This (extremely explicit) episode went off the rails almost immediately. Reggae star Leilani Wolfgramm returns for a hana hou performance on the MnF Podcast. This time, she took off the training wheels and got real from the start. We invited our favorite bartender from the Wave Waikiki and owner of the hottest new for-hire Bebber bartender, the Soda Pop Mobile Bar service in Honolulu. Danny mixes up some Disney magic as Leilani dishes on being a princess, getting fired from literally every job she's ever had - which might be why being a solo music artist is the most important thing in her life. She shares a few tracks from her new album Live Wire and gets deep about her inspiration. Get real, get drunk, get real drunk with Leilani Wolfgramm, and friends on this episode of the Maleko & Flash podcast. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/maleko-and-flash/support
If anyone expected Leilani to keep it anything but all the way real with us during this podcast then you are out of your mind. We speak about her current Live Wire tour, the evolution of her music, nerds vs. dweebs and much more. Similar to the recent Live Wire album, Leilani does not hold back in discussing anything. In fact, by the end we all became friends. I think? Also, we get an impromptu phone call from an up and coming reggae rock star; listen to find out who. For the second half we review all the new music from last week and discuss the trending news in our reggae rock world. Also, Evan serves a suspension. A viral song leak was all it took for Hawai'i to discover Leilani Wolfgramm, but her story doesn't start there. She talks playing in and getting kicked out of her brother's reggae band, gigging for dollars, reading a room, and discovering home in Hawai'i. She describes the shock & awe of presenting with Boys II Men at the Island Music Awards, and she plays us a couple of impromptu jams (including a Bishop Briggs cover), and we are blown away. Plus Island 98.5's Big Koa drops in to see what a real interview sounds like. Mo from Moku Kitchen mixes up Mai Tais and Cobblers, and by the end of this episode... everyone is feeling the love. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/maleko-and-flash/support
Our #WildWahine "Hot Yoga" turned out to be Leilani Wolfgramm!!
Leilani Wolfgramm is an Orlando based Reggae artist inspired by Bob Marley’s profound ability to inject his music with social commentary. Wolfgramm’s new album "Live Wire" captures that narrative and navigates topics like what she believes is a narcissistic society, depression, loss and more. Jesse Menendez spoke with Leilani about her beginnings and her new album.
Soja dials in to the Wake Up Crew and talks about new single that took 2 years to finish, album, tour, dating Leilani Wolfgramm and more...
