Um das Rätsel Freddy Quinn zu entschlüsseln, haben wir mit Daniel Böcking, dem Autor seiner Autobiografie, und mit Biograf Elmar Kraushaar gesprochen.Bereits 2011 erschien das Buch "Freddy Quinn: Ein unwahrscheinliches Leben" von Elmar Kraushaar im Atrium Verlag. In akribischer Recherche setzt er den Mythen ein echtes Bild eines erfolgreichen Sängers und Entertainers entgegen.Der Journalist Daniel Böcking hatte die Gelegenheit, Freddy Quinns Lebensgeschichte persönlich nach Interviews mit ihm aufzuschreiben. 2025 erschien so die Autobiographie des mittlerweile 94-jährigen Superstars, der Deutschlands Musikwelt über vier Jahrzehnte geprägt hat. "Freddy Quinn. Wie es wirklich war" erschien in der Edition Koch. Daniel Böcking hat uns auch den kurzen Clip von Freddy Quinn mit dessen Erlaubnis zur Verfügung gestellt. In part 2 of our series on the 5th house in astrology we look at examples of famous people that have the ruler of the Ascendant in the fifth house in their birth chart, with astrologers Chris Brennan and Leisa Schaim. The fifth house is traditionally associated with a wide range of topics in astrology such as children, creativity, pleasure, romance, sex and sexuality, games, and good fortune. In ancient astrology, the Ascendant was sometimes called the helm of the ship of the native's life, and the ruler of the Ascendant was said to be the captain. The house where the captain of the chart is located can tell you a lot about where the life is being directed, and in this episode we explore what happens when the life is directed towards the topics of the fifth house. Over the course of the episode, we explore more than 50 example charts of famous people who have the ruler of the Ascendant in the fifth house in order to demonstrate how this placement can play out in a number of different ways. Some of the charts we look at include those of actors, directors, musicians, comedians, athletes, writers, artists, and more. Through this survey, we are able to see many different concrete manifestations of the fifth house archetype, and develop a more well-rounded and grounded understanding of its meaning. This is the second of a three-part series on the fifth house, which is itself part of our larger series where I've been doing a deep dive on the twelve houses in astrology.
