Episode 72 of the Gangstercast is a live recording from Output Club in Brooklyn, orchestrated by the US house duo Cocodrills. Christian "Pridef" Diaz and Adam Cruz pride themselves on creating a unique musical experience, which can only be just that; experienced. But make sure to leave your pretense at the door 'cause you won't find any bullshit at one of their parties; only funky grooves, positive vibes and rampant debauchery. When speaking to the guys we asked what house music means to them, they answered “sick beats, positive vibes and just a general way of life”. They went on to say ‘The House Gangster movement is beyond just music and more of a state of mind. It's about how you carry yourself and your overall taste in things”. Now, as we approach the end of 2013, we're stoked to be unveiling our shiny new Egg London Podcast series. This gives you, the discerning beat disciple, the opportunity to hear our sound wherever you may be in the world. Episode 1 comes from a bona fide legend in the scene, step up Visionquest and Desolat gal Cassy!  We caught up with Cassy for a quick-fire interview to pick her brains about the mix and her NYE performance here at Egg for The One. 1) Where, how and on what was the mix recorded? It was specially recorded live from from residency at Output Club here in NYC. 2) What are your highlights from 2013 so far? Any stand out moments? Stand out moments for me this year has to be the whole season in Ibiza. All my gigs were great and it felt so good living on the island for the summer. 3) On NYE you'll be performing for the first time here at Egg alongside Circoloco favourite Tania Vulcano. You've also been a regular fixture at Circoloco over the years do you plan to bring some of that magic to London for The One's NYE special? I'm sure it's going to be a very magical night and I'm very excited about being a part of it. 4) What can we expect from your set? Any secret weapons or unreleased cuts you plan to drop? No secret weapons just me! I never know in advance what I will be playing. It's about the moment, the atmosphere, the people and the vibe.  I will play the music I really really love. 5) Anything else you'd like to shout about? My remix for Philippe Quenum is out now. It's a remix I did for one of his tracks on his album ‘face to face'.  I've been playing it a lot lately. Cassy will spin alongside Tania Vulcano, wAFF, Pirupa and a special guest headliner for The One's NYE special here at Egg. Live set recorded at Output Club in Brooklyn NY, warming up the dancefloor for the legendary Duo "MURK" (Oscar G. & Ralph Falcon). Output has become one of the best clubs in America, it was so great to play in that room with such an amazing sound system, beautiful crowd and a lot of good feelings, I can't wait to be back..
