After Balcony Girl or Chair Girl turned herself in to Toronto police on Feb 13th 2019 and was grilled by everyone on the internet for the stunt that could have hurt someone. After Chair Girl's identity was revealed to be Marcella Zoia and she would delete all of her social media accounts, including @marcellazoia_ on instagram but someone would start one up in her name titled @torontochairgirl.After popular YouTuber Phillip De Franco would coin the girl as Balcony Becky.

Chair girl, Marcella Zoia was finally sentenced, and faces two years of probation. Turns out this guy who made a false claim regarding coronavirus on a flight to Jamaica was just trying to make a viral video. Cool, right? Marcella Zoia, also known as "chair girl" was late to her court hearing today, which was not a good look. Plus, Standard Bar is a new hidden speakeasy connected to Parkdale Pizza.

The man who turned around a WestJet flight from Toronto to Jamaica on Monday just two hours into the flight says he did it in an attempt to go viral. On the flight the 29 year old man stood up and announced he had contracted the coronavirus on a recent trip to China. The man then proceeded to take selfies. Turns out, it was a prank. The man did not have the virus, and though the pilot thought it was a hoax to begin with, they still had to follow protocol. Two other flights were cancelled due to the incident. The Thornhill man has since been charged with mischief.  The woman who has become known as “chair girl” who also went to extremes for online attention is in the news again today.
