End of an era and beginning of a new! Today we are joined with Sammy Younan (the founder of Girth Radio)with the very last recording within our former home The Pacific Junction Hotel. This episode isn't as sad as you would expect. We talk about how following an untraditional path you need to roll with the punches, expect the unexpected, and keep the fire burning. We dedicate this episode to anyone who is currently going through a difficult change or transition in their lives. Keep your head up, ride out the waves, and never let the bumps in the road fully sidetrack you from the true calling within your heart.
Hail to the fuckin Queens baby! On this episode we are joined with our pals Saxon and Emery from the Pacific Junction Hotel. This is one of the last episodes to be recorded in the beloved PJH. They were such a big part behind the scenes of the show and we needed to get them on the mic to further capture the legacy before we embarked on our new adventure. What was expected was a lot of silliness/laughter, and it started out that way, but mid way through the episode we shift deeper and deeper into heavier subjects such as, gender identity, human energy, and the afterlife. Such a great talk!
In this heartfelt episode we are joined with Ayesha Taylor to both celebrate and mourn the end of an era. To fill you in The Pacific Junction Hotel bar and home of the studio that we record in has been SOLD. Ayesha is not only the general manager of PJH but she is also an incredible photographer, videographer, consultant and amazing mind that strives at mixing both creativity and business practices. Her spirit is one of the many factors that pushed PJH to be a second home for so many "Misfit" creatives. We talk about what made that place so magical, raise a glass, shed some tears, and say goodbye in this very special conversation.

In2Deep: https://soundcloud.com/in2deepofficial In2Deep is an Egyptian Montreal-based duo created out of both members’ instinctive desire to write and share their music. Their sets are expressive journeys distinguished by their emotional yet groovy edge, blending house, techno and anything in between, all while maintaining a natural flow through impeccable mixing and programming. Their versatile DJing style has resulted in them sharing bills with some of the world’s most revered selectors over the years. Running alongside DJing has been a parallel career as producers, where the pair have long experimented with synth sounds and drumloops. Today their work has grown to encompass a number of releases on labels such as Akbal, Musik Gewinnt Freunde and Seven Villas. Their success in the studio is exemplified by collaborating with artists such as YokoO and Pablo Bolivar and earning praise by connoisseurs like Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Lee Burridge. In late 2013, their ear for good music was put to good use when they decided to launch their own label imprint, L’enfant terrible, which has since featured an array of new and established artists as well as a few of their own tracks and remixes. With a new sister label now in the works, 2017 looks to be another busy year for In2Deep. ▲▲▲ Secret Society Sessions is a show broadcasted live every Wednesday 6-9pm.
