Every pump user knows they should have a backup plan. But how prepared are you actually if your pump stops working tonight?Lauren found out the hard way when one task she'd been putting off left her without a working pump and scrambling to switch back to injections before bed. What seemed manageable quickly turned into a middle-of-the-night diabetes disaster and a reminder that having backup insulin isn't the same thing as being prepared to use it.In this solo episode, Lauren shares what went wrong, what she wishes she had done differently, and the simple backup plan every pump user should have ready before they actually need it. She also gets into the aftermath of a really rough diabetes night and how she moves forward after riding the rollercoaster.WHAT WE COVER:How a supply pickup Lauren kept putting off snowballed into a sleepless night fighting blood sugars in the 300sThe small mistake that left Lauren without a working pump at the worst possible timeHow a seemingly simple switch back to injections turned into blood sugars nearing 400 overnightThe backup-plan mistake Lauren didn't realize she'd made until 3 a.m.The 4 things every pump user should have ready before something goes wrongHow Lauren handles the physical and mental “blood sugar hangover” after a really rough diabetes dayWHAT'S NEXT:
Mikal Aune and James Derrick unpack the mechanics behind oil's predictive value for inflation and interest rates. They compare today's situation with 2008, noting that while gas and crude would need to rise substantially to match that crisis in real terms, structural differences matter: the U.S. now produces roughly 30% of global oil versus 8% in 2008. That shift means more domestic corporate earnings from energy firms, cushioning some effects and benefiting diversified portfolios. Still, sustained high oil prices increase vulnerability to a recession by draining consumer excess and constraining the Fed's policy, potentially keeping mortgage and auto rates elevated for longer.

Bitcoin spent last week consolidating after its huge move higher, and Craig sees the lack of a major snapback as a positive sign. The weekly candle finished essentially flat, even after selling following Warsh's Jackson Hole comments, leaving Bitcoin surprisingly strong but too messy for Craig to trade right now. Instead of forcing a position, he's waiting for Bitcoin to establish cleaner trend and cyclicity before getting involved again. While Bitcoin sorts itself out, Craig is searching deeper in the market for the structures he prefers: strong trends, clean pullbacks, good cyclicity, and momentum. He highlights Pump.fun as an example of that structure and discusses Zora, CHIP, and ZRO as charts showing characteristics he watches for, while emphasizing that these are examples rather than trade recommendations. For now, the strategy is simple: stay patient, trade where the clean trends are, and wait for Bitcoin's next leg. Happy Hodling, Everyone. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

In this provocative episode of ReversABLE, Josh Dech sits down with physician Dr. Tom Cowan for a wide-ranging conversation about disease, scientific reasoning, the heart, viruses, bacteria, environmental exposures, hormones, and the assumptions underlying conventional medicine. Cowan describes his unusual path into medicine, including 37 years in family practice, and explains the philosophy that drives much of his work: rather than immediately trying to determine what is true, first investigate whether the original claim has actually been demonstrated. That framework takes the conversation into controversial territory. Cowan challenges conventional explanations surrounding viruses and germ theory, using examples involving polio, measles, SARS-CoV-2, bacteria, antibodies, and laboratory procedures. He argues that some commonly accepted demonstrations of causation do not establish what they are claimed to establish. These are among the most contentious claims in the episode and are presented as Cowan's perspective rather than settled medical consensus. The discussion then shifts into physiology, where Cowan challenges the conventional description of the heart as a pressure-propulsion pump. He presents his theory of the heart as part of a vortex-based circulatory system and connects that concept to blood flow, pressure differentials, tissue-level physiology, and electrically charged water. Josh and Tom also explore mold, parasites, bacteria, environmental toxins, EMFs, inflammation, and the question of whether the presence of a microorganism necessarily establishes it as the root cause of illness. One of the most compelling themes throughout the conversation is critical thinking: separating observation from interpretation, correlation from causation, and established evidence from assumptions. For anyone interested in gut health, chronic illness, inflammation, the microbiome, immune system, root-cause health, functional medicine, or simply questioning how medical conclusions are reached, this episode offers a conversation designed to challenge your assumptions—and encourage you to investigate the claims for yourself. You likely see this controversial tool as a novelty, but it is actually a legitimate medical workout for your health.Without regular blood flow and exercise, sensitive tissue can weaken, lose elasticity, and even shrink over time. You will also learn how proper usage can stimulate blood flow, prevent scar tissue, and improve size.Hit play now to uncover the exact protocols you need to optimize your performance and protect your long-term vitality.