Pijn, ziekte, verlies, ouderdom en dood lijken me te bedreigen. Al mijn hoop, al mijn wensen en plannen lijken overgeleverd aan de genade van een wereld waarover ik geen controle heb. Toch zijn volmaakte veiligheid en volledige vervulling mijn erfgoed. Ik heb geprobeerd mijn erfgoed weg te geven in ruil voor de wereld die ik zie. Maar God heeft mijn erfgoed veilig voor mij bewaard. Mijn eigen werkelijke gedachten zullen mij leren wat het is.(27) Ik wil niets liever dan zien.Omdat ik inzie dat wat ik zie een weerspiegeling is van wat ik denk te zijn, besef ik dat visie mijn grootste behoefte is. De wereld die ik zie, getuigt van het angstwekkende karakter van het zelfbeeld dat ik heb gevormd. Als ik mij herinneren wil wie ik ben, is het noodzakelijk dat ik dit beeld van mezelf laat gaan. Wanneer dit door de waarheid wordt vervangen, zal visie mij zeker worden geschonken. En met deze visie zal ik met mildheid en liefde de wereld en mezelf beschouwen.(28) Ik wil niets liever dan anders zien.De wereld die ik zie, houdt mijn angstwekkende zelfbeeld in stand en garandeert de voortzetting ervan. Zolang ik de wereld zie zoals ik die nu zie, kan de waarheid niet tot mijn bewustzijn doordringen. Ik wil graag dat de deur achter deze wereld voor mij geopend wordt, zodat ik daarachter de wereld kan zien die een weerspiegeling is van de Liefde van God.(29) God is in alles wat ik zie.Achter elk beeld dat ik heb gevormd, blijft de waarheid onveranderd. Achter elke sluier die ik neergelaten heb over het gelaat van de liefde, blijft het licht daarvan ongetemperd. Achter al mijn waanzinnige wensen ligt mijn wil, verenigd met de Wil van mijn Vader. God is nog altijd en voorgoed overal en in alles. En wij die deel zijn van Hem, zullen uiteindelijk voorbijzien aan alle verschijningsvormen en de waarheid herkennen achter elk.(30) God is in alles wat ik zie, want God is in mijn denkgeest.In mijn eigen denkgeest, achter al mijn waanzinnige gedachten van afscheiding en aanval, ligt de kennis dat alles eeuwig één is. De kennis van Wie ik ben, heb ik niet verloren door die te vergeten. Ze is voor mij bewaard in de Denkgeest van God, die Zijn Gedachten niet verlaten heeft. Hallways are often used to represent in-betweenness, where characters pause, confront tension, or undergo change, often evoking themes of isolation, fear, inner exploration, and transformation. Some of the most iconic scenes in Star Wars have taken place in hallways: we all know Luke's hallway scene, Vader's hallway scene, even Rey's hallway scene...but let's not forget about Obi-Wan's hallway scenes - because there are MANY - and there all epic! We counted as many "hallway fight scenes" we could go back and research, trying to dissect all of the halls that Obi-Wan has fought his way out of. How many, you ask? Hoe lyk die werklikheid van vaderskap in ons huise?  Doen ons die nodige om ons kinders te begelei en ons seuns as manne van God te herder, op te voed en te ondersteun in al die verskillende fasette van hul lewe en geestelike groei?   Maak ons moeite met ons kinders, of laat ons daardie werk maklik aan ons vrouens oor as dit te emosioneel of geestelik van aard is?  Staan ons die bybelse mandaat af aan diegene wat gretig is om ons kinders af te rokkel, negatief te beinvloed, en die verskriklike groot gaping met wêreldse invloed te vul?  Wie het die gesin en die opdrag vir vaders as  die hoof van hul gesinne ingestel?  Hoekom verbrokkel die gesin en word kinders goddeloos en afvallig van God die Vader?  Hoe kan ons werklik gehoorsaam en verantwoordelik in die rol van vaderskap begin staan? Hoe draai ons die groot krisis van vaderloosheid om in Suid-Afrika, sodat ons God kan verheerlik, en ons kinders die voorreg het om Hom as vader te leer ken en te dien?

Niets wat jij denkt te zien, vertoont enige gelijkenis met wat visie jou zal tonen.Jij denkt met de Denkgeest van God. Zodoende deel jij jouw gedachten met Hem, zoals Hij de Zijne deelt met jou. Het zijn dezelfde gedachten, omdat ze door dezelfde Denkgeest worden gedacht. Delen is eender of één maken. En de gedachten die jij denkt met de Denkgeest van God verlaten jouw denkgeest niet, want gedachten verlaten niet hun bron. Daarom zijn jouw gedachten in de Denkgeest van God, evenals jij. Ze huizen ook nu nog in je denkgeest, volkomen onveranderd. Ze zullen altijd in je denkgeest zijn, precies zoals ze dat altijd waren. Alles wat je sindsdien gedacht hebt zal veranderen, maar de Grondslag waarop het rust is volkomen onveranderlijk.Op deze Grondslag nu zijn de oefeningen voor vandaag gericht. Hier is jouw denkgeest verenigd met de Denkgeest van God. Hier zijn jouw gedachten een met de Zijne. Voor dit soort oefening is maar één ding nodig: benader het zoals je een altaar benaderen zou dat in de Hemel aan God de Vader en God de Zoon is gewijd. Want zodanig is de plaats die jij probeert te bereiken. Je zult waarschijnlijk nog niet in staat zijn te beseffen hoe hoog jij tracht te reiken. Maar zelfs met het kleine beetje inzicht dat je al verworven hebt, zou je in staat moeten zijn jezelf voor te houden dat dit geen loos spel is, maar een oefening in heiligheid en een poging het Koninkrijk der Hemelen te bereiken.Probeer in de korte oefenperioden vandaag te onthouden hoe belangrijk het voor jou is om de heiligheid te begrijpen van de denkgeest die denkt met God.
