Jeremy Bradley talks about the embarrassment of getting fired and spinning the story to make it sound like it's the employer's loss... and entirely your doing. He recounts the first time he was fired from a job and the impact it had on him. What's the story to tell your parents when you get turfed as a teen? "I quit, I couldn't handle the job anymore, mom," JB said. Did she believe him -- about the job he never once complained about? He discusses how employment standards have changed over time since that 1999 event.

Why High Achievers Need a Life Operating System You can win in business and still feel like you are losing yourself. In this Richer Soul conversation, Rocky Lalvani sits down with JB Glossinger, founder of MorningCoach, to talk about why so many high achievers feel stuck between outward success and inner dissatisfaction. JB shares how his early relationship with money, years of personal development work, and decades of coaching led him to build what he calls a Life Operating System. The goal is not just productivity. It is peace, perspective, and a better way to live. This episode is for the entrepreneur, executive, or ambitious builder who has learned how to perform, but is still trying to understand how to feel more aligned. JB explains why motivation fades, why cadence matters more, and why one of the biggest causes of stress is trying to close loops that were never meant to be closed. In This Episode: How childhood money stories shape adult patterns Why high achievers often hit a crisis of meaning The difference between reactive and deliberate living Why cadence beats motivation The concept of open loops and hidden stress How the Seven Ps help create daily clarity Why emotional intelligence matters more than information Key Insights: Success without a system creates friction, not freedom. Not everything in life is meant to be finished. You cannot say no with confidence until you know your direction. A calmer life is built through daily rhythm, not occasional intensity. Meaning grows when your actions match your values. Money Learnings from JB: He shares that he grew up hating money because it was tied to pain, struggle, and conflict in his home. That early experience shaped how he saw success, security, and self-worth. His story is a reminder that many of our financial patterns begin long before we ever earn a paycheck, and that real growth often starts by examining the beliefs about money we picked up as children. Why This Conversation Matters: Because a lot of successful people have learned how to achieve without ever learning how to live with peace. They know how to push harder, solve problems, and keep going, but they have not built a system that helps them align success with meaning. This episode matters because it challenges the listener to stop measuring life only by output and start asking whether the way they are living is actually sustainable, fulfilling, and true to who they want to become. About JB Glossinger: JB Glossinger is the founder of MorningCoach®, a professional operating system that has supported founders, CEOs, and high-performing professionals across 140 countries for over 21 years. With nearly 6,000 daily coaching episodes, he has created one of the longest-running daily platforms in the field, bringing together people from diverse cultures, industries, and continents through a shared approach to mission, planning, and execution. "I've never been into Pride -- or what used to be called Gay Pride but now is 'everything that isn't straight,'" says married gay man, Jeremy Bradley. He talks about how the over-the-top flamboyant spectacle isn't his scene -- and never has been. "I remember, before I was out, watching the news with my parents and the Pride parade came on. Seeing clown-makeup drag queens and guys being so feminine. I knew that wasn't a representation of me and I feared my parents would think I was 'one of them' when I had no desire to fem it up and wear a dress and paint my nails. I was just a guy who was attracted to guys." In recent years, Pride has become so commercialized that JB feels the true meaning has been lost. "At first, it was cool when corporations changed their logo to a rainbow but with that came them making money off of Pride. And what happens July 1? The roll up the rainbow swag and it's put away until next year."
The studio temperature dropped drastically and JB's farmers tan was on full display on tonights show as we discussed recent news, Mando and Grogu, Euphoria Season 3 and Spider-Man Noir. Come thru and chill!