--------------Key TakeawaysAn FDA-approved penis pump functions as gym equipment to train and strengthen erectile tissue.Inactivity and a lack of regular blood flow cause penile muscle shrinkage and stiff scar tissue.Daily pumping protocols boost nitric oxide, improve nerve conduction, and treat erectile dysfunction.Consistent usage can safely add up to an inch in both length and girth over time.Dedicated schedules vary from twice daily for ED rehabilitation to three times weekly for general maintenance.Generous lubrication on both the shaft and the cylinder base ensures an airtight, safe seal.Pressing the cylinder firmly against the pubic bone creates proper vacuum suction.Pulling the scrotum downward prevents the testicles from getting drawn into the cylinder during use.A slow pumping pace should never exceed 10 mmHg on the pressure gauge.Minor initial discomfort is normal and improves quickly with consistent practice.--------------Resources mentioned:Modern Man CribMediterranean DietGood Morning Wood SmoothieRenew with Dr. Anne--------------Curious about how you can boost your bedroom game and build lasting confidence? EPISODE DESCRIPTION I sat down with Rick Thomas, co-CEO of OnRamper, to dig into a problem most crypto projects hit eventually: on-ramping is way more complicated than it looks. OnRamper aggregates over 30 on-ramping services into a single API and widget, giving wallets, exchanges, neo banks, and trading apps full global coverage without the headache of managing dozens of integrations. Rick breaks down why the on-ramp market is so fragmented, how their AI-powered routing algorithm maximises success rates across countries and payment methods, why KYC is still the biggest bottleneck in the space, and where the whole fiat-to-crypto journey is heading as TradFi and on-chain finance continue to merge. We also get into their identity layer product, the no-KYC card world and its risks, where we are in the current market cycle, and what OnRamper is building next. Welcome to The Chopping Block, where crypto insiders Haseeb Qureshi, Tom Schmidt, Tarun Chitra, and Robert Leshner chop it up about the latest in crypto. This week, crypto streamer and trading/markets influencer threadguy joins the crew to translate what is happening in the trenches, from market-open streams and social trading apps to public PnL and Gen Z's appetite for risk. The conversation starts with a challenge to crypto's old guard: today's lowest-cap markets look less like clicking a few ICOs and more like playing Fortnite with token scanners, wallet trackers, and social feeds all firing at once. From there, threadguy breaks down the fight between FOMO and Pump.fun, why the winner may be whoever owns the trader graph, and how one visible winning trade can turn an unknown wallet into a market-moving celebrity. Haseeb questions whether Robinhood has actually brought new money onchain, Tarun and Robert revisit the hidden counterparty risks of early crypto, and the group imagines a future in which AI agents launch protocols, raise capital, and transact without a human-facing interface. China just made its first mid-month liquidity injection in history — $52 billion overnight — while state funds pour billions more into a market down 21% from its June highs. That money is chasing the AI trade, not crypto, and CXMT just became the most valuable company in the country while its own index bled. We break down what China is really protecting, where the liquidity is actually going, and why crypto is getting left behind. Taboo to Truth: Unapologetic Conversations About Sexuality in Midlife
If you're exhausted, your gut is expanding, your motivation is gone, and your sex drive has quietly disappeared, someone has probably told you it's male menopause. In this episode of Taboo To Truth, I explain why the term Male Menopause isn't medically accurate, how men's hormonal aging differs from women's, what low testosterone actually feels like versus what just looks like it, and when a symptom deserves a doctor instead of a supplement. I get into the research on testosterone replacement therapy, the difference between libido and erectile function, the tools I recommend for supporting sexual function, and what happens in a relationship when desire changes and nobody talks about it. Your sexuality isn't controlled by one number on a blood test, and getting older doesn't mean the end of desire, pleasure, or satisfying sex.In This Episode:00:00 Intro00:13 Welcome to Taboo to Truth00:35 What We're Covering Today01:41 Does Male Menopause Actually Exist?03:22 Male vs. Female Hormonal Aging04:30 What Low Testosterone Actually Feels Like05:42 Other Causes That Mimic "Male Menopause"06:46 Testosterone, Desire & the 2017 Trials08:24 Libido vs. Erections: Two Different Systems09:51 Tools That Support Sexual Function11:27 How This Affects Your Relationship12:37 When to See a Doctor13:44 How Low T Is Actually Diagnosed15:06 TRT: Benefits & Risks16:49 What Else You Can Do18:17 So...
