casi más como comedia involuntaria que como película de superhéroes. Todo esto comentado sin filtros, con sarcasmo, ironía y muchas risas, en una charla donde se reparten hostias a diestro y siniestro pero también se reconoce el encanto trash de estas adaptaciones. Porque no todo tiene que ser arte… a veces basta con que sea memorable por lo mal que salió. Per the article, some Goses from the early 20th century had between 130 and 280 ppm of salt. Anderson Valley typically adds about 800 ppm of salt - but only after fermentation. Episode 116 - "Ghost Riders" - Tailer Trash Fly Fishing by Tailer Trash

In this episode, Phillip and Eric are rewatching and talking the underrated cinematic masterpiece that is Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, at least according to Eric. They talk Nic Cage's hammy acting, having a Ghost Rider movie directed by the team of utterly insane Crank movies, and Phillip shares his thoughts on the Spider-Man Magic: the Gathering set despite not playing Magic.

Ghost Rider was something of an also-ran character in the 70s and 80s, so when editor-turned-writer Howard Mackie was invited to pitch a revival in 1990, Marvel didn't have high hopes. But, with a brand new human host created by Mackie and a gritty and powerful redesign by artist Javier Saltares, the Spirit of Vengeance soon became a massive commercial success. We figured the first Ghost Rider: Danny Ketch - Vengeance Reborn Epic Collection would be seasonally appropriate reading for Halloween, but there's very little of the supernatural in these pages (except for the flaming-skull-headed biker himself). Instead, mysteries layered on top of mysteries are the order of the day, so your hosts will try to untangle what it all means (and whether it matters).