How Soon Is Too Soon? How quickly can someone move on… before it starts to feel unbelievable? That question sparks one of the most jaw-dropping and emotionally charged episodes of The JB and Sandy Show yet—where “Free Phones” turns into a reveal of real-life stories that are equal parts shocking, heartbreaking, and unforgettable. Listeners call in with their own experiences after JB, Sandy, and Tricia dive into a headline about a spouse remarrying just months after a partner's death. What follows is a cascade of stories that leave even the hosts stunned. One moment that hits especially hard: “Ten days after she passed away… he announced he was in love with her best friend.” It's the kind of revelation that stops the conversation cold—and opens the door to a deeper discussion about grief, timing, and what feels “too soon.” But this episode isn't just emotional—it's packed with the unexpected moments and humor listeners love. From a caller who spends an hour and a half decompressing in his truck before work to a fascinating peek into crime lab analysis from a state worker counting down the days to retirement, “Free Phones” delivers authentic, unscripted connection. And then—because this is The JB and Sandy Show—the tone shifts in the best way. The team celebrates Longhorn softball with one of the wildest superstitions you've ever heard: A player who eats a ladybug before games for good luck… and then hits home runs. Yes, really. And yes, it's working.Sports, nostalgia, and a little friendly betting round out the hour, including a heated (and pricey) look at NBA Finals tickets and Sandy's no-emotion approach to wagering: “I'm a business guy… I don't put any emotion into these decisions.” It's a rollercoaster episode—moving from deeply personal to laugh-out-loud funny, with the kind of genuine moments you can't script and won't forget. Why You Should Listen Real listener stories that will leave you speechless Honest conversations about love, loss, and moving on Off-the-wall sports superstitions that actually work Classic JB & Sandy humor, chemistry, and surprises If this episode made you think, laugh, or gasp out loud—don't keep it to yourself. The Mystery Finally Cracked—And You Won't Believe Who Solved It!What happens when a week-long on-air mystery finally gets cracked… by the one person no one expected? This episode of The JB and Sandy Show delivers everything fans love—laugh-out-loud moments, local pride, unexpected twists, and that signature chemistry between JB, Sandy, and Tricia that keeps Austin tuning in. We kick things off with Tricia's first laugh of the day—an awkwardly hilarious social experiment that sparks a relatable conversation about feeling completely out of place. Sandy admits, “There's nothing hip about me at all,” setting the tone for a candid (and funny) deep dive into imposter syndrome at “cool” hangouts. From there, the crew jumps into a fast-paced round of Care Don't Care, where they weigh in on everything from celebrity honors to major shopping events. One standout moment? The reaction to Idris Elba being knighted, leading to the unforgettable line: “In your country you're ‘sir,' over here… you're Brad.” But the real heart of the episode builds around the Mystery Oldie—a song that had listeners stumped for an entire week. Just when it seems like no one can solve it, the answer comes out of nowhere… and completely flips expectations. The reveal is as surprising as it is satisfying, with one of the hosts admitting, “I thought for sure that was someone else.” Along the way, there's plenty of Austin flavor—from excitement around a brand-new downtown walkway opening to celebrating the University of Texas softball team on the brink of another national championship. It's a perfect blend of community, culture, and conversation. And don't miss the high-energy Minute to Win It game, where a local caller races against the clock in a hilariously simple (but nerve-wracking) trivia challenge. As JB puts it, “Ten ridiculously easy questions”—but somehow, the pressure makes it anything but! This episode is a reminder of why mornings with JB, Sandy, and Tricia feel like catching up with friends—unfiltered, unpredictable, and always entertaining.

Are Robot Dogs Taking Over… and Why Are Adults Fighting Over Pokémon Cards?” That's just the beginning of this wildly entertaining episode of The JB and Sandy Show, where everyday moments spiral into unforgettable conversations, laugh-out-loud confessions, and a few “wait… what just happened?” headlines. The crew kicks things off with relatable family chaos as JB and Sandy joke about parenting wins, competitive credit-taking, and the reality of raising teenagers. Tricia delivers the first laugh of the day with a line that hits home for every parent: “You're a good mom… those kids don't listen—they probably get it from their dad.” In “Care or Don't Care,” the team dives into some of the strangest and funniest trending stories—including a near-brawl at a grocery store Pokémon vending machine… and yes, adults were the problem. As Sandy puts it, “Adult collectors ruin it for kids,” sparking a conversation about nostalgia, obsession, and how far is too far. Then, they break down the upcoming global soccer tournament in a way that even casual fans can follow—highlighting favorites, underdogs, and the surprising introduction of robot dogs patrolling event security. JB's reaction says it all: “Even the dogs are losing their jobs to AI.” The energy ramps up with Minute to Win It, where listener Teresa keeps her cool under pressure and scores big—proving that sometimes all it takes is quick thinking and a little confidence to walk away a winner. The CFL season is finally here! With final roster cuts now complete, the guys break down the most surprising decisions Toronto made, including the departures of Aaron Casey, Anthony Vandal, and Peyton Logan. They also take a position-by-position look at the 2026 Argonauts and discuss how the roster stacks up heading into the season. The biggest news of the week may have come after final cuts, as Toronto signed former Winnipeg Blue Bombers starting tackle Kendall Randolph. Ben and JB discuss why this could prove to be one of the most important additions of the offseason and what it means for the offensive line moving forward. The conversation then shifts to the CFL's new six-year television agreement, which keeps TSN as the league's primary broadcast partner while adding DAZN beginning in 2027. What does the deal mean for the future of the CFL and the league's financial outlook? Plus, despite coming off a Grey Cup championship just two seasons ago and returning a healthy Chad Kelly, the Argos are finding themselves near the bottom of many preseason power rankings. Ben and JB debate whether the skepticism is justified and offer their own expectations for the 2026 campaign.

