Pat and Cam are back in the saddle in our biggest episode to date, our guest, current Ring of Honor World Champion and NJPW Strong Open Weight Champion Eddie Kingston. Eddie is a professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling and has some insightful perspectives on mental health awareness. Eddie has always been open to discussing mental health even before he signed with AEW, many think this is part of a character but when you meet Eddie you realize, Eddie is Eddie always! Eddie gives the fans a piece of his heart every time he cuts a promo or steps in the ring and that is what fans love about him, you feel his energy with everything he does in wrestling. Even though Eddie is a larger than life star he is kind, humble and admits that he isn't perfect (none of us are). But Eddie emphasizes growth and resilience that help make him better most days. On this episode we discuss Eddie's mental health journey, some factors that pushed his personal growth, past Eddie vs. Present Eddie, the importance of a support system and how to handle adversity. We also get to hear some fun stories about Eddie living his dream wrestling in the G1 Climax in Japan (very prestigious tournament) as well as performing in front of 81,000 fans at Wimbley Stadium in London on AEW's All In show. Eddie is a dream guest of ours due to his advocacy (don't tell him we called him an advocate) in the mental health world and willingness to be a bad ass but also show vulnerability. Eddie's discussion about his past and journey really resonated with us and even if you're not a pro wrestling fan, we know everyone can see a little bit of themselves in Eddie. Huge thank you to Eddie Kingston for being generous with his time, coming on the show and letting everyone know you can overcome any challenge in your way. You can watch Eddie Kingston wrestle on AEW Dynamite on Wednesday's on TBS at 8pm EST and AEW Collision on Saturdays at 8pm EST on TNT, currently he is wrestling in the most prestigious tournament in North America, the Continental Classic which are covered on the showtimes above. Sometimes, life is just unfair. That was certainly the case this week with the shocking news that Bray Wyatt had passed away, only 24 hours after WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk passed away. Solomonster has a lot to say about both men, their careers, their most memorable matches and moments and the impact they made on the industry. Thanks to BetterHelp for sponsoring this week's episode!Welp, here we go again. After an excellent main event on AEW Collision last night, CM Punk couldn't help but take shots at Hangman Adam Page, which ended up overshadowing the show itself. Were his comments all part of a plan to get Punk and Page back in the ring at All Out next month? I would certainly hope so, but if not, Tony Khan is getting exactly what he paid for. And as AEW continues to break attendance records for it's Wembley Stadium show in two weeks, I've got a lot of thoughts about the card for the show so far, and the impact of running back-to-back PPVs like they're doing. Plus... when the Endeavor deal for WWE is now expected to be completed, Triple H being left off the new Board of Directors and why this "story" is really a whole lot of nothing... the latest on Bray Wyatt's recovery from his "life-threatening" illness, Randy Orton's return to the ring and Sonya Deville's ACL surgery, including my thoughts on how to handle the situation with the Women's tag team titles... Jimmy Uso explains himself on Smackdown, Jey Uso "leaves" WWE, thoughts on them possibly stretching this story out until WrestleMania 40 and the one thing I hope to see WWE do out of this with Roman Reigns... the end of Austin Theory as United States champion and what to do with him now... thoughts on the end of the G1 Climax, Sanada's injury and why Eddie Kingston has been the best story in wrestling this past month... and a full DARK SIDE OF THE RING season finale review on the cautionary tale of Marty Jannetty, including why The Rockers were fired after only two weeks in WWE, the incident with Chuck Austin being paralyzed in the ring, the vicious hotel room fight between Jannetty and Shawn Michaels, the Barber Shop Window incident, why their WrestleMania VIII match never happened, his short-lived WWE returns in 2005 and 2006 and what led to the end of both of them, and his Facebook tale about having murdered a man when Jannetty was only 13 years old... and YOUR QUESTIONS on how to get the Intercontinental title off Gunther at the Royal Rumble, is LA Knight this generation's DDP, what would have become of Brian Pillman had he returned to WCW, what to do if LA Knight continues to gain popularity and Cody Rhodes starts to falter, and what's the greatest unplanned moment in wrestling history?***Follow Solomonster on Twitter for news and opinion:http://www.twitter.com/solomonsterSubscribe to the Solomonster Sounds Off on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/user/TheSolomonster?sub_confirmation=1Become a Solomonster Sounds Off Channel Member:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9jcg7mk93fGNqWPMfl_Aig/joinThis show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/5582990/advertisement

The G1 Climax semi finals are set so STRIGGA & Dylan take a look back at the D & D Block finals that created very different emotional reactions and a very controversial match with EVIL and Shingo Takagi that STRIGGA compares to the likewise very controversial Mio Momono vs. Mayumi Ozaki match from Marvelous. The jury is out for The Eastern Lariat on SANADA as champion after the quarterfinals and another match with EVIL. After discussing the three G1 shows and knowing the semi finals, STRIGGA & Dylan lay out their scenarios for the G1 final, the tournament victory and who's going to walk into Wrestle Kingdom as IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. Things looked obvious before the tournament, then seemed obvious in the quarterfinals and now the obvious choices might not been those they go with.
