Send us a textAre We Dressing for a Fashion Show or a Spiritual Battle? – Unshakeable: A Daily Christian Devotional PodcastBroadcasting live from London, England, Reverend Ben Cooper delivers a stirring devotional asking believers: are you dressing for a fashion show—or preparing for a spiritual battle?Episode DescriptionToo many Christians today wear “plastic faith” that looks good on the outside but collapses under real pressure. The modern church often resembles a catwalk, focused on performance and appearance, while neglecting the deeper work of preparation. Yet Scripture is clear: our fight is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:10-18). The only way to stand firm is by putting on the full armor of God.This message reveals why so many believers feel exhausted, defeated, and spiritually drained despite their best efforts. The problem is not that the enemy is too strong—it is that we are improperly dressed for the battle. Faith built on performance melts under pressure, but faith anchored in Christ stands firm.Biblical Foundation"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." — Ephesians 6:10-11 (NIV)Episode HighlightsWhy “fashion-show Christianity” leaves us vulnerableThe importance of wearing every piece of God's armor dailyHow to stop “playing table tennis with the devil” and start walking in true authorityThe freedom of relying on God's strength instead of striving in our ownPractical insights on living prepared, not just looking religiousLife ApplicationThe Christian life is not a show—it is a battle. The armor of God is not symbolic or optional; it is your daily protection:The helmet of salvation guards your mind from lies and fear. The breastplate of righteousness protects your heart and motives. The belt of truth secures your life in God's Word. The shield of faith extinguishes fiery darts of doubt and accusation. The sword of the Spirit equips you with Scripture to fight back. The shoes of peace keep you steady and ready to carry the gospel.Victory comes not from fighting in our own strength, but from standing firm in Christ's authority. The cross has already secured the outcome—our role is to remain steadfast, dressed and ready.Call to ActionThis episode is an urgent invitation to trade surface-level religion for true, Spirit-filled readiness.☕ Buy Me a Coffee

From Brooklyn gangs to competing in North Korea, table tennis saved Wally Geen's life and turned him into a messenger of peace.Nobody in the West really cares about table tennis, which is why Wally Green isn't a household name.I mention the West because, as we all know, Asians not only love the sport but are masters of it. The Chinese, for example, are on another level entirely. Have you seen them play? It's incredible.Anyway, back to Wally. His story is not about winning competitions, but about winning at life.To be clear, Wally represented the United States in over 35 International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) pro tours around the world, but he has never won a major competition. However, what makes his journey inspirational is how he overcame an abusive father, gangs, and hiding guns, to direct his anger towards competitive sports and create hilarious memories around the world. After all, how often do Black people play table tennis in North Korea?

With his sights focused on becoming a respected top-ten world-class table tennis player, the Almighty, Eternal One of Israel, got ahold of his life and redirected his dream. Instead of going for the Olympic gold in Table Tennis, Yosef came to be a well-known and respected trainer for the paraplegic Christina Hoffman, who, in fact, did go on to become Mexico's world-class table tennis national champion. But this is just the beginning of the story about Yosef Sanchez. Today, he leads a Spanish-language Messianic ministry in Cancun, Mexico. Indeed, his spiritual life's journey is engaging, taking him from world-class Table Tennis to world-class biblical research and Spanish language Messianic leadership.
