Welcome back to the Quarter Portion Podcast, the only Star Wars podcast that prefers to call it "aggressive negotiations!" At Forest City Comicon June 25th, Chris and Amy returned to Centennial Hall for a live panel discussion on Atttack of the Clones. Just as we did with The Phantom Menace three years ago, we examined the legacy of the divisive middle chapter of the Prequels from our initial reactions to our modern perspectives. Has it aged well? How do we perceive it differently after so many other Star Wars stories have buffered it? (Especially the series Obi-Wan Kenobi, which had just finished its first season that week.) How was its reception shaped by The Phantom Menace, The Matrix, and other films of 2002? And did Anakin hold on to his dramatic side when he became Vader? All of this and more will be answered within! Thank you to everyone in attendance, especially those who contributed the questions and comments you'll hear in this episode! * * * * * Follow the show on Facebook, on Twitter @kyberclub, and Instagram @quarterportionpodcast! We're coming to you this Canadian Thanksgiving weekend with an "unplugged" very lightly edited episode. We're serving up plates of gang members joining the police, a side of Hurricane Opal and for dessert, some killer bees. We're very thankful this week that the 'friend zone' didn't exist in the 90s and that 'zones' were a super cool thing back then. We also take a look at loners and loser and how they're really not a thing anymore, and this is actually kinda good. Let's all be thankful for The Geekery, this week's sponsor. Check them out at the Forest City Comic Con, in London Ontario, November 5th and 6th. They'll have lots of geeky goodies on display. It'll be a great time to do some Christmas shopping. etsy.com/ca/shop/TheGeekery42 If you want to be a $10 sponsor, email us at stuckinthe90spodcast@gmail.com for info. Lastly we're thankful for you, the listeners, for always being awesome.
