In this episode of Stories Worth Hearing, host John Quick sits down with Derek Webb, one of the most influential figures in modern Christian music and a founding member of Caedmon's Call.Webb helped define an era of Christian music, with career sales approaching one million records, ten GMA Dove Award nominations, three Dove Award wins, and six number one Christian radio hits. His impact on the genre is undeniable and lasting.Check out his music here: https://www.derekwebb.com/Yet today, Derek Webb is not chasing fame, radio charts, or sold out venues. In this conversation, he reflects on his early rise, the pressures that come with commercial success, and the deliberate decision to step away from the spotlight in order to pursue a more honest and independent creative life. Webb shares why being authentic and true to himself matters more now than recognition or numbers, while also expressing deep gratitude for the success and opportunities that shaped his career. The episode explores how Derek has learned to hold both truths at once, honoring what came before while refusing to be defined by it. He talks candidly about freedom, integrity, faith, and what it means to keep creating when the goal is no longer applause but alignment. This is a thoughtful, grounded conversation with an artist who has already “made it” and chose something deeper instead.Subscribe to Stories Worth Hearing on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, or wherever you listen to podcasts.

This episode examines three developments that reveal how major cruise lines are asserting control over an increasingly complex industry. Norwegian Cruise Line's new NCL Air policy now mandates day-early arrival for all passengers booking through its air program — even on domestic flights — a direct response to the mounting unreliability of air travel that saw over 15,000 flight delays on the policy's launch day alone. The hosts break down the operational logic behind the change, the legal complexities of the Passenger Vessel Services Act that make missed embarkations nearly impossible to fix, and the hidden cost trap that could catch deal-savvy travelers off guard. The episode then travels to Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, where Royal Caribbean's fourth Icon-class ship is taking shape with the installation of its signature 52-foot glass Pearl — a structure that's both stunning art piece and load-bearing engineering marvel. The hosts explore how the sphere's mounting system handles the ship's flex at sea and how modular cabin construction at offsite factories is revolutionizing shipbuilding quality and speed for vessels approaching 250,000 gross tons. Finally, MSC Cruises signals its serious North American ambitions with a $100 million, 130,000-square-foot headquarters in downtown Miami, strategically located near the Brightline high-speed rail station. The hosts discuss how this investment, projected to generate $300 million in annual economic impact, positions MSC to compete head-to-head with Royal Caribbean and Carnival in the world's most competitive cruise market.
In this deeply emotional and revealing episode of Undressed with Pol' and Patrik, we begin a powerful new series dedicated to our dearly departed best friend, Anna Nicole Smith. We mark the anniversary of her passing with an intimate, heartfelt tribute. This episode blends raw emotion, behind-the-scenes storytelling, humor, and celebrity pop-culture context — making it one of the most personal episodes of our podcast to date. We reflect on where we were when we received the devastating phone call confirming Anna's passing, sharing the surreal stillness of that moment, the chaos surrounding our boutique, and the global media frenzy that followed. More importantly, we share our mission to preserve Anna's memory — not just as a celebrity, but as a loyal friend with a deeply loving spirit. We revisit the final words Anna ever spoke to us — “I love y'all, kiss kiss” — words we later immortalized in our book. We dive into the origin story of our book Portrait of an Icon. It was never meant to be a traditional celebrity biography — it began as a healing exercise during grief. We share how memories poured out as we typed together, from our dining table to being snowed in during a trip, showing how grief transformed into storytelling and ultimately a legacy project. We share private, never-before-heard moments from our friendship with Anna — wild party nights, spontaneous adventures, and the deep emotional bond we shared. We also revisit early 2000s nostalgia, including Anna's AOL screen name “Hot Smoochy Lips,” revealing her playful spirit behind the public persona. We discuss Anna's undeniable star power, comparing her presence to icons like Jennifer Lopez and Brad Pitt, and how she commanded attention in any room. We also address media narratives and outsider books versus our real-life experience knowing the true Anna. At the heart of this episode, we want everyone to understand Anna was never just pop culture — she was magnetic, emotional, fiercely loyal, and deeply loving. Throughout this series, we promise to “crack the egg open” and share stories the public has never heard before. We close by celebrating Anna — honoring her joy, humor, and lasting cultural impact. We will be releasing new episodes in this series twice a month, diving deeper into chapters from our book, sharing untold stories, and opening up even more about our friendship with her. This is our promise to keep her memory alive, and we cannot wait to share this journey with you, twice a month, right here on Undressed with Pol' and Patrik.