Are You ‘Not Friendly'… or Just Done With People? THave you ever wanted to yell “not friendly!” just to avoid an awkward interaction? That question sets the tone for a wildly entertaining episode of The JB and Sandy Show, where everyday life gets hilariously dissected—and nothing is off limits. From unexpected dog encounters to viral food obsessions and the quirks of Austin living, this episode is packed with laugh-out-loud moments and relatable truths. Tricia kicks things off with a story that instantly resonates—borrowing a trick from dog owners by shouting “not friendly!” to keep people at bay. What starts as a funny workaround quickly turns into a bigger conversation about personal boundaries, public behavior, and those little moments that can flip your mood in seconds. The show dives into a mix of “care or don't care” topics that spark strong opinions. Ferrari's attempt to embrace electric vehicles raises eyebrows—“Where's the noise?”—while a discussion about relationship habits offers blunt, no-nonsense advice. Then comes a surprising confession from across America: people are obsessed with cheese. And honestly, who can blame them? Listeners also get a dose of Austin culture, as the crew reacts to a local controversy over changes at a beloved movie theater. The debate over nostalgia vs. modernization hits home, highlighting just how passionate people can be about their traditions. As one moment suggests, sometimes progress isn't always welcome—especially when it interrupts a good experience. The fun continues with one of the show's signature games, Minute to Win It, where a contestant proves that even the simplest questions can get intense under pressure. And in a segment that's become a fan favorite, “Cheeseburger Brock” returns with a mouthwatering recommendation that has everyone debating the ultimate burger experience. There are also unforgettable side moments—from a uniquely Austin-style dog-naming debate to a surprisingly addictive snack discovery that leads to the bold declaration: “It tastes exactly like a hamburger patty… but it's a chip.” It's these offbeat, spontaneous moments that make the show feel like you're hanging out with friends who always have something unexpected to say. Whether it's playful arguments, relatable frustrations, or just pure comedic timing, this episode captures the essence of what makes The JB and Sandy Show so addictive—real conversations, big laughs, and a little chaos along the way. “When ‘Sweet' Feels Cringe: Love Languages, Lake Travis Chaos & a Bridesmaid at 60 You Won't Forget” What if the sweetest compliment you could give your partner made them want to “turn themselves inside out”? That's exactly where this episode of The JB and Sandy Show kicks off—diving headfirst into one of the most hilariously unconventional “love languages” you'll ever hear. JB, Sandy, and Tricia unpack a relationship dynamic that flips romance on its head… where affection sounds more like discomfort—and somehow, it works. Then things take a jaw-dropping turn with a real-life story straight out of an action movie (minus the good decisions). A pilot buzzing boats on Lake Travis pushes things too far, leaving everyone asking: when does showing off cross the line into reckless? The fallout is wild—but the unexpected twist? The very people he startled end up rescuing him. Listeners also weigh in on what makes a relationship healthy—and not everyone agrees that traditional romance is the answer. One caller drops a perspective that might completely shift how you think about long-term love: “You're not faking it… you're just being yourselves.” And just wait until you meet JB's sister, Chris. She absolutely steals the show with a story that proves life doesn't slow down at 60—it just gets better. From being a bridesmaid decades later to her unforgettable one-liners, including, “For a fat girl like me, this is the golden ticket of Willy Wonka,” you'll be laughing the entire way through. Plus: A surprising stat about first dates that might make you rethink your next dinner outing A nostalgic (and slightly awkward) look at restaurant culture making a comeback And one painfully funny story about a first date meal that went very wrong
Would You Survive This Marriage… or Run for the Hills? “If love looks like sarcasm, separate bedrooms, and zero sappy moments… is that still a happy marriage?” That's the question that kicks off one of the most hilariously honest episodes of The JB and Sandy Show—and it only gets better from there. From the very first laugh, JB, Sandy, and Tricia pull you into a morning packed with relatable moments, unexpected confessions, and the kind of humor you don't hear anywhere else. It starts simple enough: why do we all pretend to do math in our heads while secretly hoping someone else answers first? One standout moment dives into the idea of “kidult playtime”—yes, adults reconnecting with childhood hobbies to relieve stress. While the idea sounds wholesome, the reactions are anything but. “I hated those things when I was a kid—I don't want to do them now,” becomes an instant classic line, sparking a conversation about what actually helps us unwind. Then there's the high-energy Minute to Win It game, where contestant Parker races against the clock to answer “ridiculously easy” questions—and nearly loses it all on the final one. The tension, the simplicity, and the payoff make it one of the most fun segments of the episode. But the real heart (and comedy gold) comes from Sandy and Tricia's marriage—a relationship that completely flips the script on what you'd expect. After 18 years together, romance isn't exactly their thing. They don't exchange sweet goodnights… they “shoot each other the finger.” They don't share a bedroom… and they wouldn't have it any other way. When Sandy tells Tricia, “You look so beautiful with the sunlight bouncing off your face,” her reaction? “Oh my God, what made you think of that? It just makes me want to turn it inside out.” It's brutally honest. It's wildly funny. And it raises a surprisingly thoughtful question: what does a successful relationship really look like? The episode wraps with an open call to listeners—are there other couples out there like this? Because if there are, JB and Tricia want to hear from you. Why You'll Want to Listen: Laugh out loud at painfully relatable everyday moments Hear one of the most unconventional (and entertaining) takes on marriage Play along with the easiest trivia game that somehow still feels stressful Get a dose of real, unfiltered morning radio chemistry Memorable Moments & Quotes: “If we're both doing math in our heads, I'm just pretending—it's all on you.” “I hated those things when I was a kid. I don't want to do them now.” “We did not marry our best friend.” “It just makes me want to turn it inside out.” If this episode made you laugh, cringe, or nod in agreement, don't keep it to yourself—subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs a good laugh today. Your support helps more listeners find the chaos and comedy of JB and Sandy!
