Sean is a New York Times best-selling comics writer and Montana native who cut his teeth in the LA film scene. First up in this double header episode, the esteemed writer and entrepreneur, Sean E. Williams (Fairest, Sensation Comics, Artful Daggers, Vampire Diaries). Comicker is his brand new digital imprint and he brings insight into the modern face of digital publishing, through his background of writing for Monkeybrain and his current work on the groundbreaking Stela app. They talk about the diversity of the creators and stories he's picked for Comicker and what the future holds for print versions as well. The second half is a chat with the exceptional Joelle Jones. Her Dark Horse comic "Lady Killer" is a sleek and stylish masterpiece that combines her love of meticulous detail and some dirty violence. To say this beautifully crafted retro tale of gender roles and assassination invokes Mad Men doesn't begin to scratch the surface of how cool and fun it is. She also talks about her work on Cullen Bunn's horror epic "Hellheim" and working with Max Landis on "Superman: American Alien".