Go here: https://fos.now/yt-apply-575I spent the last 16 years learning the five levels of business. Today, I work where I want, when I want, and my portfolio of online companies generates over $13M per year. What I learned is simple: founders don't stall because they lack effort; they stall because they use early-stage behaviors in businesses that have already outgrown them. Every level requires letting go of old identities, systems, and habits. In this video, I break down the five levels of business, what breaks at each stage, and what you need to build to scale without burning out. You'll learn how to get your first real traction, stop being the bottleneck, focus on what a CEO actually owns, create leverage through systems and people, and think in decades instead of quarters so you can build something that lasts.Want to LEARN proven systems to grow your personal brand? This week on Out Wide, Stef and Resh sprint (and occasionally rage-walk) through the 2026 Australian Open, an event that somehow managed to be thrilling, exhausting, political, inspiring, and completely sabotaged by ESPN at the same time.We start with the real final boss of the tournament: sports streaming capitalism. ESPN Plus? ESPN Unlimited? ESPN Select? Cable? VPNs? Mexico?? Watching tennis in 2026 apparently requires a CPA, an IT degree, and a teenage LimeWire mindset. ESPN, respectfully: jail. Before we get into forehands and finals, the hosts pause to acknowledge the world being… on fire. From ICE terrorizing communities to athletes being asked political questions they'd rather moonwalk away from, this episode grounds itself in the belief that tennis does not exist in a bubble, no matter how badly some press rooms want it to. Coco Gauff emerges as the moral North Star of the tournament—21 years old, emotionally fluent, politically aware, and still somehow finding time to hype a gay hockey romance show.On court, Elena Rybakina wins the Australian Open in stoic legend fashion, celebrates with a whisper of a fist pump, and gets criticized for not doing enough cartwheels. Meanwhile, Stef and Resh firmly defend the right to win a Grand Slam quietly and go home. Let introverts live. Then came Naomi Osaka's jellyfish fit, the moment tennis fashion officially entered its couture era. Inspired by marine biology and designed with Beyoncé's designer (casual!), Naomi floated onto Rod Laver Arena like an aquatic deity and said, “Even if I lose, I'll trend.” She was right. The outfit ate. The internet screamed. Traditionalists clutched pearls. Naomi posted six photos and logged off. Icon behavior. We also get:ESPN booth shakeups (women rising, Mac bros still yapping)Venus Williams returning at 45 and reminding everyone she is eternalSerena Williams definitely maybe returning (she's in the drug testing pool, babes)Jelena Djokovic inserting herself where nobody askedCarlos Alcaraz winning everything, breaking records, cramping, thrivingQueer history made on the ATPRising stars, comeback queens, GI distress, political statements via T-shirts, and one extremely icy handshakeAnd just when you think it's over, we pivot to the Grammys, Bad Bunny, dip-based Super Bowl planning, and a light call to mass-stream Michelle Obama's Becoming out of pure spite.Final verdict: The Australian Open 2026 was messy, moving, glamorous, infuriating, and extremely Out Wide. Tennis was played. Statements were made. Jellyfish were served. And ESPN still owes us emotional damages.

In this episode, we sit down with Geneva Long, CEO of Bowlus, to talk about legacy, passion, and the unexpected path that led her to revive one of America's most iconic RV brands.Nearly 100 years ago, the original Bowlus Road Chief helped inspire Airstream and changed the way the world thought about travel trailers. For decades, Bowlus existed mostly as legend. Today, it has been reborn as a luxury, design driven, off grid capable trailer that honors its past while embracing the future.Geneva's connection to Bowlus began long before she became CEO. As a young girl, she traveled with her parents in a lovingly restored 1935 Bowlus, an experience that sparked a lifelong love for the brand, the open road, and the craftsmanship behind it. That childhood journey stayed with her through a world class education at the Wharton School, and eventually led her back to Bowlus, not as a nostalgic fan, but as the leader guiding its next chapter. We recently did a full walk through review of the stunning modern Bowlus trailer, but after hearing Geneva's personal story, we knew it deserved its own spotlight. This conversation goes beyond RVs. It is about choosing legacy over convention, passion over the expected career path, and how one family road trip helped bring an American icon back to life.