“Would You Fail 10 ‘Ridiculously Easy' Questions… or Walk Away a Winner?” Fresh off the long weekend, JB, Sandy, and Tricia bring the energy (and the laughs) as they dive headfirst into everything from post–Memorial Day sluggishness to hilariously relatable life observations. Tricia sets the tone early with a brutally honest—and funny—reminder: “Life can be tough, you guys, but you still gotta wear deodorant.” It's the kind of real talk that immediately pulls you in and sets the stage for an episode full of unexpected moments. One standout segment? The official kickoff of JB & Sandy's “98 Days of Summer”, where the team challenges listeners with 10 “ridiculously easy” questions in 60 seconds. Sounds simple… until the pressure is on. Listener Tina steps up to represent San Marcos in a high-stakes trivia moment that delivers both suspense and laughs. JB's playful warning—“If you fail at this, I'm gonna be really disappointed… in everybody in San Marcos”—raises the stakes and keeps everyone on edge. The episode also introduces a fan-favorite: Ryan, the pint-sized “small town reporter” with a surprisingly refined palate. His chicken tender review is oddly detailed and absolutely delightful, complete with an “8.2” rating and a confident breakdown of flavor and spice. It's charming, it's funny, and it's the kind of segment you'll be talking about long after the show ends. In Care or Don't Care, the crew tackles a mix of bizarre and heartwarming headlines—including a jaw-dropping 14,991-pound serving of guacamole and the story of a service dog earning a well-deserved “dog-ploma.” It's a perfect blend of absurdity and feel-good storytelling that keeps the conversation moving at a rapid, entertaining pace. And just when you think you've heard it all, the show pivots into a thought-provoking discussion: what's the third most commonly spoken language in Texas? The answer? Totally unexpected—and it sparks a conversation that's both eye-opening and surprisingly insightful. From laugh-out-loud moments to quirky trivia and heartfelt stories, this episode captures everything that makes The JB and Sandy Show such a must-listen. Don't miss out—hit subscribe, leave a review, and share this episode with someone who needs a good laugh today.
“Are you getting softer in your old age… or just finally letting yourself feel something?” That question sparks one of the most unexpectedly heartfelt openings we've had in a while—and it sets the tone for a rollercoaster episode of The JB and Sandy Show that swings from emotional to hilarious to downright wild. JB finds himself caught off guard by a moment that hit him hard—and fast. We're talking fifteen seconds flat. As he shares the story of a powerful locker room speech celebrating a former underdog turned team leader, the emotion is real, raw, and impossible to ignore. It's one of those moments that reminds you why sports (and life) can sneak up and get you right in the feels. As Sandy puts it, “We keep it on the inside, bro,” but this one? Not so much. Then, in true JB and Sandy fashion, the mood shifts into something uniquely Austin. The duo dives into one of the city's quirkiest hidden gems—a tiny, lovingly crafted park tucked into a concrete median. What started as a simple act of beautification has turned into a decade-long symbol of creativity and community. It's weird, wonderful, and perfectly Austin… complete with a few unexpected twists—including a ghost story that you won't see coming. But don't get too comfortable—because things take a sharp turn into chaos. We're talking about a growing trend that's turning heads (and causing headaches): groups of kids tearing through the streets on high-speed electric bikes. What's the line between fun and danger? And who's really responsible when things go sideways? The conversation gets real as JB and Sandy break down the risks, the mindset, and the growing concern for parents everywhere. And just when you think they've covered it all, Sandy delivers his signature rapid-fire poetry with “Ode to the Tuesday After Memorial Day”—a painfully relatable, laugh-out-loud reflection on returning to reality after a long weekend. One standout line says it all: “The inbox has multiplied overnight somehow… with 32 emails all marked urgent now.” Don't miss it—hit subscribe, leave a review, and share this episode with someone who needs a laugh (or a reality check after the long weekend).
