Encountering Jesus: Do you have to take a blind leap of faith to believe in God? Or, is there compelling evidence that God is real? This weekend I’ll explain arguments for God’s existence in a way that is understandable and shows that atheism is false. You will also find out the real reason many intelligent people don’t believe in God, and it has little to do with the facts. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be with you this weekend as we wrap up this years’ Be Ready Conference! Brett Kunkle. Brett is the founder and president of MAVEN (www.maventruth.com), a movement to equip the next generation to know truth, pursue goodness and create beauty. He has more than 25 years of experience working with youth and parents, and holds a Master’s degree in philosophy of religion and ethics from Talbot School of Theology. Brett lives with his wife and kids in Southern California.

BLESS - 1 Peter 3:15 & 2 Corinthians 10:5: This weekend at Foothills, we're hosting the Be Ready Conference and as part of our regular worship services, we'll welcome guest speaker and founder of CrossExamined.org, Dr. Frank Turek. Here's the scoop on what Dr. Turek will be sharing: To some, the concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical. Many view religion in general, and Christianity in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable. This weekend we'll learn that Christianity is not only more reasonable than all other belief systems, but is indeed more rational than unbelief itself. It's good to be a believer who knows why it's more than reasonable to believe in Jesus. I hope you'll be here to worship, be challenged and connect. After all, we're better together.