SEASON 4 EPISODE 54: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: At this moment, the biggest threat to the future of democracy at this minute is Chuck Schumer. He and the other members of the milquetoast caucus of Senate Democrats are ready to give away their chance to turn MAGA's panic over the ICE murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti (and Keith Porter Jr) into a forced re-structure of the entire damnable structure. Instead of demanding a new organization with bipartisan control and a blanket ban on any activity near polling places or in fact in the week before an election, Schumer is willing to sell that for four trivial concessions. He's willing to forfeit the last chance to get these death squads off our streets in exchange for a "uniform code of conduct," the end of "roving patrols," the discontinuation of masks, and the use of body cameras. Because obviously the threat that ICE's next slaughter of an innocent bystander will be captured on video completely kept these Trump Death Squads from killing Alex Pretti. It's beyond Schumer's usual naiveté. It's criminally negligent. He shouldn't just be ousted as Minority Leader, he should be expelled from the Senate. Trump blames Bovino. Bovino blames Noem. Noem blames Miller. Miller blames Border Patrol. Roger Stone blames Lewandowski. Trump blames the 2nd Amendment. They're imploding, Chuck. Get out of their way, you moron. ROBERT FICO: Slovakia’s pro-Trump prime minister who last year spoke at CPAC (it's pronounced Fitso) was quoted by five Politico sources as having been shaken after a meeting with Trump on the 17th, alarmed by Trump's "psychological state" and convinced Trump was "out of his mind." Denials all around. (33:00) BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: If you didn't know, Saturday he wrote an ICE protest song. Uploaded it to social media yesterday. Calls 'em all out by name, including "King Trump." Chills. With Bruce's kind permission, we're playing it in the podcast. Superb stuff. I wish Bruce were Senate minority leader. B-Block (40:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: A News Nation moron reduces the death of Alex Pretti to a "scrum." Melania doesn't know her icons from her iconoclasts. And Katie Miller insists all Conservative women are far more attractive than all Liberal women. You have to give her credit: who knew she had gotten this far with such devastatingly impaired vision? C-Block (50:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Just past the anniversary, now 45 years, since a famed New York morning disc jockey responded to something I said on the air one hour by threatening to kill me, and then responded to something I said on the air the next hour by trying to hire me full-time on his station. The Ted Brown Saga - revisited. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

I talk to leaders every week. Six figures. Multiple six figures. Big teams. Big titles. And almost all of them are asking for the same thing. Not motivation. Not content. Not another tactic. They're asking for clarity and structure. A way to actually develop leaders without babysitting everyone. A system that creates duplication instead of dependence. In this episode, I break down the one thing leaders are asking for most right now, why it's missing in this profession, and how the illusion of leadership keeps people busy but stuck. Most leaders look successful on paper. But behind the scenes, their teams aren't duplicating. New leaders aren't emerging. Momentum depends on personality instead of systems. That's not a motivation problem. That's a leadership development problem.I also walk through exactly what I built to solve this.A 17-page leadership development framework. A custom GPT trained on all of my books and over 50 trainings. Not for hype. Not for content creation. But for helping leaders scale, simplify, and develop other leaders consistently. This work became the foundation for ICON Mastermind.ICON is application-only and built specifically for six-figure and multiple six-figure earners who are done collecting ideas and ready to build real leadership depth, real systems, and real duplication. If you're serious about leading at a higher level, you'll hear yourself in this episode.Apply here: www.theiconmastermind.com

A powerful and deadly winter storm took center stage as it swept across large portions of the U.S., leaving multiple states grappling with frigid temperatures, hazardous travel, widespread power outages, and tragic loss of life. Updated reports show at least 13 deaths linked to the storm, with significant snowfall blanketing regions from the Midwest to the Northeast, including over a foot in cities like New York and Boston. Millions have faced dangerous wind chills and more than 750,000 power outages as communities brace for prolonged recovery. Emergency responders continue urging caution as the storm’s effects linger, underscoring warnings that extreme cold remains a leading cause of weather‑related fatalities across the U.S. Meanwhile, Tracy Morgan became the focus of intense online conversation after a viral video captured him confronting a man who asked him for money—someone Morgan claimed bullied him in their youth. The exchange sparked widespread debate over compassion, boundaries, and celebrity responsibility, with Morgan asserting he “doesn’t owe” the individual anything. In entertainment news, Anthony Anderson confirmed his relationship with longtime friend Rocsi Diaz, sharing that the two have been close for 20 years and are now happily exploring a romantic chapter together.
