On the Front Line in the Cosmic Conflict by Chaute A Johnson https://www.amazon.com/Front-Line-Cosmic-Conflict/dp/B0H7F969NQ https://pagepublishing.com/books/?book=on-the-front-line-in-the-cosmic-conflict Step into the gritty streets of Brooklyn, New York, where twenty-two-year-old Steve Roberts teeters on the brink of ruin. Cast out by an abusive stepfather and failed by a world that offers him no sanctuary, Steve faces eviction and despair–a young man with nowhere left to turn. His mother, Georgia, yearns to help but is shackled by her own chains of fear and oppression. Alone and desperate, Steve reaches for solace in a bottle–but this is no ordinary drink. The spirit he consumes is real, its presence terrifying and seductive, an actual demonic force whispering promises of rescue while tightening its grip around his soul. While Steve’s life spirals downward, a young intern pastor named Matthew Day begins his own journey at the Good News Worship Center. Riddled with insecurities and overwhelmed by the demands of ministry, Matthew questions his calling and his worth. But when God draws him into Steve’s unfolding nightmare, Matthew is forced out of the pulpit and onto the true front lines–where compassion is forged in pain, and every prayer is a battle cry against the encroaching dark. As the battle for Steve’s soul crescendos, demonic powers and prayer collide in a war that neither man expected. Steve must decide whether to surrender to the darkness or risk everything for a glimmer of hope. Matthew must discover whether faith is just a word, or a weapon forged for impossible fights. In On the Front Line in the Cosmic Conflict, experience a riveting novel where supernatural evil meets steadfast faith. Lives will shatter. Hearts will awaken. And in the crucible of spiritual war, redemption becomes the greatest victory. Will Steve break free from the spirit’s grip? Can Matthew rise above his doubts and become the shepherd he’s meant to be? When the forces of heaven and hell collide on the streets of Brooklyn, only the brave will stand–on the front line.
